The house is in a PERFECT location -- just blocks from the heart of downtown St. Helena and easy walking distance to everything you would want: fabulous restaurants (Charter Oak, Farmstead, Cook, Market, Gotts, Tra Vigne, Model Bakery, and more), wineries (Merryvale Vineyards, Clif Family Winery, Hall, etc.), great spa with heated pool (Health Spa Napa Valley), old-timey neighborhood grocery store, movie theater, and wine bars. Plus, one of the biggest treats is just right outside the front door: miles and miles and miles of walkable country paths in open fields, vineyards and parks!

The stunning, single level 2BR/2BA home has been impeccably remodeled, in a clean and modern architectural style, with soaring ceilings and lots of skylights. The owner takes great pride in this property and it shows in every detail. The inside which is spotless and the beautiful grounds are to be enjoyed. The location is perfect for exploring the town of St. Helena on foot.

What a gem
This property is wonderful. It’s comfortable, well stocked and has the most amazing backyard. Its location is walking distance to the heart of St Helena and a short car ride to all of Napa. Julie is caring, nice and super easy to work with. I highly recommend this perfect home. We had so much fun.

Fabulous Stay!
We very much enjoyed our stay at Julie’s house! The house is beautifully decorated and the art throughout is absolutely amazing. The backyard is an oasis! Each area having its own vibe or section with art and decorations, flowers are amazing. The house is in a perfect location. You can walk to downtown St Helena - shops, restaurants, tasting rooms all close by. We also enjoyed how close all the wonderful hiking options are. Julie gives so many details and really takes pride in her beautiful home. She was quite helpful and responsive, fabulous host!

Lovely home
We stayed in this property for just over a month. It had all the amenities you could want including full washer & dryer, Wolf range, main bath with separate shower and large tub, comfortable seating areas and large back yard with dining and sitting areas. The entire house and yard were beautifully decorated. The house was also close to the downtown shops and restaurants, to which we often walked. We would totally recommend staying here.

The most beautiful time of the year to be in St Helena was November. Fall colors are simply beautiful. This charming house does not disappoint. It’s warm, inviting and has a great kitchen for cooking. Beautiful backyard with plenty of seating. Safe and quiet neighborhood and walking distance to town, groceries, restaurants, movie theater, and close to all other surrounding towns and vineyards. Highly recommend this house. Julie is an excellent hostess and available anytime!

We Couldn't have found a better house!
This house was perfect in every way! We rented for the month of March and were so thrilled to be able to walk to dinner and shopping. It is in the perfect location. The home has everything you need and is VERY comfortable. The best part is the backyard! The owner was so attentive and made herself available if we needed her. We won't hesitate to rent this house again! A real GEM!

Beautiful place- Garden is AMAZING!
This property is a wonderful place to stay in the beautiful town of St Helena. It was walking distance to downtown and centrally located for fabulous wineries. But the best thing about this property is Julie the owner! She is so attentive and helpful. She is concerned about making sure the house is well maintained, she has the gardens professionally serviced once a week and her response time with any question is immediate! We couldn’t have had a better stay. Highly - highly recommend!

Great place in the Napa Valley -- maybe the best place
What you get is even better than what you see online. Perfect location. Compact one story house but filled with everything you need AND the most amazing backyard ever. The perfect place to hang out, read, nap, sip a glass of wine, have an outdoor meal (multiple tables and seating locations you can choose) or just be. The master bedroom doors also open onto this amazing yard which is an added bonus. The owner Julie is open, accessible kind and responsive. She wants you to have a great stay. if something isn't right she makes it better. Could not recommend more and the best way we can prove that is by saying that we just completed our second extended stay in this beautiful property.

This is a wonderful property. My lower rating is the result of all the pollen and tree droppings covering everything. Of course, this may be due to the timing of the year and is situational and may not have any bearing for others.. But unfortunately, I had to cut my stay short because of the severe pollen which created an adverse allergic reaction, making it intolerable for me to stay. I do not have a history of allergies and this was my first time experiencing such a reaction. There is no way of knowing that would be a problem. So sad because the property is so beautiful and ideally located.

Julie’s home is fabulous! Wonderful neighborhood! It’s location is perfect for walking into this friendly town, restaurants, a walk in the vineyards and central to so many beautiful wineries. Just a short drive to Yountville and Calistoga, each town with their own uniqueness. A beautiful drive into Napa if you want to take cooking classes at the CIA Napa. Highly recommended but book your classes early as they fill up quickly! Such a great experience. Quaint movie (cinema!) theater in downtown St. Helena to catch the latest movies. Julie was a tremendous host making sure I was comfortable and had great suggestions on hair & nail salons for my extended stay. The house felt like home and has a well equipped kitchen so I loved cooking for my dinner guests and house guests from home. I hated to leave! Thank you so much, Julie!

Great Home in St Helena!
All the reviews are true! We had high expectations for this home and it exceeded in every respect. Wonderfully decorated throughout with some neat details in every corner of the home and the yard. The backyard was a true treasure, very private, with so many places to relax. We spent each night enjoying the wonderful space. The kitchen was outfitted perfectly with everything you needed. Julie was super easy to work with and very responsive. She really made us feel very welcome! St Helena. I discover the town on bike trip a few years ago and was convinced it would be the ideal base for a Napa trip and it was perfect. Location was five star, located in a very pleasant and quiet neightborhood, with a short walk to everything in town. We rode our bikes on the leafy lanes that criss-cross the valley as well as the small rolling hills up Silverado Trail to Calistoga. The bike trip down to Oakville Grocery and back up route 128 to Main Street St Helena was entirely flat with plenty of room on the shoulder for bikes. So many places to enjoy and discover in St Helena. And, such a great home. We will be back!

Great little house in a great little town
My wife and I are thinking about moving to Napa Valley in a few years and wanted to get more of a feel of what it’s like to truly live and work from there as opposed to always being there on vacation. This house worked out perfectly for us. It had the best stocked kitchen of any VRBO that we’ve ever stayed at as well as very well-stocked with sundry items such as paper towels, plastic bags, toilet paper, etc.. The house was very well laid out for two people as well as being roomy enough for us to have guests a couple times during our five weeks stay. It had a huge backyard that felt like the biggest backyard in all of Saint Helena. Great for relaxing as well as doing a little entertaining back there. The town of Saint Helena itself is charming and full of restaurants and interesting little shops. Most were walkable from the house. Our favorite was the burger and salad and old fashioneds at the happy hour at the Charter Oak restaurant. Market was another favorite restaurant. Owner was very responsive to all of our questions, and even managed to get Comcast over to the house on Easter day to fix a little Internet problem that came up. I wish I had the same sort of sway with Comcast. Overall a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it for others

If you appreciate perfection this is the place for you
- [ ] Location is short walk to the heart of town with a blend of diverse shops, dining options and wine tasting bars. - [ ] Bright, comfortable, conversing areas - [ ] Exquisite kitchen with everything a chef would want - [ ] Master bedroom with fireplace and sliders opening to - [ ] Deck viewing an enchanted garden which is more like a park - [ ] Privacy everywhere with beautiful redwoods, colorful trees, shrubs and blooming plants...gardenias were just blooming when we left - [ ] Our dogs enjoyed the huge and safe yard. We were pleased there are so many dog-friendly restaurants and wineries. Even after a month my husband and I would discover more thoughtful touches. (Even the paper products were quality). Clever, unexpected whimsical decor along with a mix of traditional and modern art. I think my favorite is the mermaid sitting in a chair with a pillow behind her head. I regretted removing her pillow when the rains began. Julie was quick to respond and very gracious. Her love for the home is obvious. There’s no way a renter would regret a stay here. Everything was perfection, and we are grateful we found Julie and her home.

St Helena Gem
Adorable home with a wonderful back garden. Host was very responsive and there were no issues. Location can't be beat. Only thing I would suggest would be to have fewer accessories, more drawers and kitchen cabinets available so renters have more space for their items but regardless the place is wonderful! We can't wait to go back!

A true Oasis
We stayed here for 9 days in September 2024. Everything about this place is as advertised and then some! I cannot say enough about the backyard. It is beautiful and serene. The location of the house is perfect. The host made the process easy. Highly recommend:)
