Modern Townhouse Set In Idealic Chateau Grounds

Villa Nova is an exclusive development in the historic town of St Remy de Provence. Within the development there are 15 townhouses, built in 2005, and the original epoque villa, which dates back to 1896, now converted into 4 apartments. Villa Nova is a secure, gated site with private parking and courtyard gardens offering a peaceful base for your stay in this wonderful town. The house is only a 5 minute stroll from the heart of the town.

This townhouse offers you 3 floors of contemporary, stylish, living space overlooking the beautiful gardens of Villa Nova. This house is south westerly facing giving you the opportunity to enjoy the terrace and gardens all year round.

On the ground floor the open living space has 2 large comfortable sofas, a 46inch flat screen, 3D Samsung television, with blue-ray DVD player. There is also a Sony wireless speaker system which is compatible to iPad, iPod, MP3 and laptops.
There is a large dining table with 6 chairs.
A large modern kitchen with a full range of Siemens appliances gives the option of dining in when the mood takes you. Step out of french doors onto the large sunny terrace. There is an fully-automatic electric awning to allow you to use the terrace all year round and enjoy the pleasure of eating outdoors with the oak furniture provided.

Up the first flight of stairs to an open landing leading off into 2 of the bedrooms and a bathroom. Both bedrooms have windows opening out onto the gardens and plenty of storage space. The Bathroom has a large walk in shower, basin and WC.

Up the second flight of stairs into the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom. This large room has a king size bed, 2 double wardrobes and drawer space. The bathroom has a bath with a shower, basin and WC.

There is full air-conditioning on all floors, central heating and plenty of hot water - providing everything you need for a perfect holiday.

The property manager will personally meet you when you arrive and show you around the house. She is also on hand during the your stay to help with any help you might need.

A beautiful property
This is the 4 th time we have stayed at this property. A beautiful location in town and a wonderful décor tastefully done. Julie the manager is amazing and communicates very well. Just walk into town for groceries , goodies and anything you like . Beautiful for day trips to Avignon , Chateneuf de Pape, Tavel, Niemes , Arles , etc

A very well equipped and very clean holiday let. Secure parking in the center of town. Within walking distance of all restaurants and shops. It makes an excellent base to tour the surrounding area. We enjoyed it and would be back if in the area in the future. One of the best holiday lets we have had.

A week of peace & tranquility
This was a very relaxing place to stay with elegant surroundings, close enough to walk to the lively heart of the town but away from traffic and noise. Set in private, peaceful grounds. Well equipped; excellent communication and contact with the manager. A lovely, comfortable place to stay. Probably best-suited to older families/groups due to the furnishing style and steep stairs. Would definitely stay there again if re-visiting the area.

Fabulous space & location!
This townhouse does not disappoint! We spent a week there and were extremely impressed with how perfect the location was for walking to everything, as well as the comfortable furnishings and well appointed kitchen! Amazing Property
This Townhome is located inside St. Remy . You have a Patisserie just down the street and centrally located for all the restaurants and shops. The property itself is pristine and fully stocked and furnished . Some of our favorite nights were sitting outside on the porch eating some great foods we found that day and drinking wine . Have fun!!!!

Perfect rental in St Remy
Beautiful property on the grounds of an old chateau, with a garden and parking. Easy walking distance to St Remy and it’s wonderful shops, restaurants, etc. Julie, the property manager, left detailed instructions and was very helpful. The house was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked ( which was great as we enjoyed cooking our purchases from the Marche). Will definitely rent this property again if we return to St Remy!

The Villa is well presented and very clean. The facilities for self catering are more than adequate however you are located a five minute walk from St Remy with it's host of restaurants for nights out. Try The Marilyn the best and cheapest we visited. St Remy is well located to see the many sights of Provence

Look no further- this is the place!!
My husband and I spent 9 days here exploring Provence. We had never been in th south of France and were very glad we chose this home as our base. First of all, the home is very nice. It is a beautiful house, exactly as pictured. Beds are comfortable as is the furniture. The kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook- a little or a lot. Everything in St. Remy is within walking distance- bakeries, groceries, many restaurants of all types and prices, shopping, the local markets, the Roman Ruins and the sanitarium where Van Gogh spent some time toward the end of his life. It was a good starting point to visit the hill towns, Avignon, Arles, Les Baux, the Camargue, etc. Julie was there to greet us and explain the washing machine, stove, and dishwasher- for the American visitors who, perhaps like us, are often perplexed by the workings of European appliances. She responded promptly to our emails before and during our stay. I would return here in a heartbeat and highly recommend the property.

Gorgeous townhouse in a beautiful town
Our family of four (adults) was extremely pleased with this well-maintained, very clean, well-equipped contemporary townhouse in St-Remy-de-Provence and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful and historic town. The property exceeds its HomeAway listing description in terms of comfort and convenience. The building itself is one of several facing an attractive open courtyard adjacent to a secured car park. The ground floor rooms take advantage of an open plan design (kitchen/dining area and living room) which made the rooms feel quite spacious for the four of us. The house has a pleasant private patio containing a table and four chairs, perfect for an early evening glass of wine and conversation, which we took advantage of. The two bedrooms on the next floor up are a good size and very comfortable, and share a large, modern bathroom. The spacious master suite on the top floor is well-designed, and has its own en-suite bathroom. Besides having a king bed, this large bedroom also contains a loveseat and a flat screen television, along with two comfortable armchairs. There is also a powder room (toilet and washbasin) on the ground floor. While we never met our host, Julie, she was very responsive to our questions about check-in and departure, and on how to access the English language television channels. We also took advantage of the house’s central air conditioning a few times, in the evenings. The local boulangerie down the street (Avenue Fauconnet) has exceptionally good bread and pastries and the large Intermarche Super grocery store at the edge of the town (Route D99) has a broad selection of supermarket items. The timing of our visit couldn’t have been better. The weather in late September was sunny and dry, with some days warmer and some cooler. We also were fortunate to have arrived when the town was having its Fetes Votives (or abrivado-bandido), a unique local event involving bulls and “cowboys.” We did not expect to see bulls running through the streets, but we did. The town is beautiful, and the surrounding area has many nearby attractions. We would gladly rent this property again, and recommend it to friends.

Perfect location, beautiful home, well appointed
A short walk (3-4 mins) into town, this townhouse was the perfect base for us to explore the Roman circuits (Glanum, Arles, pont de gard), the villages of the Luberon and the Alpilles Park. This home is perfectly and thoughtfully appointed. The charm in in the details. After 24 hours in transit, we arrived and found a home that had all the essentials you could need - coffee, toilet paper (!), dish / laundry soap, basic spices and condiments. Not a single detail was overlooked. Thank you Julie for guiding us post arrival. The AC was a godsend. Would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Note - excellent bakery is about 200 meters away. Closest grocery store is SPAR about 500 meters, just past the church.

Très bon séjour à Saint Rémy de Provence
La maison est spacieuse, confortable et en parfait état. La chambre parentale est très grande avec de beaux placards et une salle de bain attenante. Ce logement est très bien meublé, tous les ustensiles utiles sont présents. Le jardin est calme et très agréable. Nous recommandons fortement cette maison situé à 5 minutes du centre ville.
