The Blue Door Cottage is the perfect beach getaway, sleeps 8 with a POOL!
You beach retreat is here at The Blue Door Cottage. The best features are the family size pool (with option to heat in cooler months) and poolside screened in porch featuring a large TV. Here guests can relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We are located just 4 streets away to the popular Coast Guard Station Beach entrance.

THE SPACE
Family Room has comfortable seating with large TV and is open to the dining room, kitchen and access to the screened in porch. Just down the hall are the bedrooms and the Queen suite is located upstairs beyond the kitchen. A drip coffee maker and grill have been provided for your use.

Why Stay on East Beach:
The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould's Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum.

Heated Pool: This property offers a heated pool option. The cost is $75/night+tax and can be added up to 48 hours before arrival. Let us know if you'd like to heat the pool!

No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.

Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend(last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.

No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

Great place with a pool near the beach!
The Blue Door Cottage was a great place to stay for the 7 of us on a beach vacation to St. Simon’s! The pool was amazing, and the location is a walkable distance from the beach! The screened in porch was also lovely while it rained!
