We got a very good price on this hotel for a one-night stay somehow, when everything else in St. Petersburg was way jacked up, probably for an event of one kind or another. I think the hotel may have been forced to do some renovations after a recent hurricane, but the upshot is that our room felt brand new, with a beachy vibe, and was absolutely spotlessly clean. It's very rare to have such a blemish free room at this price point, so... highly recommend this place!

I was in Room 6 at Carousel Motel for two nights. It looked as if it had been recently updated and painted. It was fresh and clean and had everything I needed. All the important things were there, worked well and were good quality. Comfortable queen bed, very nice shower, great little kitchen with all the utilities, TV, internet, etc. It is perfect for one or two people. (Yet since the sofa was a futon, it would have been possible for more to sleep there.) Judy is very friendly and helpful - and made me feel very welcome. I would come back here again.

Nice, quiet, clean. Literally 1min walk to the beach. Nice large area for cooking, large fridge and freezer. Restaurant is next door, 7-11 2/2 blk away. Great prices!!!!

Carousel did exactly what it needed to do. It was a clean, safe, simple place to use as a “base camp” for quick beach access, as well as access to restaurants and other attractions in the vicinity. We were there for a wedding, and the bride needed hands on support at short notice. This location was perfect for going up and down the area quickly. And the sunsets were easy to see!

The staff that we encountered was very nice. And it was an easy walk to beach and restaurants. All in all it was ok for the price, beds could have been more comfortable. We won’t be returning there as we like a place with an ocean view.

We loved staying at the Carousel Motel! It is clean, quiet and perfectly located within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, laundry mat and Del Bello Park. The room is spacious, comfortable and the kitchenette came in very handy.

Carousel was exactly as described and as shown in photos. The kitchenette and BBQ came in really handy to have easy meals in the room or on the garden patio. The location was perfect - 1min walk to the (extremely clean) beach and away from crowds/high-rises. Manager was on-site (big plus), answered questions quickly and made sure we were comfortable. The room was so cool, I wish we could have spent more time there. Had everything we needed!
