Set within Chy An Porth, is this visit England gold star award property in a recently renovated structure built by Virginia Woolf’s father in the 1800’s. With magnificent ocean views over Porthminster Beach, close to the train and bus station, this lovely flat has an unmatched location with assigned parking right in front.This prized "In Town" location on The Terrace is described as the “perfect beach getaway” with the finest upscale shopping, art galleries, casual or fine dining - just steps from your front door.

Step from the living room onto the front balcony and you are immediately taken by the spectacular ocean views in this open concept modern home. The azure blue waters, unmatched and premiere "in town" location are just the beginning. The home has top of the line appliances and features throughout – no detail was overlooked. The Master Suite has a king size bed, ensuite shower, and a television. The guest room has two twin beds that can be converted into a super king. The family bathroom features a shower and separate tub, both bathrooms come with luxury hotel quality, soaps and lotions. Additional features include heat, washing machine only, with a heated drying rack available. wifi, Sky TV, linens and towels, and onsite parking at no additional cost.The apartment is totally smoke free, even on the balcony ,out of respect for our property and neighbours.
Across the road is the The Harbour Hotel, with a restaurant ,spa and gym and indoor swimming pool, that you can pay to use by the day. You will not have to try to find the ocean view in this apartment, it is all over, from every room.

This property is even more beautiful than the pictures! Everything is high end and comfortable. Location is great.. just up the hill from the train station. Helen, the host, and Claire, the manager are both awesome. The view is beautiful. It was everything we had hoped for and more!

My husband, myself and 2 kids recently stayed at this place during our visit to cornwall. I was looking for something quiet and peaceful, luxurious and comfortable and definitely something with a beach view - apartment 4 was exactly what I had hoped for! The view of the sea from the loving room is breathtaking and its so close to the beach that it almost feels like you are on the beach. You can hear the waves crashing at night and just looking out at the sea at night was just soo utterly peaceful! The interior design is posh artistic and just perfect. The apartment was impeccably clean and the linen fresh and comfortable. There were age appropriate games for the kids and a reasonable collection of books as well. This place is just a fe minutes from Porthminster beach and Porthgwidden is only a 5 min drive or so. Helen the host was very easy to contact and she was super quick to respond. She made single beds up for my kids which was very thoughtful of her. Claire the manager was very helpful. She let us know the morning of our check in that the room was ready way before we were meant to check and on the day of check out it was very thoughtful of her to let us know we didn’t need to rush to check out and could take our time! Little things but it just goes to show how welcoming and wonderfully hospitable they are. Thank you for making our trip just perfect ! Needless to say we highly recommend this place to all! We will be back x Mashfika/Tanvir and the kids :)

Beautiful apartment with an amazing view
The pictures of the apartment and the view looked spectacular and it more than lived up to it. Despite it being winter, the chairs set up in the window allow you to sit and admire the constantly changing ocean. We loved it and can't wait to come back.

Comfortable luxury apartment with the added bonus of a parking space right outside. Convenient for the beach and St Ives and to just drive out and explore. Chic design with a real flair for decor. Helen was excellent at responding, despite being abroad she still called us straight away which we really appreciated. We would definitely choose to stay here again. We found one of the beds much more comfortable but it is a personal choice of how soft you like a bed and we are extremely fussy so it’s a big plus that we were happy and sleeping so well.

Fabulous apartment in a brilliant location
We loved our stay in this fabulous apartment. It’s brilliantly located in the heart of St Ives, and has the added bonus of its own parking space. The apartment feels spacious and airy, was spotlessly clean and very well appointed. Best of all are the views over the bay, which are truly spectacular. Helen, the owner, and Claire, the housekeeper, were efficient and delightful to deal with and we were very sorry to leave after just 5 days. Thank you both for a welcome and much-needed break - we will be sure to recommend your beautiful apartment to friends and family and hope to return someday!

This apartment is beautifully furnished, impeccably clean, light, and spacious. It's less than a ten minute walk to town , five minutes to a grocery store , and three minutes to the bus stop and taxi. Best of all there's a private parking place for you in front and the smartest thing to do is to leave your car there . You won't do better than staying in this house, you even hate to leave to go outside.

We All Loved our stay in St Ives, and Helen's apartment was faultless in all ways, Location was excellent, I was able to go for my swim each morning just across the road to the beach, and harbour was just a short walk, Even though we left Apartment as we thought in good time giving us 6 hours to get to Bristol Airport we missed our flights the traffic was terrible, it took us 7 hours, but no fault only ourselves But if I was ever back to St Ives I would only stay in Helen's Apartment

Beautiful views and great location
Overall we had a lovely time! The place was very clean, with beautiful views over Porthminster beach and only a short walk into town. The space and facilities were perfect for our needs. Would definitely recommend. Suggestions for improvement: we expected some small shampoos, conditioners and body wash in the bathrooms and a hair dryer! There was also only one toilet roll in each bathroom for 6 days and no other paper products (kitchen roll/napkins). The wifi codes were also out of date in the guest book!

Lovely apartment in beautiful area
This apartment is very nice and comfortable and decorated to suit the “beach” environment. It is very well positioned, just a few minutes walk to the wonderful shops and amazing restaurants. It has beautiful ocean views. It would of been nice to have a welcome hamper and detailed instructions of how everything works (heating and garbigge removal for example) Also would of been ideal to have at least one or two dish water tablets and washing liquid for the first day or two. I would recommend this apartment.

Beautiful, super comfortable, classy sea view apartment.
We had a long weekend at the property and had a fantastic time. The view as you enter the property blows you away, We spent so much time sat on the beautiful balcony just watching the beach. The beds are so comfortable I checked to see which mattresses they use. 2 lovely bathrooms and a kitchen with everything we needed. Even a fab coffee maker. I joined the spa which is directly iposte the property and had a fab weekend of spa treatments, walks in stives and enjoying the comfort and view of the apartment. We has sky tv and a washing machine and dryer. Really easy to find the apartment and parking. Very quiet relaxing place. Will be returning again.

Wonderful base to explore St Ives and Cornwall
We have just come back from a fantastic stay here. The place is every bit as good as the photos suggest it is. Spotlessly clean on arrival, lots of space and the view over Porthminster beach is fantastic (especially at sunrise). The parking space is right outside the front door which was really handy (a rarity in St Ives!). Being at the top of town meant we never got stuck in traffic in the centre nor the very narrow streets - if you have been to St Ives you will know what a benefit this is! Porthminster beach is only 5-10 minutes walk away (with a young child in tow!) as is the train station if you want to venture further afield. The town is also only 5-10 minutes away with dozens of great restaurants but booking ahead is essential. Everywhere we went was completely family friendly and our 7 year old had a wonderful time as did we. We spent a lot of time on the beach and in the apartment but I'd recommend getting the open top bus to Land's End (Land's End Coaster) as well as a 20 minute drive to St Michael's Mount. Both the host (Helen) and housekeeper (Claire) were super friendly and really quick to respond whenever we needed to speak to them. I would thoroughly recommend the accommodation and St Ives for a family holiday or a couple and we hope to go back soon.
