The motel itself was fine, I was a little nervous leaving my car in the parking lot over night but everything was fine. Don’t go to the convenient store in front of the motel after dark, the guy was clearly fried out of his mind on something and just stared at us, very scary!

The staff were really nice, and the breakfast options were solid for the price (pancake and waffle maker, fruit (bananas, apples), eggs, sausages, yogurt, juice, coffee). I noticed that my bathroom door was broken (detached when I tried to open the door). The bed frame was also really creaky, so any movements like turning in the bed could be heard. I only stayed one night, and for the price, it was pretty great overall. Being somewhat close to the medical school was my plan, and this place did the job.

When we checked in the staff photocopied the front and back of my credit card. I saw this and made them give me the copy so I could destroy it. Absolutely unacceptable! Toilet leaked. Needed to use a printer and staff said they didn’t have one. Shower was luke warm.

I liked the convivence of the location. It was close to HWY 44 and the St. Louis Zoo. But I didn't have the best experience. The first room we went to was not clean, so we had to go down and get another room. The breakfast was limited and not restocked, my son had a splash of warm milk for his cereal. The fitness room water and treadmill wasn't working. The lamp by the bed was broken and the shower was loud and not working properly. I feel like the upkeep of the hotel could be better for the price.

Clean and comfortable. The fire alarm went off at 5am supposedly due to someone smoking so that was frightening and jarring and disruptive. Thankfully it was cleared within about 15 minutes but standing out in the cold (I took an uber there) was not fun. I couldn’t go back to sleep after.

I booked this property for my brother who is needing a hotel while he is staying near his hospitalized wife. I wanted to take the financial pressure off, so I booked it from another state online. They make the process quite difficult, and in the end required that we go through a third party vendor like expedia. Even when we did that, they had one clerk who demanded to see the credit card it was paid for with, which again, is in another state. I wish they would make that process a little easier considering how many people do online bookings as gifts these days.

We were staying for Opening Day. It looked very nice, and smelled of fresh paint. We turned the air conditioner on and sounded like s freight train going through the room. I called the front desk, the very friendly maintenance gentleman camebup right away. He quickly determined it needed to be replaced. Sure enough, he camebup with another and replaced it. That was so nice. Everything was going great until the next morning when wevtook our showers. Not hot water. I could get hot water from the sink faucet, but not the shower. Friday morning one ofbusvtookbour shower early. They had hotvwater. I took minevlater, NO hot water. That definitely did not help. You could herebpeoplevwalking abovebyou, the shower had ahigh pitched squeal, you coild hear the others as well.

When I arrived to check in I was asked to pay $10 to park in their lot and I was charged a $150 deposit to ensure I didn’t smoke in the room. They charged my credit card for the deposit before I even got the key to the room. I’m not a smoker. These were hidden charges. I wouldn’t have stayed at this hotel had this been disclosed prior to me paying for my reservation. The water pressure was extremely low and the toilet was difficult to flush. I will not stay here again.
