This delightful 125-year-old farmhouse, overlooking a vineyard, sits on two acres. Recently renovated, the house is 3,000 square feet and can comfortably sleep 6-8 people in three spacious bedrooms. Two bedrooms are furnished with queen beds and the third with a king and a view of the vineyards. 170 + Five Star Reviews on VRBO The home has AC in the three upstairs bedrooms. We loved staying here. The openness of the property and our luck in great weather provided an idyllic place to enjoy the company of our group. We walked to dinner each night and gazed at the night sky upon return.
Can’t say enough about this place and the owners. Beautiful view of the vines and walking distance to St. Helena. Owner is a great communicator and there are lots of amenities with the home. Can’t wait to come back!
The peace, serenity, and splendor of your house was perfect. Our stay will be long remembered. Thank you for your hospitality!
As a bonus, the house was marvelously fit out for the times we elected to stay in and cook!
We had a wonderful time at this fantastic property! Gorgeous setting and such a lovely, comfortable house with great amenities. Our host Jim was very hospitable and helpful! A wonderful stay we are already hoping to repeat!
Incredible home/estate with plenty of space and outdoor areas for groups to enjoy the beautiful vineyard landscape. Host was extremely hospitable and communicative and provided a TON of extra amenities (water, chips, snacks, wine, beer, spices, etc.) Highly recommend and hope to stay again!
We had an amazing time at St Helena House. Very clean, large bedrooms and well appointed kitchen. Our favorite part was all the outside seating areas. So comfortable and fun. Thanks Jim and family for a wonderful stay!
Wonderful, beautiful property (better than the pictures show). Incredible attention to detail. We had a truly fabulous time, enjoyed the lovely property so much that we hated to leave!
We had such a great time staying at this property. The house is so beautiful and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. The host was very communicative. We could not have been happier!
Great host, house was far more than well stocked, you have everything you need. It was also well above and beyond clean.
Perfect location for a Napa trip. Thank you!
This house exceeded our expectations even with all the photos. It’s a place that takes friends and makes them family. We visited local wineries and then cooked dinner “at home” since it was so well appointed and so welcoming. We did one night with a personal chef and he was impressed too!

This home is amazing! It was clean, charming, spacious, comfortable and the owners are so helpful and accommodating. My elderly mom had no difficulty on the first floor. The surrounding area is beautiful and convenient to sites, wineries and restaurants. I highly recommend a stay here!
Our family had an excellent time at this property! The check in process was seamless, the welcome box at check in was a very nice touch!! The house itself is incredible with amazing history. It is also the exception to the rule when it comes to vacation rentals in that the kitchen comes stocked with anything you could need and more. We could have easily hosted a dinner party in the kitchen without a second thought. The location is also an easy walk into downtown st. Helena. Highly recommend!!!!
We were in town for our son's wedding, along with two of our adult children and their spouses. It was a beautiful location, very spacious indoors and out, and well-appointed. We ended up enjoying most meals on the porch overlooking the vineyard. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need and the beds were very comfortable. We played cornhole, cooked steaks on the grill and the kids even hung out in the party shed one night. It was convenient to our venue and everything downtown and we hope to come back soon!
This is a very special property - particularly if you have knowledge and interest in Napa wine. The house is the old Berringer farm house and sits adjacent to the vineyard that supplies the Cab Sav grapes that go into their reserve Cab. There are fruit trees of all sorts on the property as well so we had fresh fruit literally at our fingertips! It is a large property with all sorts of outdoor living space so a large group could easily gather for an evening. Jim was very knowledgeable of the area and also extremely responsive. I only hope that I'll be able to return soon!
Simply put, this property was fantastic in everyway!
Let's start with the location. We were within minutes from Main St in St. Helena (easily walkable) and several wineries. At the same time, you had the feel of being secluded in the countryside. Spring Mountain was behind you and vineyards lined the property. The setting was beautiful with several outside sitting areas to enjoy the views and great conversation.
The house had tons of character and charm but not at the expense of modern conveniences. It was extremely well provisioned for the guests.
The hosts were outstanding at communicating throughout. Initial emails and texts detailed many activities in the local area along with several recommendations. Checking in and out was extremely easy with very few requirements.
Would highly recommend this property!
Our family stayed at the St. Helena House while attending a memorial. The house exceeded our expectations. It was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and homey with many wonderful nooks to read, views of the vineyards out of every window, and a beautiful well stocked kitchen. The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were fine with fluffy towels and plenty of hot water with good water pressure in the showers. The owner was very welcoming and available for any questions. It rained all weekend so we did not get to enjoy the numerous outdoor spaces. I highly recommend this place for a family visit to the Napa Valley. We hated to leave!
We wanted to introduce friends from East Coast to the Napa Valley- history to modern day. This rare restored farmhouse with views of vineyards was ideal. Authentic, comfortable (with just the right amount of modern amenities but not too much to destroy the charm), spacious, wonderfully furnished, with superb kitchen (fully stocked), and screened porches, etc. The hosts were easy to communicate with and would stay again in a heartbeat. We have stayed at 60+ rentals around the world... this unique property ranks with the best.
This was my second time at St Helena House and it never disappoints. The home is charming, the grounds are beautiful and everything you need is close by. Cannot recommend enough.
Awesome house in the perfect location. So well equipped with everything needed, had coffee, bottled water, soft drinks, a bottle of wine and beer for us upon arrival!! Jim also provided information on local restaurants, wineries and tours that very helpful. Jim was also very responsive to questions. We hope the house is available for our next trip to St Helena.
