"The property was cause to where I needed to be. The room was comfortable, wonderful modern bathroom, with great shower. Staff couldn’t do enough to make my stay excellent. But the best part was the food in the restaurant. Fresh gush, beautifully presented, taste and flavour the best. Good inexpensive wine. Thank you to all. Will come back. "

"Fabulous hotel, lovely staff regardless of their role at the hotel. Conveniently 10 minutes taxi ride from airport. Room was outstanding and the shower/bathroom to die for. Gorgeous food, ate at hotel on three evenings and enjoyed the fresh fish on each occasion. Portions are big and it would be difficult to find better prepared food elsewhere on the Island. (We dined at the award winning La Nautique Restaurant on the 4th evening and it was on a par with that produced at La Barbarie) No.81 bust stop outside hotel with good service into St Peter Port if you wish not to drive. Certainly one of the most comfortable, welcoming hotels we have ever stayed in. We will be back and certainly hoping to stay at La Barbarie. Well done all, a credit.x"

"Having previously stayed at the hotel many years previously, we decided to book for a post-Christmas break and to attend the new year celebration. Our room was well looked-after by housekeeping with bed-making and turn-down provided. The pool was lovely and the gym well-equipped. The New Year's Eve event was very enjoyable with delicious meal and good local band. Breakfast was a delight with help yourself continental and full english on offer. Alternatively, one could order from the kitchen. Food at the Terrace bar was lovely too. Unfortunately the weather was not kind enough to really appreciate the grounds and outdoor hot tub. The staff could not be faulted. Our stay ticked all our boxes. Hopefully it will tick yours."

"Kay was SO friendly on reception. We loved the bar/restaurant. Only slight downside was you could hear the noise from the bar in our room. Earplugs sorted it though! Would definitely come back! Lovely hear6one of the waiters "July" sing!"

"The best self catering property we have had in 30 years, the towels and linen were changed regularly and the cottage was cleaned often too. The management were on site and quickly (in 2 minutes) responded on the one occasion we had a problem, supermarkets and a nice pub/restaurant within a 2 minute walk. A very well appointed and equipped property."
