Welcome to Casa Tropicana in the heart of sunny St Petersburg, Florida. Your beach themed room with self-check-in awaits you. Located only 10 minutes from the nearby beaches. Walking distance to the bus thet takes you to St. Pete Beach.

This is a private room and bath 100 % seperate from the homeowners who live on the property.

Spend time lounging in your private shaded courtyard or slip into the queen sized bed, cozy up, watch TV and rest for another fun filled day. Located centrally halfway between Downtown St. Pete and the beach.

Casa Tropicana is spacious with a large closet, ceiling fan, TV, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker for your convenience. You'll also have a portable fan, beach chairs and towels for your convenience.

A pretty little place that was very clean, had all the things we needed, a fun little porch to sit on and was located just a few minutes from shopping, restaurants, and my son’s school. Hostesses were great and we enjoyed our stay.

A Wonderful Place to Relax

We enjoyed our stay. We were out and about all day during our stay and just used the room for our rest at night. It is just as the pictures show, clean and cosy. When we had any questions we texted our host and had very quick responses.

The property was located in a nice quiet neighborhood. The room was just as pictured. Was relaxing, private and clean. This was the 1st time only renting a room and not a whole house and was pleasantly surprised! Definitely an affordable option instead of staying at an expensive hotel!

Great alternative to pricey hotels!
So glad we stumbled onto this stay on VRBO! Cute little suite in a lovely private home. Private entrance and little private outdoor seating area. Bed was comfortable and the bath has a big shower with plenty of water pressure. It is about 15-20 minutes through town to the beach, but that worked for us, as we were in the area briefly to visit friends. Very nice place and a great value. So glad we chose this stop! Recommended!

Just like home!
Booked this private room for a quick weekend getaway. The owners, Jon and Ulrika, were extremely kind, friendly and responsive! Their instructions were clear, the private entrance was adorable and the room was cozy! Their property was so cute and very inviting. If we come back to the area, we know where we will be staying!

Amazing couples retreat
We had an amazing time at this vacation home. The hosts welcomed us in like family, it truly is a place where you will feel like you never left home. The hosts have great recommendations for things to do locally so be sure and ask. Do yourself a favor and go to Jax in and out for breakfast this is a hidden Gem, you’ll thank us later! The Vrbo has a cute courtyard for you to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunshine. We will definitely be starting here again!

It was great! Very quiet and comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is a separate heat and air system. It wasn't as cool as I would have liked but would stay again for sure if that issue was fixed. Great setting and very nicely decorated.

Little Gem...
What a great little find. We felt safe and comfy here in this property. It was tastefully decorated with the beach theme. The hosts were very nice people and responsive to any messages. I liked the fact that the door code would get changed for each guest. This gave us confidence that we were happy to leave our money and passport there while we were out unlike our villa that we were also staying in during our trip to Florida. Thank you Ulrike & Joe
