"If you're looking for a comfortable bed, clean room and can tolerate a drizzle of a shower (even after they sent someone to fix it), this is a great place to stay. Safe, steps from a beautiful clean beach with chairs and umbrella included, nice and helpful staff. Good restaurant and bar onsite, late breakfast or lunches til 6, lots of options nearby too. The restaurant is currently being built but my husband and I checked out the local markets close by and found lots of food to make ourselves with fresh eggs, fruit and bread. There are tons of bus stops that can take you all over the island if you dont want to rent a car, if you ask the bus drivers they will always either take you to where you need to go, or point you in the best...

"A very comfortable place to stay, right by many good restaurants and cafes in the popular St Lawrence Gap area. The hotel had very kind and helpful staff and we enjoyed our stay!"

"The place is amazing, booked on line without really knowing, turned out to be a real find. The owners and manager were there to help and provided a fantastic experience. The pictures cannot show the amazing patio and views when walking into the property nor the relaxed feeling that is immediately felt by the view of the blue water and palm trees off the back patio. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get away. "

"The shuttle to and from the beach was great. We were close to the beach and many dining options but set back in the quiet green space of the golf course with the opportunity to enjoy a nice cup of coffee on our balcony and watch the roosters and the monkeys in the morning."

"Nice place for the money with a small but lovely pool. Christine gave us the keys for the room and she was great during our stay, always available (9 to 5)."

"The view was beautiful, a peaceful place; the staff was friendly and courteous. It's not hot on this side; it's very breezy. The internet was not good for using the TV, and the stove sometimes wouldn't turn on. The reception guy came a few times to help us. Those two things could be improved."

Amazing child-free getaway

"I travel a lot, both for business and pleasure and this hotel exceeded all of my expectations. The room (307) was enormous, clean and the bed ultra comfortable. I like that we had both aircon and ceiling fan. Three-way French door to the balcony had a mosquito nets, and the hot tub worked! But what was the best was the food. Absolutely best AI food I had in any resort I have been. Great variety and lots to choose from. Smoked marlin was absolute top. Staff was very friendly, cocktails yummy and the beach was a picture-perfect! The hotel was getting sunbeds and parasols to the beach daily and they also came to the beach to take our bar orders and brought it to us! I hardly stay anywhere twice, but I will definitely come back to Abidah."

"Our stay at the Soco was wonderful. Service was top notch and pampering. The food was outstanding. We especially enjoyed the convenience of the pool and ocean for lounging and dipping. Convenient location and staff from checkin to checkout was great - special shout out to the bar staff - Michelle, Shane, and Zach. The food service staff competent and friendly, especially Reina. The Chef deserves special praise for her outstanding meals.Additional praise for Michelle, who also connected us to the city, activities in the area and a tour around the island. It does need to be said that having a fourth floor room with no elevator will be an issue for anyone with mobility issues."
