Villa Capiz is perched atop Gift Hill with gorgeous views of Great Cruz Bay, Chocolate Hole, St. Thomas, Pillsbury Sound and surrounding islands. Amazing Home with Amazing Views
We had a great time at this home. We ended up switching locations, then also had to extend our stay due to traveling issues. The property managers and owners were absolutely amazing and accommodating. The house was super clean and in amazing condition. The house has a very cool design and decorations and the view and pool area are amazing. We would definitely stay here again.

50th birthday
We celebrated my husbands 50th with his sisters and their husbands. The house has an amazing view! The house/living area wasn’t air conditioned but had a breeze with the doors and windows open. Bedrooms were comfortable with a private AC unit. Aaron and Robyn are great with answering any questions. We will definitely be back again!!!

We had a wonderful week at Villa Capiz. The house met all our needs for a week get-away with our three adult children. Great to come back from day excursions exploring the island to jumping in the pool and cooking nice dinners together while enjoying gorgeous sunsets. Beautiful home.

Memorable stay at Villa Capiz
Villa Capiz was just as advertised. The house and grounds are beautiful. The location was perfect...10 minutes from all restaurants and shopping. The beach chairs and coolers were appreciated too. Robyn was flexible to meet us earlier when our travel plans changed and responsive with any questions. We will stay here again on our next visit to St. John. Thank you!

Amazing
What an absolutely perfect place to stay! Not only is the Villa itself gorgeous and functional but the view is beyond stunning. There was an island wide blackout for our first 2 days and the solar panels and Tesla walls kept everything running perfectly, and the property managers were in touch with us the entire time keeping us updated. We didn't even notice because we were out enjoying the island, and when we were at the villa we were just caught up in the stunning view and beautiful pool. We will absolutely be renting Villa Capiz again when we take our next trip to the island!

Incredible Stay in St. John
Breathtaking views from this gorgeous home on St. John. Perfect for a family or several couples, 3 well appointed bedrooms. Cooked breakfast every day in the gourmet kitchen and made use of the pristine grill with a sunset view of St. Thomas to the west. Very large pool for the island plus a hot tub that was great in the evening. Nicely appointed home with landscaping that made it feel like a private oasis. It will be difficult to return to St. John and not stay at Villa Capiz.

Villa Capiz is far and away exceeded our expectations. The house has everything you need and is better than pictured if that's possible. Endless hours spent outside on the beautiful pool deck with some of the best views I've had while staying on STJ. We will be back!

Den and kitchen not air conditioned. I understand that is common in St John but humidity and heat was very uncomfortable most of the time. Power outages occurred during our stay for most of the week. Managers did their best to use backup solar to help. We turned off ac when we were out to conserve. Even with ac on at night could not cool bedroom below 76.

Million Dollar View
This property is every bit as advertised. This villa delivers great sunset views and views of St Thomas. It's convenient to Cruz Bay and every other beach on this end of the island. The Villa is well stocked with beach chairs, toys, coolers and more to save you the hassle of bringing or buying. A special thanks to Tori and Keelan who are the best hosts on the island! They very kindly had our place fully stocked and saved us a trip to the grocery store so we could arrive and grill the first night in. Thank you!

Absolutely beautiful, the hilltop view is breathtaking. Had everything we needed for our day to day living, did not do any cooking, so can’t address that, but many options for dining nearby. An added bonus was the beach chairs, beach towels and coolers, used them daily. You feel isolated because of all the foliage around, but there actually houses all around, not a bad thing because everyone is quiet and respectful. Loved the pool and the many options for outdoor seating, upstairs and downstairs. The only thing that gave us a problem was the area immediately adjacent to the entrance was gravel and difficult to turn vehicles around, but otherwise an awesome property and would not hesitate to stay there again!

I don’t even know where to begin. Villa Capiz is a gorgeous home. The views are breathtaking! I honestly saw the most beautiful sunset of my life one evening. The house has so many beautiful touches. The pool is wonderful. The kitchen is fully stocked. We cooked the entire stay and never lacked any type of utensil, serving bowl, pot, etc. we also used the grill one evening. Lauren and Tori were available for all of our questions. We will definitely be returning to this special place. Thank you for sharing your home.

Fantastic Home!
Although it's been almost 2 months since our St John vacation at Villa Capiz, the villa still shines bright in my mind. Looking out at the vistas from the decks is an experience unmatched on the island. This property is unique and the attention to detail is evident everywhere you turn. The large landscaped yard keeps everything very private and makes it easy to appreciate the tropical island atmosphere. Although we didn't bring our kids on this trip, they will come next time and they'll really enjoy the pool and hot tub. This trip was 2 couples, and there are 2 master bedroom suites, perfect. The third bedroom is on the upper level, as is a third bathroom, and the house can easily accommodate 6 guests. I can't say enough about how beautiful this property is, and how much we enjoyed our time here!

Outstanding Property!
Just returned from a family vacation to St. John and wanted to share our fantastic experience at Villa Capiz. The house istself is spacious and well appointed, and the grounds are amazing. Peter met us at the ferry and took us up to the house and gave us a detailed tour of the property, went over important information about the area, and even gave us some great restaurant recommendations. Peter even connected with us at the end of the week with helpful information about the airport, ferry schedules, etc. Thanks Peter! Lots of great features about the house but the views steal the show, the sunsets are breathtaking! This house is great for families and couples, and makes a great starting point for your daily adventures on St. John. I highly recommend this property, and hope to be back soon.

Villa Capiz.....a True GIFT on Gift Hill
Start to finish, there was NOTHING unpleasant about our stay here ! The owner Debbie was a pleasure to deal with. She was patient with my unpredictable last minute travel plan (changes) and responded quickly and friendly to all my questions and emails. The house manager Nancy was equally pleasant and helpful during our stay. As for the property..... What can I say ? It really is paradise ! The house had everything we needed. The view is absolutely STUNNING ! St.John is one of my favorite places on the planet, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was a much needed vacation and I would not have changed a thing. Thanks Deb for another GREAT vacation memory.

Beautiful Property With Spectacular Views!
Villa Capiz is a wonderful, tropical paradise with incredible views of St. Thomas and the sunsets. Robin/Aaron, our hosts, were outstanding as they communicated with us prior to our arrival and were very helpful from start to finish. Aaron met us at the ferry dock in Cruz Bay, took us to the jeep rental place, took our luggage to the villa and gave us a detailed overview of everything regarding the villa. The villa is extremely nice, has a large, refreshing pool and the kitchen is fully stocked. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the restaurants and beaches. The beach chairs, towels and cooler were much appreciated and an added bonus. The only con which prevented this from being a 5 star rating is the two king size beds in the lower rooms. One mattress is okay and fairly comfortable to sleep on, but the other one sags badly in the middle and needs replacing. Our friends could not sleep on it and moved to the smaller room upstairs with a Queen bed after the first night. The birds in the trees are also pretty loud all night, but I put a fan on high by the bed to drown out the noise. Overall, Villa Capiz is a beautiful place which we truly enjoyed, but we would likely not stay there again unless the mattresses on the two K/S beds are replaced.

Truly a wonderful home
My husband and I are regular visitors to St. John and big fans of the island. We rented Villa Capiz for this last trip and had a really wonderful experience. The property is lovely and well-maintained, the beds comfortable (very important to us!), and the pool is arguably one of the nicest on the island. In addition to the owner being incredibly attentive and pleasant to work with, local property managers Peter and Gail made everything about our trip more enjoyable. Their recommendations included some of the nicest (and our favorite) restaurants, beaches, snorkeling spots, and hiking trails. Getting to know them was as enjoyable as any other part of the trip, which was a nice bonus--we feel as thought we made some great new friends and look forward to seeing them again on our next visit. We have stayed in many properties all over the world, and it was nice to have so many little details taken care of. Not having to worry about buying paper towels, or dish soap, or aluminum foil, or things like salt and pepper were little touches that you don't find everywhere -- and which is a reason people come back again and again. We can't recommend this property and the experience it will provide you and your family or group more -- book it now, while you can!

Villa Capiz was truly amazing, even better than the pictures!
Villa Capiz was perfect for our family of 6 with three adults and three kids ranging from 8-13. The following are the highlights: 1. House inside: the layout was perfect with bedrooms accessible from inside and outside on the lower level. Bathrooms accessible from inside and outside by pool very convenient. Great sitting areas and kitchen and all the amenities needed. Great views from all rooms. 2. Outside: best part of house. Multiple decks and hangout areas on upper level And lower level. Pool was huge and hot tub was excellent. Used the grill a couple times which was great. The views were amazing. Sunset every night right in front of us. 3. Location: simple 10 minute drive to town and another 10 or so to the north shore beaches. Multiple routes to get to house. Perfect location for the views and close enough to drive into town for dinner. About 5 minute drive from supermarket. 4. Management: Peter was great and met us at boat and got us to rental car and house. Showed us around and checked in through out the week. We had no issues with property. Gail was great before answering our questions. 5. Other: had rafts, noodles, chairs, coolers, snorkel gear. Everything we needed for out beach days so we did not have to rent. Overall Saint John was amazing and Villa Capiz was the perfect house to come back to after a day at the beaches or a boat trip. We can't wait to come back!

Everything was perfect at Villa Capiz! The house was filled with everything we needed for a stress-free rental. Beach towels, coolers, beach chairs, even stainless steel cups with lids! The owners were super helpful leading up to the week and throughout. They have contacts for everything! Taxis, boat rentals, jeep rentals… you name it. We will absolutely be back as soon as we can!

Beautiful views
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Villa Capiz. The views are stunning. I agree with other visitors-the pictures don’t do this property justice. The villa is located approximately 10 minutes from Cruz Bay. The owners have put so much thought and care into this property and it shows. I loved the Indonesian decor. I found the beds very comfortable, although I like a soft bed. We fell in love with St John and will definitely be back. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.
