"The hotel has a slightly unusual exterior—possibly a converted building from the old Manston airfield—but don’t let that put you off. Inside, the facilities are simple, but everything is immaculately presented and spotlessly clean. The rooms are very tidy and comfortable. What really stood out was the staff: friendly, helpful, and exceptionally accommodating. They even went out of their way to rearrange furniture to create a dog-friendly space for breakfast. A great stay if you value cleanliness and warm hospitality."

"The property was of an ideal size for us and our 15 months baby. It is very quite, surrounded by fruit trees orchards and farm fields. Despite arriving later than expected, Steve was present to welcome us and brief us on the house an surroundings. The cottage is in good condition, especially the kitchen and bathroom that look almost new. The kitchen is very well equipped. We even had the pleasant surprise of finding fresh milk, local apple juice and cross buns which were great for our first breakfast. Tina and Steve provided us with a travel cot bed, high chair and baby bath for our son. This was very helpful and we didn’t need to bring ours for the long weekend. They are many toys, games and books available to borrow in the laundry room, and for all ages. Even for adults with a badminton set. And lots of space outside to play. The colourful fishes in the pond (protected by a fence so safe for children) are huge and very feisty and noisy when eating and we enjoyed watching them. It is a very good base to explore the area with so many places to visit within a 30 minutes drive (Canterbury, Broadstairs etc…). We definitely recommend the place and won’t hesitate to go back."

"This was a lovely experience. The Dave bowie room is a sweet homage to his life and work. The hosts had some great stories to share. This B and B is a must if you want to experience something slightly different. The breakfasts were delicious. "

"Really had a great check in was meet by Simone who went out of her way to help us she had our drinks brought to us in the lounge and arranged for out luggage to be taken up to our room. We had a valentine meal and everyone of the staff was great "

"What a beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. Right next to Manston airport with all the RAF & Spitfire history to enjoy. A short drive from so many amenities and ever such easy access to the coast of Kent.The cottage has so much history and the pictures do not do it justice. The living room is much bigger than we expected! The cottage is in a beautiful little quiet courtyard with an easy drive round circle to get through the access archway. The turn in from the road is a little hidden but the host has installed multicoloured lights to help late arrivals find the opening easily. She also called us with very detailed directions and descriptions so we could find the cottage easily, which was really helpful.We were staying in the depth of winter and the cottage heating system did the job of keeping us warm very nicely. The bathroom is modern with plenty of hot water at all times. The kitchen was perfectly adequate for 2 people's needs and the oven cooked evenly and at the temperature we expected (sometimes it's hit and miss in cottages!) but it would be good if an additional oven shelf could be put in I think. One shelf was a bit of a juggle.We loved our stay at this cottage with the ever so warm welcome, wonderful information about the local area and the absolute peace and quiet of the location.I had to work from the cottage for half a day and the WiFi did not let me down, which was great.Highly recommend this accommodation. Simply lovely."
