From the moment we arrived we felt like we were in a home away from home. All our needs were met and the amenities were above and beyond.
It was very clean and welcoming.
Absolutely looking forward to staying here in the future.
Walking distance to uptown, the Pier, and lovely quaint old St Pete's neighbourhoods. The interior was very clean. The floor on the screened in deck needs a coat of paint so it could be cleaned as well.
Super-cute and cozy loft apartment on a quiet back ally in a quiet neighborhood. For the two of us, it was just right. Since it was spring in FL during our stay, we were able to open up the doors to the screened-in porch and really expand the living space in the evenings and mornings when it was cool out. TWO coffee shops a very short walk away, which was very nice.
Communication was ok once I stopped trying to communicate through the VRBO app and just texted the property manager.
Check out instructions came the day of checkout, later in the morning after we'd already left.
We would absolutely stay here again, and would recommend it to others.
We were a short 20 minute drive from the beach, left and Uber prices were low and walking distances were also very short. The property was adorable, perfect size for me and my partner. The property manager got back very quickly whenever I had any questions. The stay was honestly just amazing. St. Pete and the surrounding cities are some of the most unique and welcoming places to visit. I highly recommend this stay to anyone wanting beach days and great food choices!
Excellent Saint Pete's downtown location. Exceptionally close to the downtown center and walkable. The city has a vibrant arty atmosphere.
The apartment met all of our needs. It is older and has stairs. It reminded us of a college apartment! Laundry was a bonus! Parking was convenient.
We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. Close to the downtown area with lots to see. The furniture was different from what was pictured and not very comfortable. But we would definitely stay again and recommend this place. My wife and I had a great time!
Stayed here 3 nights for a wedding weekend. Great location, easy to check in. Roomy place with in walking distance of a great coffee shop. Few minute drive or short Uber to all the shops and restaurants.
It took us a while to figure out where the house was but other than that it was a great experience. Much better than a hotel. We used the kitchen every day and found the living room area to be just what we wanted.
We very much enjoyed the location. We walked to the Sunken Gardens and the Dali museum. We enjoyed Oak and Stone bar. The neighborhood felt safe and it was quiet enough. The bed was comfy.
Definitely would stay again! Nice owner, let us have our two cats with us, and was easy to contact.

Liked: Cleanliness
I liked the proximity to downtown, walking distance to a grocery store, cleanliness of unit inside, access to a washer/dryer, budget/price. I was disappointed with the lack of communication regarding check-in - specifically giving me the check in code late. Initially I was nervous about the neighborhood (like other reviewers) but it turned out to be fine during my stay. It would have been nice to have the screened porch cleaned off so it wasn't so dirty. I used it anyway after I cleaned off the table and chairs and it was fine. The A/C window units were loud - but you can turn the bedroom one off at night and the big main one in the kitchen keeps the place cool just fine through the night. For the price, I'd say this place was good. But keep in mind that it is an economy situation so right-size your expectations and you'll be very happy. Also, I found most of the other reviews of this property pretty spot-on and congruent with my experience.

Well stocked; responsive owner; great location near downtown
The apartment is on the second floor of a stand alone building above what might have originally been a garage but now serves as a laundry (accessible to tenants) and a storage area. There is only one apartment so tenants have the place to themselves. It sits on an easily accessible alley.
Dennis has the place well stocked and he responded to a couple of questions we had right away. The kitchen is full sized and although the place looks pretty old, it has been nicely refurbished. We liked the nearness to downtown restaurants, coffee shops and other attractions. A bonus is its nearness to the I-375 interstate on-ramp which quickly gets you on I-275 north or south.
I would have rated it 5 stars if it had been on the first floor. My wife and I are in our 60s and it was a bit of a chore taking luggage in and out. For the strong, this is a 5-star unit for the price.

Great Stay
It was very clean. Dennis was so accommodating when my niece joined us by bringing in a rollaway. You have your own parking spot at the bottom of the stairs. Super nice, friendly neighbors, great restaurant n bar recommendations. We would most definitely return. It had everything we needed plus more!
Thank You Dennis
Perfect for a place to crash. Little bit of a sketchy neighborhood and the entrance is in the alley but the place was clean and had everything you would need.

First experience of this type.
We had never stayed in a VRBO-type residence before; we'd always done the "hotel" thing, or camped, when we traveled somewhere. The apartment, it should be noted is a SECOND-FLOOR apartment. We did not see any indication of that in the write-up. That having been said, we found it to be everything we wanted. Close to activities and attractions, dining and entertainment, at a very favorable cost. Bill made several friends with the nearby locals, and Rae-Lynn loved the screened-in 2nd-floor veranda. The bed was VERY comfortable. Dennis, the landlord, was very friendly and accessible. Thankfully, we had very little need to contact him; only with minor questions as we acclimated ourselves to the place. Should we vacation here in this style again, we would not hesitate to avail ourselves of a Dennis Jones property.
