This villa has one of the most amazing views, one of the best you will ever experience! You will absolutely LOVE this villa which has a gorgeous brand new kitchen, brand new King sized mattress, brand new sleeper sofa and all photos are updated! I promise this will be one of your best vacations ever!

This oceanfront villa has a 42" flat screen TV, 1,200 thread count sheets for an amazing soft nights sleep after your island adventures! Plus, I will provide you with all the best tips for beaches, restaurants and more.

The Villa:
This villa is located on Point Pleasant Resort with excellent views of 9 islands! From the porch you get to hear the gentle sounds of waves below. This villa has brand new furniture, and a complete kitchen and bath remodel which is gorgeous!

Bedroom:
Brand new king bed with 1,200 thread count sheets for an amazing nights sleep. Plus, you wake up, lift your head and look at the ocean! It has a new high-powered ceiling fan plus AC to stay cool, plus new lights and lots of closet space.

Bathroom:
Brand new bathroom with high-finish tiles, gorgeous vanity, new toilet, accents and more. You will LOVE it.

Living Room:
Brand new sofa which is super comfortable, enabling you to look at the ocean and islands from the couch. A really cool treasure chest coffee table and nice flat screen TV for watching TV or movies at night.

Wonderful vacation resort and area.
The view, the view, the view. We really enjoyed our vacation. The resort had everthing you needed. It was great having a kitchen and enjoying cocktails and a few meals on the large porch. The pool, and restaurants were nice to have on property. Shawn was available quickly for any questions, and made sure our stay was great.

Relaxing property with great views

Myself, my wife and husband went from 3/21- 3/25 we had an ABSOLUTELY GREAT TIME. The VIEW was AMAZING. He property was BEAUTIFUL and the apartment was FABULOUS just like the photos provided. But better. We rented a jeep to get around. St Thomas is very hilly. We walked to 2 of the near by beaches, drove 5/10min to other and ate local food all over.

We were super impressed with the views, checkin process, host communication, and overall just a solid 5 star place to stay ! Great restaurant about 20 yds away and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay ! There’s 3 pools on the resort and the middle level one was just out the front door. We loved it , almost no people there ever.

Point Pleasant was pleasant and quiet
We loved the view and that one of the pools was so close to this unit. There is a shuttle that will take you to the other places on the property if you're not up to walking. There was no blender or toaster in the unit as shown so keep that in mind if you wanted smoothies or blender drinks. The owner said we could buy one and he would reimburse us but we only went to town twice so no time for buying blenders.

Great view, great location
We loved this little condo. Perfect for 2 people. Well stocked and not cluttered. Shawn was responsive and the folks working at the property were lovely and helpful. We used the pool but didn't use the beach here. Highly recommend having a car at this property. The Point Pleasant shuttle will run you up from the restaurant at the bottom of the property . Easy to get to all the beaches and St John and Redhook for dinners or groceries with a vehicle. Could use 2 more beach towels 😁. But the laundry room was a bonus!!

It was an OK place but it could use a deep clean. They should also update their description of place because it is obviously outdated as well as all his recommendations. We enjoyed are stay and toke advantage of their snorkel gear, cooler and chair.

It's all about the view here!
My husband and I enjoyed our 4 night stay at this condo. I booked this condo as it had great reviews and everyone said the view was amazing. It did not disappoint. The condo was well appointed, clean and the bed was comfy. It is steps from parking although we just used a taxi if we wanted to go to town. There are 2 restaurants on site which was very handy and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. We especially enjoyed feeding the sturgeon! Fun to watch. The pools also had a beautiful views and were nice and quiet. Just a note, there is a lot of walking and stairs but the resort will shuttle you around. Communication with the host was very good as well. Thank you Shawn!

The view was indeed amazing! The property was very hilly, but worth it to us for the view. The owner contacted us soon after we booked and provided helpful information on things to do in the area. He was also very responsive to any questions we had. We chose to rent a car for our stay and had access to pretty much anything we wanted to do with less than 30 minute drive. The food was a little pricey but excellent at the Ocean 180 restaurant, which is very close to the condo. The shower in the unit was pretty small but adequate. We were happy with our choice to stay here on our first trip to St. Thomas.

The location and property was AMAZING!! So close to great excursions, restaurants and beaches!!! The property owner, Shawn, was very attentive to respond to any questions or concerns we had. He had the A/C fixed within hours. The Sun and Sea restaurant had great food and drinks.The three pools were all so clean and relaxing after a day of adventures.Must do activities would.be the Jammin' Jeep Tour (half day) with G and The Stormy Pirates snorkeling around St. John with a stop at Lime Out ( floating Taco bar off of St. John's) BEST TACO TUESDAY YOU WILL EVER EXPERIENCE!!! A sunset dinner at Seaside Grille, fun times at Duffy's Love Shack, and best pizza at Island Time Pub. Booking Shawn's Island Villa will be the best vacation and one to always remember!!!

Best. Trip. Ever.
It would be enough that St. Thomas is paradise. It would be enough for Shawn's condo to look out over sapphire-blue water. It would even be enough that the resort itself is as tranquil as can be. But on top of all that, Shawn is a beyond gracious host and a master planner and advisor on all things St. Thomas. The place is spotless, the wi-fi fast, and the location unbeatable. There can't be enough good things said about either his home or him--and we'd recommend staying at his place in St. Thomas to anyone who is looking for adventure, relaxation, and a trip you'll never forget. Get on the next flight out--you won't regret it.

Paradise in St. Thomas
We have stayed at Point Pleasant several times and this condo checks all of the boxes. Overall the condo is clean and contains all of the amenities you need including a well stocked kitchen although a bit old and used, and snorkel gear, small cooler, etc needed for a trip to the beach. The patio overlooks Sugar Bay and is just a minute to the pool. The entrance to the condo is through the patio. The resort itself has a small secluded beach with several large cushion platforms with umbrellas to lay out on, we never seemed to have a problem getting one of these. The snorkeling off this beach is actually quite good. A short 20 minute walk through Jimmy Buffetts Margaritaville and you can reach Coki Beach which has very nice snorkeling. Here you can buy drinks, lunch and rent lounge chairs. I suggest going on a light cruise ship day although it was not too busy when we went. We would certainly recommend this condo.

INCREDIBLE VALUE
A clean updated place where you wake up to a view of the sun coming up over St John every morning from your bed….just awesome. We love the elevated mountain view. You’ll want to drive/taxi to explore all the different beaches anyway. So why not get this all world mountain view! Go swim with sea turtles at Maho Bay on St John. Ferry and taxi service is so easy. Cinnamon Beach was also a day at the beach like no other. Just go! At Maho and Cinnamon you will find clean facilities for beach chairs, snorkeling gear, food, drinks, bathrooms, etc. Close by we had amazing fresh salads with grilled chicken and margherita pizzas for lunch and dinner multiple days at Paradise Pie at Sapphire Beach resort. It’s all open air with relaxed vibe. Yes that water is sapphire! Tarpons Table in Red Hook was our favorite dinner spot. Simple proper fresh food with a chill marina atmosphere AND you can feed the Tarpon off the deck. We did not find the Baths BVI trip to be worth that day’s expense and time. It’s a LONG day and more value of time and money is spent at the St John beaches. Magen’s beach on St Thomas is also a must see. We fell in love with St John but the value and view of using this unit as your base is unmatched. Communication with the host and check in are flawless. Definitely worth the stay! For those concerned, this is NOT a weed haven. Some interaction with the smell from locals on the streets but the tourist population is upscale and clean. We had no exposure to it on St John.

Great condo, great time!
We had a great trip to St. Thomas and enjoyed our stay at the condo! Great place at a great price! I was nervous about renting a condo through VRDO because I have always stayed at hotels, but the process was easy and Shawn was great to work with and everything was as advertised. Before we booked the property, I contacted Shawn to see if the property had wireless, which it did not at the time. However, just to show that Shawn truly goes above and beyond for his guests he emailed me back and let me know that he would get it installed before my arrival and then to my surprise, I got an email the next letting me know it was already installed. It was important to us to have wireless because my wife and I wanted to Skype with our kids while we were on our vacation and Shawn took care of that issue for us. Shawn makes himself available via email and cell phone to his guests and he emails you a four page summary of things to do when you are there visiting, which came in very handy. We took many of his recommendations and had a great time. The view from the condo is amazing, you are very close to the pool, the restaurant on the property had good food, and the small private beach is nice. The location is a five minute drive to red hook and the ferry to St. John's. We rented a car for our stay and we were happy with our decision to do this because it allowed us to go where we wanted, when we wanted! My only regret is we could not stay longer!

Fantastic doesn't begin to describe....
Our stay at point pleasant resort with Shawn as our host couldn't have been better. We went down for a three day weekend seeking a break from the cold. What we got was as close to paradise as I have come. I have been to many resorts in my day. Mostly top tier company sponsored trips that have usually included ritz Carlton's and four seasons in exotic locations. When I booked this trip, I was expecting to be roughing it compartivly. The truth is, nothing could be farther from the truth. Shawn was attentive and responsive. I can't begin to tell you how cool he was. He got back to me within minutes usually (not joking) and had tons of ideas and thoughts to share. It was really great as it felt like we had our own personal concierge of sorts. We rented a car which is needed in my opinion. The island is very hilly and you will have to deal with driving on the wrong side of the road. It wasn't all that bad once you got used to it. I will say, there are a few grocery stores nearby and we got ourselves some fresh produce and some rum, and were able to have breakfast and lunch at the villa. The view is literally amazing, and it is so close to coki beach, as well as a few others. I can't complement Shawn enough. The whole experience was just really positive. There may be a places that are more expensive, but I think this ranks right up there with one of the best hidden gems ive yet to find out there. I can't say enough positive things about our experience and how highly I reccomend the place. We are deffiinitly going back!!! Stop and get some fresh mangos at one of the fruit stands for a dollar...it will be one of the most delicious and sweet experiences you will have, except from maybe the sunrises from the deck. 5 stars for sure!!!

Paradise on Earth!
Loved it! Huge window wall facing the ocean. Beautiful gardens. Lots of places to explore on the grounds. Weather was fabulous, even at night taking the ferry across from St. John, I didn't need a jacket. Rained a little in the mornings, but it blew over quickly. Walked to Coki beach and had a fabulously person visit to the aquarium. Spent a day at Magen's Bay and walked through Phantasea Botanical gardens. Did a 4 mile hike at the National Park on St. John and went back the next day to snorkel with the sea turtles in Maho Bay. Happy Hour at Point Pleasant was the best deal, but we learned you have to ask for Happy Hour priced drinks otherwise we got top shelf $9 drinks. The Point Pleasant bar is worth the walk down because you can sit out on the deck that hangs out over the water. Great time of year to go, no crowds any where. Weather was fabulous. People were so friendly. We did rent a car, but probably wouldn't do that again. A little nerve wreaking driving on the left side and you can take the local open air bus service for a $1 or $2. Groceries were twice what I am used to so I wished I would have brought more food from home and less clothes. Wore our swim suits every day. It was so great that Sean has some snacks, beer and water and some supplies in the kitchen, plus snorkel gear, chairs and beach towels. Wished we would have brought a small collapsible cooler. The less popular beaches don't have any food service or bars. We bought a Styrofoam cooler and left it in the closet, but we found out later that the resort will rent you a cooler for $10. He also had a couple of those cooler packs in the freezer. Bring a beach bag and a huge bottle of sunscreen. Nice there was no one hassling us to a time share or buy their goods until we went shopping in the open market in Charlotte Amalie. Walked up the 99+ steps to Blackbeards Castle just to find out it was closed on Thursdays! Nice view anyway. Ran into a few people off cruise ships, but not the hordes I was anticipating. The bigger beaches rent chairs for $5, which I highly recommend because I came home covered with bites. My husband only had one! Some people had huge lightweight nylon tarps they staked out in the sand, (looked like tent material, something they might sell at REI) that probably would have prevented the bites. All in all, it was a great vacation and awesome spot, highly recommended as long as you don't mind walking up and down a lot of steps.

Property lacking. Views incredible.
The views are beyond 5 star. However, the accommodations are less than 5. The positives, the kitchen has everything you need and is a good size for cooking. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen table has 3 chairs (missing one) and one of the three is questionable as to how long it will remain standing. There is many sand filled snorkels and two beach chairs (arm was broken on one). The air worked nicely. The cooler on site for use, was a nice touch. The little things that were really missing: The fan in the living room would spin randomly. There were two fan remotes. The bedroom fan remote was located in the kitchen and was missing batteries. The other remote didn’t seem to work for either fan (found in the bedroom). Only parts of the TV remote worked (silver buttons none of the rest. Closet door was missing. The shower head was ok, it was old and clearly broken in a few spots where the water came out. Screen door was jammed. Finally, my husband was able to unjam it after our 4th day. Then we realized it didn’t matter, because the left screen didn’t meet the right screen and the right screen had a tear in it. The mosquitos WILL get in at night. So, we were unable to enjoy the ocean breeze after sundown. Big disappointment. There was NO HOT water our entire trip. Luckily, there was luke warm/room temperature water or this pregnant lady would have left. We contacted the property manager, who apologized that his prior customers may have turned a “screw sized non located under a cover under a sink” and this maybe have turned the temperature down. However, we tried to turn this nob and it didn’t change the temperature of the water. We never heard from the property manager after his first idea to fix the issue. Cleaning lady came at 11:00 on the dot. She was very nice and understanding as we finished cleaning the kitchen/ rolling out our suit cases. But, know that 11:00 is a strict get out of the apartment time. Note: pandemic or not, you won’t get your money back. I was 6 months pregnant on this trip and was offered a sympathy amount back if I “canceled the same day I inquired about canceling.” Rather than waste my money, we decided to go. However, it does state no cancellations right in the description. Quiet spot. Location was great. Neighbors were wonderful. We will stay somewhere else at this complex again. St Thomas is a real gem and truly beautiful.
