A Beach to Bay rental

The best of both worlds…Walking distance to the bay and Crescent Lake or can be at the beach in 15 minutes when driving…Minutes from downtown. It's located within Crescent Heights, one of the most desirable neighborhoods of St Petersburg.

This is a non smoking property consisting of a two-story duplex in a quiet residential neighborhood. A traveling executive lives in the upstairs unit.
Your downstairs unit is a two-bedroom, one-bath apartment with a separate room within in that is used as a office or third bedroom. The apartment and its office have separate entrances, one on 28th Avenue and 5th Street. The apartment is tastefully furnished and was recently updated with a new kitchen, quartz counter tops and a stainless steel appliance package. utilities and WI-FI internet are free (no add-nos or extra charges)
There is a delightful private courtyard shared by both apartments. It contains a propane BBQ grill and a gazebo with table and chairs for the enjoyment of the residents and their guests. It also includes a laundry room and half bath.
It's located within walking distance of Crescent Lake, Trader Joe's, The Fresh Market, and various eating establishments, as well as, other venues of entertainment and employment. It is ideally situated on a corner lot within the highly desirable Crescent Heights neighborhood of St Petersburg. It is three blocks from the bay and a fifteen minute drive to the beach.
This property is the jewel of the neighborhood, and we would therefore request that those wishing to be rambunctious, and inconsiderate of others, look elsewhere. Crescent Lake, the park, tennis courts, and several restaurants are nearby. Trader Joe's and Fresh Market are within a block of the property. It’s the perfect home base to come back to after going to the beach or exploring the many exciting places in and around St Petersburg.

Great location/ great host!
Very pleased with my week long stay. From the fresh cut flowers to the cleanliness of the apartment to the responsive of the owner, everything was excellent. Great neighborhood, location was quiet and unit was well equipped. Close to restaurants, downtown st pete, shopping and all that st pete has to offer. I would highly recommend.

Break from the cold in St Pete
For us, Alan’s property was perfect. It was close to family in Tampa, close to any needed services, easy to get to the beaches and walkable to the Bayshore and parks. An added benefit was the very nice neighborhood, which we walked daily around Crescent Lake. We also brought our small dog, who loved the area too.

Lovely stay
The property was a two story building with the VRBO being the first level. It had lots of room along with 2 bedrooms and we had access to a beautiful enclosed patio with a gazebo and comfortable outside chairs.The landlord lived above us and was very accomodating and responsive. The location was ideal for us: close to both Coffee Cup Bay and Crescent Lake and Trader Joe's!!

Great location.
Loved the property, the location could not be beat, and the host made us feel like we had the whole building to ourselves. The only reason for the 4 for accuracy of listing was the dishwasher did not work and had not been disclosed. We would definitely stay again. Washing the dishes was not a big deal for us. Thanks for a great stay.

The location of the property is very convenient. We could walk downtown to restaurants, parks & the Pier as well as grocery stores. Alan & Michelle were wonderful hosts and very responsive. The property is exactly as the photos depict. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the beautiful backyard. We had a wonderful time.

Beautiful backyard! No silverware rack in dishwasher. Lack of silverware, only 3 coffee mugs, very few drinking glasses, microwave over stove didn’t work. Kitchen table stools were uncomfortable. My 88 year old mother sat on the sofa and cried when she tried to get up. It was so low to the ground. Only 5 bath towels, two hand towels & one wash cloth. Closet doors would not close. Furnace room door was covered with cobwebs. Wasn’t cleaned behind the bathroom door. Beds were nice & comfortable. The place was not worth what we paid. I expect a lot nicer for that kind of money!!!!

Alan and Michelle were amazing hosts. They were very responsive and friendly. The property was clean and very well located. It was walking distance to Trader Joe's which my girlfriend and I loved! The downtown, beaches, and amazing breweries were all within a short drive from the property. The property had an office, a courtyard, and a washer and dryer located in the courtyard (the host provides quarters) which were all excellent additions that we used frequently. Overall it was an amazing stay and I would highly recommend it for a great vacation get away.

Very happy with the choice we made to spend our week vacation in St. Petersburg, Florida. Crescent Heights is a perfect location. Anything and everything within walking distance. We spent time in Treasure Island as well which is only about a 20 min drive from Beach to Bay where we stayed. Thank you, Alan Engman for the perfect spot to spend a week in Florida! You guys were very easy to communicate with and made our stay very comfortable! I'd recommend anyone to check this place out. If we are ever down in the area again I'll be looking at available dates for Beach to Bay at Crescent Heights!

My wife and I visited this property and it perfectly suited our needs. Everything was clean and orderly in the flat and with the landlord above us, we had no issues that could not be immediately resolved - though we had no issues! Alan and Michelle were wonderful hosts.
