"Had the most surprising and wonderful stay. Great welcome from the reception team member checking us in, he could not have been any more welcoming- well done ! The hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The indoor pool could do with a facelift. The outside pool just lovely and the setting is beautiful. For breakfast - loved that the hot items are a la cart and not sitting on a buffet - great ! Perfect breakfast- the service team are truly world class - only one point - why not have the tables face the view which is stunning !? (tables are set to face the interior). Overall great hotel ! Loved it "

"Staff very professional and very friendly. Our room in the west wing, a deluxe double with sea view and balcony was excellent. Lots of options to dine but the food and especially the wine were very expensive. Loved the seafood tasting menu in the Grill restaurant but again pricey. Will return ASAP."

"Due to a family bereavement in Jersey I had to stay at The Somerville for close to 3 weeks. The hotel was lovely, some history to it, great location overlooking St Aubin's Bay and only a short distance to the pubs and restaurants. Staff were fantastic, very sympathetic in view of my reason for staying there, very professional and nothing was a problem to help. Car park right outside hotel and always a lovely welcome from all the staff when one returned. Highly recommend. Thankyou Somerville. "
