The food reminded me of my mum's coming in a very good way indeed with delicious options for every taste with gluten free and veggie options. Good home style cooking. Bedrooms are neat, spotless and comfy. Location is just gorgeous, make sure to take a stroll into the low hills behind and see the waterfall and river. "Most enjoyable overnight stay at the Dragon. We had a large room overlooking the market square.Dinner was very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast a little disappointing with no fresh fruit or marmalade. All staff very helpful and friendly. We would stay again when next in the area."

"Wonderfull! Devils Bridge and area is a must! Lovely walk to the falls just infront of the Hotel, and if a beautiful train ride through the mountains (1hour+/-) to Aberystwyth! The locomotive museum stunning! We have fond memories!"

"We stayed here for one night after attending a wedding near by. We arrived at 10 pm in heavy rain and were warmly welcomed at the door by the owner who quickly checked us in and showed us to our room. Next morning we woke to sunshine and wonderful views to the surrounding hills. Breakfast was very good and service was excellent. Fellow EV drivers may be interested to know that free charging is offered to guests upon request - according to the hotel directory in our room. We didn’t register seeing this on the hotel web page. The building has many historic features and has the normal quirks of an old building such as slightly sloping floors in places. We would certainly be happy to return here and stay longer as there is plenty to see and do in the wider region."
