Book your 5⭐️ stay in this spacious 2 bdrm/1 ba suite in the desirable and safe DeBaliviere neighborhood. Only a 2 block walk from Forest Park & its Metrolink train stop, your group will have access to everything the city has to offer. This 100 year-old historic home is only blocks from Forest Park, the site of the 1904 World's Fair Exposition and 1904 Summer Olympics.

Unload your car then collapse on the comfy couch for an evening of movies on our Roko TV. Enjoy a quiet night sleep in your king-sized bed. Wake up well-rested and brew a cup of joe before heading out to explore the Lou.

"Suites in the Lou" offers 6 private short term rental suites in one building - great for a large group which may want to all stay in one place. Walkable to Forest Park, the Metrolink train stop, the Delmar Loop, restaurants, and shopping. This 3rd floor 2-bedroom/1 bath suite sleeps 6 guests. Enjoy a king bedroom for you, two more guests on the queen bed in bedroom#2, and two more on the queen-sized sofa sleeper in the living room.

A Metrolink station is conveniently located in DeBaliviere Place. You can hop on the Skinker/DeBaliviere stop and head all the way to the Lambert International Airport or right downtown. How to Find our Building: Because we are on a dead-end street, you can only access our address coming from the East. There is no direct access from DeBaliviere Avenue.

Gated Parking: Access to the gated parking lot is only available after you arrive and check into your unit. A remote to the gate and a key to your back door entrance will be waiting for you on the kitchen counter. In the meantime, feel free to find a parking spot out front on the street.

Great location and accomodations
My family and I stayed for 4 nights, and it met our needs and expectations perfectly. The location is a few blocks from Forest Park where we spent 2 of our 4 days- seeing the zoo, walking, visiting the museums. It is also a short drive into the city. Beds were comfortable, towels were soft and kitchen accessories were a bonus. We enjoyed our stay.

Clean, comfortable and safe stay!
Very cute and comfortable place for being such an old building. Lots of character! We felt safe in the neighborhood with lots of college students and dog-walkers around. Everything felt very clean. The updated air conditioning worked great! We were on the top floor so it was very quiet!

We had a great stay. What a cute, cozy apartment in a great part of St Louis. The neighborhood was quiet & close to the metro for ease of visiting St Louis sites. Would definitely stay here again & recommend to anyone staying in St Louis.

Great unit, great location!
I rented this unit for a 30 day stay and i am glad I did. The unit is very comfortable with all the amenities you could ask for. Loved the gated parking lot, super comfortable bed and living room. I spend a few beautiful days walking through Forest Park even in January and part of February. The owners were very accommodating and arranged for me to extend my stay for a day. This is a great unit.

I really like this place. I would happily stay here again the next time I’m in St. Louis. Location great: quiet neighborhood and convenient to Metrolink, Forest Park, Central West End, and U City Loop. As they note, you have to walk up two flights. Older building; apartment has a bit of a DIY feel to it. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Plenty of parking in the back. (The entrance to the parking is on the adjacent side street; that wasn’t immediately obvious to me.)

Great Location
Great location on a quiet street. We rode the nearby Metrolink to Busch Stadium for a Cardinals game but used our vehicle the rest of the weekend to explore different areas of STL City and County. The gated parking lot was a bonus. We liked that there was a grocery store within walking distance. We enjoyed the views from the third floor, but if you aren't a fan of stairs, request a lower level apartment in the building.

Excellent Stay
A visit to my granddaughter at college led us to the Suites in the Lou. It was perfect for our 6 night stay. Nicely furnished, comfortable beds and a fullly equipped kitchen all added to making it a wonderful place for a short term stay. A bonus was the neighborhood. Located on a residential street with leafy trees dressed in fall colors, people walking dogs and no traffic it was a quiet, peaceful place. Libby, the manager, was helpful and quick to respond to our questions. All good.

Great Stay!!
We were arriving early, the owners let us check in early. We noticed the metro was around the block if we needed to use it, we drove into town but found the option to be very convenient. Our car felt safe as it was inside a gated parking lot. Our suite was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We spent most of our time exploring town instead of using their amenities, however we did use the free WIFI. And we loved they had fans in the rooms, we like white noise when we sleep.

A great stay at a great place to stay
There wasn't a single bad detail concerning my recent trip to St Louis and stay at this property. It's located in a wonderful, centrally located neighborhood - quiet, minimal traffic, no problems with parking. The unit seems to be well insulated from the other ones in the building. You know exactly what you're going to get from the pictures because they are spot on accurate - what you don't/can't see in those pics is that the bed and bedding are wonderfully comfortable. Communication was always swift, professional, and personal and the price couldn't be beat. This will be the first place I check for a rental the next time I head to St. Louis.

Excellent location just north of Forest Park
We had an excellent stay in the 3rd-floor unit for 3 nights. Being in an older building, the unit has been renovated but still has a lot of the original woodwork and floors. There was plenty of room for my wife and I to rest and relax after spending time at Forest Park, the Arch. Aquarium, City Museum, and the St. Louis Zoo! The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed. Access and entry were a breeze and there was plenty of parking in the gated lot. Libby kept in touch with us throughout the stay. There had been some bad weather and she let us know that it could impact our plans. I really appreciated that extra touch. We may come back again to catch some of the attractions that were impacted by the weather and would love to stay with Suites in the Lou Again!

Good location for getting around to locations all over St. Louis. Walkable to metro link stop and parts of Forest Park! Be aware if you have issues with stairs as our unit was up several flights of stairs but overall a very clean quiet and convenient place to stay! Owners were very helpful and easy to work with! Replied quickly to any messages.

Great stay!
Came up for. Quick weekend getaway before school started. The apartment was perfect! Great size for 4 of us. Nicely decorated with all the needed amenities! Plenty of soft towels and great water pressure! Beds were perfect with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Neighborhood is nice with a beautiful tree lined street! Didn’t even need the gated parking! Would stay again!

Comfortable & Reminiscent
. . . of the first apartment in which I lived in Chicago. 3rd floor, 1 bedroom. You get a feel for what old neighborhood living was like & still is. Only exception is the gated parking! That beats hunting for a spot on the street for sure! My suite was bright, clean, and nicely decorated with a velour sofa, glass-topped dining table, attractive area rugs, TV over the fireplace, and a comfortable king-sized bed. (A second full bed in the sunny front room can sleep more people or be used for enjoying a late afternoon nap as the sun sets.) Even the dishes in the adequately equipped small galley kitchen were cute. The shower & water pressure was great. If only the exposed hardwood floors could tell the stories of a century . . . . I felt very safe with the clever new door lock on the interior entrance door.
