Huis Aan Zee (House by the Sea) has everything a couple or couples could ask for, even your own pool! We have onsite back up power in the event of power outages.

The entire property is solely for your use. There are no shared spaces whatsoever and therefore the villa is a very private oasis! The posted rate covers up to two guests. Additional guests will incur a charge of $70 per person per night. Huis Aan Zee accommodates a maximum of four guests. If you require the second bed and have only two guests, a $300 setup fee applies. For groups of three or four, the standard $70 per person, per night fee applies, with no bed setup fee.

Huis Aan Zee books quickly so search your intended travel dates or consider looking at some alternative available dates. You will not be disappointed to experience all St. John has to offer with Huis Aan Zee as your homebase!

The views can't be matched as Huis is one of the highest homes in the subdivision, looking out as far as the British Virgin Islands and beyond. Huis on Seagrape Hill allows you the privacy you expect on vacation.

Huis Aan Zee is a contemporarily furnished island escape with pristine views of Coral Bay, Hurricane Hole, Drake's Channel, the British Virgin Islands and beyond. The salt water pool offers up great ocean views and provides the ultimate experience in relaxation. The home is located just minutes from the best beaches on the island, grocery stores, and local dining options. Come explore the history of St. John while enjoying modern amenities such as Smart TV, high speed internet, air conditioning throughout and state-of-the-art chef’s kitchen features stainless steel Kitchen Aid appliances, quartz countertops, and a large farmhouse sink. Meals can be enjoyed indoors or outdoors on the beautiful teak table adjacent to the pool. The splendor of the Caribbean sunrise is only outdone by the comfort of the King-size Serta iComfort bed and an oversized shower with sitting bench. The Master Suite (on the lower level of the home) also includes personal amenities such as Smart TV, microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker. For those booking with three or four total guests, the main level of the home provides a Queen-size Tri-Fold Murphy bed with Memory foam mattress (additional fees apply), along with a private bath with a stunning outdoor shower.

The laundry room is only provided for guests extending their stay beyond 3 nights (Sorry, no exceptions!). Fortunately, there are three laundromats on island. The closest laundromat has two bars/restaurants nearby that you can easily walk to while your laundry is washing.

We provide two bath towels, two hand towels, and two washcloths per person. Beach chairs, a cooler and beach towels are also provided.

A 4x4 or AWD rental vehicle, preferably a Jeep Wrangler or Ford Bronco, is required to stay at Huis Aan Zee due to its moderately steep mountain location. Once your reservation at the home is confirmed, you will want to begin to connect with vehicle rental companies on St. John to secure your vehicle. There is no Uber or Lyft on the island of St. John and safari taxis will not traverse the side roads on the island. We recommend Courtesy Jeep Rental or any of the rental companies at the airport.

Please note that we have a NEST camera in the driveway/parking area. It does not infringe on your privacy and is solely used to monitor parked vehicles.

The property's water supply comes from the home's cistern, as city and well water are not available for homes in the mountains of St. John. It also has a well-maintained septic system that functions efficiently. Water is a scarce commodity on the island, so while you should use it for your comfort, please be mindful to conserve and avoid unnecessary waste.
