THE SPACE

The pool at After Dune Delight is the perfect spot to cool off after a hot and sunny day at the beach. And during the cooler months, you have the option to heat the pool for added comfort.
Speaking of the beach, there is a convenient public beach entrance just steps from the back of the home. Note: We are located ocean front, but please note that beach access is tide contingent. High tide occurs twice daily at varying times throughout the year, making the beach inaccessible.

Upstairs main living level: Fully equipped kitchen with a drip coffee maker. Living room with additional new sofa 2023. Screened in porch with steps down to the back yard and public beach entrance, assessable at low tide. King bedroom (sleeps 2) with adjoining bathroom with shower.
Downstairs at ground level are 3+ bedrooms, sharing 2 baths:
* Guest Room 1 has a queen bed (sleeps 2) with a comfy new mattress Winter 2023
* Guest Room 2 also has a queen bed (sleeps 2) with a comfy new mattress Winter 2023
* Guest Room 3 is a large bunk room with 2 full beds (sleeps 4) on the bottom and 2 twins (sleeps 2) on the top.
* There's also a bunk nook a kids favorite, featuring 2 more twins (sleeps 2)
The downstairs includes 2 full baths - one with a shower/tub combo and the other with a shower.
The pool is hour glass shaped – approximately 20 feet long, 14 feet wide at its widest point. There is a 6 foot overflow round spa (not a hot tub with bubbling jets) - see photo.
Note: Pool heat and spa is optional. The spa and pool temperature will be the same. The over flow prevents one from being hot and the other cold. If you choose to heat the water, the fee applies to the full stay.
Poolside is a gas grille for your use.

Located on the south end of the Island, St. Simons Pier Village district serves as the downtown social hub and is a popular destination for shopping, dining and gathering on the pier and nearby lighthouse, playground and picnic areas. Overlooking the ocean and Jekyll Island across the way, you'll find the St. Simons Lighthouse and Museum, Neptune Park with its ocean side pool and facilities, playground, miniature golf course, and an oak shaded picnic area, fishing pier, public library and theater.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surchages attached to your reservation.
Pets: This home is dog friendly for dogs 25lbs or less with $250 pet fee, 2 dogs max. Unfortunately we can't host puppies < 1 year old or breeds known to insurance carriers as 'vicious', please ask if you're not sure.
Heated Pool: This property offers a heated pool option. The cost is $100/night+tax and can be added up to 48 hours before arrival. Let us know if you'd like to heat the pool!
No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.
Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend(last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.
No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.
