"A rambling hotel in a huge colonial era building. Very spacious room but a bit low on natural light. Oddly quiet with few guests compared to Hotel La Residence across the street. Lots of beggars and men trying to sell you stuff right outside the hotel. My advice is to be polite but keep walking and they quickly peel off."

"This hotel is new, but needs a lot of improvement. First, there is no pool (being renovated) or restaurant. Second, my room had a smell that radiated from the bathroom…I’m guessing sewer gas from an improper sink trap. They put an incense lamp to cover it up. Also, mosquitos at night in a room without nets. Breakfast was decent, and the staff were pleasant, but I’d look for another option in Saint-Louis."
