Villa Amour was also designed to provide the ultimate in comfortable luxury -- from the gourmet kitchen complete with herb garden to the expansive indoor/outdoor living spaces. This home offers the supreme relaxation experience. Whether you are enjoying the views from the four 'en suite' air-conditioned bedrooms or lounging pool side, Villa Amour is the place to enjoy a superior Caribbean experience just 15 minutes from the airport.


The Unique Benefits of this Villa: The villa Is very private, has many one of a kind works of art and sculptures. A lot of time is spent tending to the tropical gardens as it is a labor of love. Being a retired chef, the kitchen is better equipped than most.

Why the Owner Chose Neltjeberg Bay: I didn't buy Villa amour I designed and built it . The area is pristine and unspoiled like the Island used to be.

Couldn’t be better!
Fully equipped house with pool and hot tub! Cool decor too. The layout of the house is so wonderful for having outdoor space that’s out of the rain/sun plus having various areas to be “away” from the whole crowd if you want a break.

Great Weekend at Rick's Place
Celebrated my mom's 75th birthday at Rick's place and it was amazing. The kitchen was well stocked and the house had all of the essentials needed for a great vacation. I will definitely be staying here again.

Beautiful views!
We really enjoyed our stay! I loved opening the sliders every morning and eating breakfast on the lanai! Sky and ocean views everywhere we looked. The house stayed cool during the day and the bedrooms cooled off well at night. We made a few trips to the grocery store which was very convenient and used the kitchen and grill most days! If we head back to St Thomas, we’d definitely look to return to this fabulous home!

Amazing property with beautiful views!
Absolutely amazing stay! The views were breath taking and made for a relaxing vacation. Rick was an awesome host. Was available when we had questions and provided great suggestions. Loved the private beach at the end of the road. The road to the property was pretty rough, definitely needed 4WD. Can’t wait to come back and stay at this amazing property again!

The road to get to the house is a bit well-traveled but the view is worth it! Rick was responsive and easy to work with. He even came and helped when we got turned around on our arrival. The pool, view, and open-air concept were perfect for our spring break. Fantastic!!!

My family really enjoyed the pool and outside area. Having coffee and watching the sunrise was wonderful. The landscaping is gorgeous! As previously mentioned the road to the house is rough.

Mom’s 60th birthday vacation!
We had a wonderful week at Villa Amour. The house was very well kept and the view is unbelievable. The pool and hot tub were fantastic. We used them every day. We had plenty of room for six adults and two kids. The road is a bit of a challenge. I’d suggest a Jeep. The property manager, Jeanna, was very attentive and helpful. We’d definitely stay here again!

This place looks just like the pictures. Very comfortable. Worth the money. The road to get there, however, is challenging! Make sure to rent a 4 wheel drive vehicle.

Great Getaway
We stayed here for our first time on the island. Rick was a fantastic host. The property is beautiful with incredible views to the North side of the island. We had a wonderful time. The house and pool were amazing. Probably my favorite thing was the view though and the big pocket doors that opened to the pool area. You always felt like you were outside even when in the living room because of those.Every morning we’d open those up and watch the sunrise. They were also very accommodating,we got in very early Saturday and they let us check in 2 hours early and were at the door to greet us. The only downside was the road leading to the house but the owner prepared us beforehand. It’s a very bumpy 5 minute drive down to the house but well worth the view you got from that drive!

Absolutely amazing property. Couldn’t have been happier with the house and communication with the owners. The home was absolutely stunning! As everyone stated, the road to the house is a little rough at first, but you quickly get used to it. I was honestly expecting worse! The kitchen is absolutely to die for and I loved cooking and looking at that VIEW 😍!! The owner and property manager were both so welcoming and helpful! I cannot wait for my next vacation to St. Thomas and I already know I’ll be staying at Villa Amour!

What can I say that others haven't already said?! Gorgeous home with a beautiful pool and hot tub, plenty of sitting/relaxing spaces, and a stunning view of the Atlantic. Every day we took the beach chairs and snorkel equipment and visited a new beach. Ordered take out several nights from "13" (just at the top of the hill) or cooked at home. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. Rick was great. Hopefully we'll be back some day!

Perfect Escape!
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Villa Amour! Spend the majority of our time lounging, eating, and drinking at the Villa. You just can't get enough of the view. My favorite time was a half hour before sunrise, starting the coffee and opening up the sliders, listening to the birds, and ahh that view! The property manager was attentive, answering all our questions (thank you!) The place was clean, the kitchen was adequate for cooking and grilling. We have no complaints...loved every minute. We even loved the road, which was scary at first but after arriving at the Villa you won't think twice about it! Just make sure you have a vehicle with a bit of ground clearance!

Fabulous property!
Reviews This is a magical house! We loved everything about our stay here. Every little nook and cranny contains some beautiful art or thoughtful decoration and the layout is unique and absolutely perfect for a group. The light fixtures are amazing. And the view of the sea cannot be beat. We had so many wonderful moments in the outdoor living space. Beds super comfy, kitchen fun to cook in and to bring in private chef Salma. Hot tub and pool were great. Jeanna was wonderful, she was responsive to all of our questions and our needs, super easy communication and she gave great recommendations for what to do on and around the island. The hike down to and up from the bay was a great workout and fantastic swimming. We got used to the rugged and steep road after driving it a couple times. We were a group of 7 with three small kids (ages 7, 4, 1). Excellent stay, we highly recommend Villa Amour if you are on St. Thomas.

winter/super bowl getaway
The property is beautiful and the view and grounds were amazing. Six adults had plenty of room to enjoy the pool, hot tub, dining and living areas. The owners were extremely responsive and helpful with any issues. They went above and beyond to help with a Valentine's dinner recommendation and help with transportation. The only downside is the travel to the villa on very bumpy roads and ability to get to restaurants/bars/stores etc. We did get more comfortable as time went on, but still did not do any night time travel. Thank goodness for the jeeps! Taxi travel is quite costly so all of our sightseeing was during the day. The beaches are beautiful and we saw some gorgeous views during our stay. The owners even gave us a tour of their new amazing property before we left. Overall a wonderful stay!

Christmas in St. Thomas
The property manger Rick was a pleasure to communicate with. He quickly replied to all our pre travel questions, and was happy to give recommendations and local knowledge. He suggested that we rent jeeps, which proved to be essential. Rick lives on property which meant that responded quickly in person. The house is large and easily accommodated our party of 8 adults, there are two large tables which allowed us to eat both inside and out. The view from the pool is incredible, we spent the majority of our time outside by the pool and in the hot tub. It is a short drive down to a private and clean beach. Our suggestion for improvement would be for a deep clean and to refresh the linens.

Slice of paradise
I can’t say enough about this house and the owners (and property manager Jeanna). We hope to come back and stay again! The house is beautiful with an amazing view, hot tub and infinity pool. It was a perfect way for our family to start and end each day! At the bottom of the road is essentially a private beach. What more could anyone want? The owners even gave us a tour of the new home they just built above this house. Super friendly and responsive when we had a hot tub question. The road is mostly unpaved and a bit of a wild ride but that’s what keeps the beach secluded. The roads in St. Thomas are a little funky anyway so it’s just part of the paradise adventure. Thanks Rick and Steve for sharing your beautiful home!

OUR SECOND STAY AT VILLA AMOUR DID NOT DISAPPOINT
My family & I stayed at Villa Amour back in 2016 and it was such an amazing experience we decided to do it again August 2023 with our 9 month old daughter and two teenage boys. The house is immaculate. Absolutely beautiful both inside and out. The natural garden is magnificent; the infinity pool is the highlight for us; and the hot tub for my husband. Lol. We made more amazing memories for our family! The property manager Jeanna was more than accommodating & made sure we had everything we needed. Even suggested one of our new favorite places to eat. Rick and Steve were so courteous! The one issue we had was my fault & they fixed it the same day ! There was also snorkel gear for us, a washer & dryer, beach chairs, coolers, ice packs, and a high chair ! The view is one of the best on the island - the neighborhood is secluded & safe. The road is definitely rugged but the Jeep handled it just fine. We hope to make our stay at Villa Amour a tradition!
