Great Stay in Coral Bay
Our stay was perfect. Loved staying in Coral Bay and exploring from there. House was clean and all we needed. Pool area was nice and our own deck fit the bill. Bedding was comfortable, house was very clean, and ac worked fine.

Perfect little quiet cottage
We loved the cottage. It was the perfect base from which to explore the St John beaches away from busy Cruz Bay. The cottage had everything we needed and was immaculate. The pool was a delight after a hot day at the beach. We highly recommend!

The tranquility of "Garden Eden" and the views from the porch was what made it for us. The locals were always pleasant and engaging. Cannot say enough about all the different beaches. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you.

Great secluded stay
We loved this property! The property manager was great with communicated the whole time. Especially helping us find the property which was on a side street with a really steep hill (VI driving is thrilling). The actual property has an amazing pool with a view and huge shower. Which was great for cooling off in the hot climate. Also, this place was out of the way - as in there wasn't much to do within walking distance and it is on the "quieter" side of the island. However, we loved that as we could enjoy the birds and frogs singing! It was a great relaxing place for a tropical getaway.

Wonderful and welcoming stay
My friend and I came to the USVI to work with our rescue partners at the Humane Society of St Thomas. I have stayed in many places in the past but this location is my favorite. Lorraine, Hannah, Bob and Kaimani (sweetest pup) are such lovely and gracious hosts❤️ The location is gorgeous and private but still close to wonderful beaches, trails, shops and restaurants. Definitely go visits the beautiful rescue donkeys at the Carolina Corral sanctuary right down the road!! I am an ocean fanatic but the salt water pool on the property is perfect for a quick dip when it’s hot also!! Highly recommend and will be back very soon!! You come there as strangers and leave as friends!! Mahola 🌺

Do not rent the car offered through the VRBO
A terrible experience with the partner of Ms. Jones. In brief, as of today I have not receive my refundable deposit for the rental of the car. Ms. Jones works with May De Leon so you get the combo of rental property and car which seems very convenient when planning vacation. They do not tell you that you may be scam and they will keep your deposit alleging that the car has sand or that you were x short on gas. You signed a contract with many clauses, one of them is that upon returning the car you will get your money back but that did not happened to me. they asked you to pay via paypal for the car. When you arrive at the island, they left the car in a public parking lot with the key inside, no one is there to inspect the car with you. Then 2 days before returning the car 2 light warnings came out regarding the engine and the pressure in the tires. I sent a text to both women and May De Leon stated you can drive as long as the car does not get over heated. I am driving the car with my 9 year old son. I replied, I can returned or exchanged the car and there was no response. The day I left, I was asked again to leave the car in a public parking lot with the key inside. I filled out the tank ,clean the sand as much as I could because I do not have a portable vacuum cleaner. After 2 days of not getting my refund i got a text of this woman saying that they are keeping my money. Car business is not registered. Corroborated by local consumer affairs. Be aware.

Amazing!
Relaxing stay away from it all! The cottage was spotless and well appointed (snorkels, beach towels, chairs, drink cups, coffeemaker and fridge). The AC in the bedroom was perfect and the king bed very comfortable. Drinking coffee on the balcony watching the donkeys, iguanas, and chickens made for a great morning. You can see Lime Out from the kitchen and walk to Rhumb Lines (Skinnylegs was temporarily closed). Lorraine was a wonderful host and made great beach recommendations. It’s a little trek over to Coral Bay but we’re so glad we stayed on this side of the island and at this place!

Great Rental In Coral Bay
My wife and I spent four nights at the Garden of Eden. We choose Coral Bay to be away from the masses on the other side of the island. The cottage is small, but clean, updated, and had everything we needed. The kitchen is small, but it worked fine for breakfast and a few dinners. Access to nearby restaurants is a 5-7 minute walk or a very short drive depending on the particular restaurant. Coral Bay is pretty, but is not the super crystal clear turquoise blue of other areas on the island and does not have a beach. That being said, the view from the deck is still very nice. We used the pool almost everyday for a short period of time. It has small pools with two infinity edges. It is very nice with lots of lounge chairs and a small end table for drinks. From the deck of the pool, there is a view of another bay in the distance. Although it was never cold when we used the pool, the sun was gone by about 5:00pm. (This is probably vary by the time of year) We enjoyed being away from the crowd of Cruz Bay. Access to the most popular beaches like Trunk Bay and Cinnamon Bay is easy and only about 20 minutes away. (Keep in mind driving on St John is slow. It can take 20 minutes to go 3 miles) Our cottage has a nice fan and A/C, which we rarely used. The breeze from open windows worked great to keep the place cool. If you want to get away from the crowds and stay in the beautiful Coral Bay area, I highly recommend checking this place out.

Perfect place to stay!
We stayed at Hannah and Lorraine's beautiful "Caribbean" house for almost a week with our teenage daughter. It was perfect for us! The house is lovingly decorated, clean and comfortable. It was our first visit to St John and we didn't have time to really plan anything. Lorraine really took care of us! She basically gave us suggestions every day regarding where to eat and which beaches to visit. We wanted to snorkel a lot and see a variety of beaches and undersea creatures -- Lorraine sent us to different beaches each day that were all close by, but all so different! She was like our own personal vacation planner! We found that we really prefer the Coral Bay side of the island over the Cruz Bay side, so we chose to stay near the house for all of our outings and meals out. Our daughter loved the pool at the house and the donkeys and goats that roam around. It was a wonderful introduction to St John! One thing I have to mention -- when we first arrived on St John and attempted to get our reserved Jeep, we found that the rental office was closed and no one was around. We texted Lorraine and she immediately helped us out. After traveling for so many hours, it was a relief to have her there looking after us. Thank you Lorraine!!

Perfect Getaway
Clean, and great view, pool was soo cute - everything down to the smallest details are perfect. Great gardening, little touches of local coffee, beach chairs, a cooler but what sets this place from all others we have stayed in (in our 20 years of coming to St. John) is the hospitality of Hannah and Lorraine. Definitely our new favorite!

Great Coral Bay Stay!
My wife and I stayed here for the second half of our honeymoon, and we will definitely be back! The property is beautiful, comfortable, and walking distance to Rhumb Lines for some of the best food on the island. The property owners are fantastic too. We'd go back just to hang with them, honestly!

Lorraine was terrific host- all questions and requests were answered right away. Adorable cottage with very comfortable bed. Donkeys, chickens and goats abound. Water pressure low but I assume that's the same all over. Coral Bay is the more natural, quieter side of St. John .25 min drive with hairpin turns . We drove to a different great beach every day. if you choose to go the Cruz Bay for more restaurants, etc. Starfish in Cruz bay is the market most like mainland US.

Unbelievable Stay!
I have no idea how to put into words how amazing our stay was! If I could rate this stay 100+ stars I would! The Caribbean Cottage (and the entire property) had us at a loss for words. This was my 5th stay on the island and by far my favorite!! Hannah & Lorraine are super hosts! Both of them were incredibly welcoming and immediately made us feel right at home. The cottage is cozy, elegant, and romantic all wrapped up into one place. Don't get me started about the VIEWS!! So gorgeous! You can lay in bed and see a view of Coral Bay right in front of you through the glass front door. Not to mention the entire property is surrounded by a lush garden of colorful and local plants. I seriously cannot say enough great things about this little cottage. My fiance and I are already planning our trip back here next year!!
