"Our family tries to get together at least once each year, normally around the Christmas holiday. We (2 grandparents, 8 children and spouses, and 15 grandchildren ages 7 to 30) came to this Ft Recovery gem from Ohio, Illinois, New York, Los Angeles and Virginia. The main floor open kitchen, living room and eating spaces, game area in the lower floor, and fantastic adjacent building with full basketball/volleyball court and loft with wet bar allowed us to spread out and spend time in small groups (as we like to do) throughout our stay.In addition to lots of good food and games, we managed to work in a fine wine tasting by our son-in-law sommelier, line dancing in the gym led by a granddaughter, and a basketball challenge to game of PIG by the 78 year old grandfather to a 23 year old grandson; final result: GS PIGGY, GF PI.We already booked our next visit for December 2025."

"I was a little questionable when initially booking this room fun. I was very happy with the results. It was clean, the bedding was clean. It didn't. I don't have any bad odors. The bathroom was clean. Well worth the price I paid"

"The hotel is clean and well-run. The morning manager and the woman taking care of the breakfast bar were also really nice. My only mild complaint is that the EV chargers are only the Tesla type, and when I asked before booking the room if they had any of the universal J-1772 type, they did not understand the difference. (My car uses J-1772.) While it would have been nice to wake up to a full battery, I understand that this is all new to people who do not drive EVs, so I do not hold it against them. It would be helpful if the hotel web site and external travel booking sites (like Expedia) would provide this information so that EV drivers can factor charging opportunities into their decisions about where to stay."
