Best location in Gulfport, FL to see and experience the area.
I stayed here for 10 days and it was fantastic. The pool was very nice to relax by every night and the location is right in the heart of the fun Beach Street area of Gulfport. I am a member of Freedom Boat Club so I had access to three different locations to rent a boat from and travel from St. Pete to Anna Maria Island to spend my days. You are right across the street from sand volleyball courts and the beach. The owners Karen and Chuck could not be any nicer and they were wonderful to deal with. I would stay here again and already am looking to book a month here in the short future.

Cat Box Opening
I rented a VRBO for my group to gather in the unique area of Gulfport. My obligations lay in St Petersburg where Friends of Strays opened their new cat adoption center, The Cat Box. We thoroughly enjoyed the second floor accommodations. The book selection was excellent and the location offered many walkable restaurants, bars and shops.

Charming upstairs beach house
This 100 year old upstairs apartment is decorated with cheery colors and comfortable beds. The location is great because it is located near many restaurants and a 4 minute walk to the beach. The only drawback to this apartment is for two 72 year old ladies getting our luggage upstairs.

Cute and quirky
If you know and love Gulfport you’ll have a great time in this fun little beach cottage. The location is great for proximity to the beach, restaurants and shops but be prepared for the noise of the evening music and morning deliveries. The apartment is on the second floor and has access to an unheated pool and barbecue area. It has two bedrooms with limited storage and very soft foam-topped beds. Each room is fitted with its own air/heat for individual comfort. The little kitchen had everything we needed but there’s not much storage space. We loved the cozy living room with its many windows but struggled with the blinds and wished we could open the windows to catch the breeze. The decor is so cute and cheerful! Karen has done a great job making the old place over. She and Chuck were very welcoming and even helped carry our things upstairs. All in all, if you’re looking for a funky little rental in the heart of Gulfport then you’ll love this place. If you’re a 4-5 star resort type, this may not be for you.

Relaxing, Comfortable, and Fun!
The unit was bright, welcoming, and well furnished. The beds and bedding were SO comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Internet speed was excellent and it was nice to have Direct TV as well as some streaming channels. The pool was very quiet, a great place to sit and relax. Everything we needed was within walking distance, great food, coffee shops, lots of music, beach, boutiques, even a post office in one of the stores. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you so much for a wonderful 12 days!

Perfect Family Holiday
We had a wonderful time in Gulfport . The property was lovely ( true to the photos) and could not have been in a better location. We were within walking distance of all things in Gulfport, convenient to downtown St. Pete and a very short drive to the Gulf beaches. Karen and Chuck were the perfect hosts and we hope to stay again in the not so distant future. Highly recommended!

Perfect Location
Whatever you like is here in Gulfport. The area is always bustling with art, music and plenty of dinning choices. The area is a little funky with brightly coloured homes in what feels like Old Florida. Everyone, including the owners are very friendly. A nice relaxing place to stay

Hidden gem
This was by far our best vacation yet. We stayed for just over a month. Chuck and Karen are wonderful hosts. They are available at a moments notice. The cottage is older, but very clean. The location is fantastic. The pool is an added plus. We had it to ourselves most days. Our favorite things were sitting on the balcony watching people and the water. Sitting by the pool. Exploring Gulfport's many nice restaurants and pubs. Fishing almost every day from pier. Tuesday market on Beach Blvd. Daily music at pavilion 6 on the beach. Walking everywhere. I guess I could go on and on... If you are into biking, bring your bikes. Bike paths that go all over St Pete are only a couple miles away. Great stay, will be back!

A great vacation!
Just returned from a week at this cottage in Gulfport. What a fun community. The best kept secret in Florida, in my opinion. This cottage is adorable and adequately stocked. Washer and dryer on site a plus. The pool was an added bonus and we normally had it to ourselves. The owners are a delight and I felt like we were friends by the time we left. We highly recommend!!
