"Get lost" in the serenity of this newly remodeled modern rustic lake house on Lost Lake in St. Germain.
Enjoy the breath-taking lake view from the sunroom, lakeside seating area, or up close on the dock. Take a stroll on the lake on the paddle board, canoe, kayaks, or paddle boat. Lost Lake is a full recreation lake.
New for 2024 season- available for rent on site is a 2022 Viaggio 22' pontoon that seats 12. It is a brand new, beautiful pontoon. It is conveniently docked on a lift, connected to the dock. No need to arrange a rental from an off site company. Message us for details and rates!
This is a tourist's paradise located near St. Germain, Eagle River, Minocqua, and Boulder Junction. Biking trails, snowmobile trails, and ATV rentals nearby as well as go-karting, horseback riding, and many delightful Northwoods restaurants.

Great Northwoods Stay
The house was great. It had enough room for 2 families. The kids loved all the water activities at the house and the boat we rented from the owners was amazing! The location was great as well- close to towns but out of the way as well. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect getaway!
The pictures don’t do this place justice. We have rented many cabins on Lost Lake and this has been our favorite. The beds are extremely comfortable and the bunk room was a big hit with our kids. The cabin was well stocked. There wasn’t anything that we felt was missing. There were even plenty of games supplied, which was helpful during one of our stormy nights. Would love to visit again in the future.

New Modern Lake House
Thank you! Our family of 7 (3 adults, 4 kids) enjoyed our stay at the lake house. The new house was clean, comfortable, and had all the new amenities inside beyond what you expect of a lake house. The dock, lake porch, and fire pit outside were wonderful along with all the lake toys.

Northwoods Retreat
The property was incredible! There is a beautiful view of the lake. It was very peaceful. We brought our own boat and fished a few days, it was wonderful to use their private pier. We enjoyed a fire at night, listening to the loons, owls, and coyotes. The house is just beautiful, they have everything you need. We all slept snug in our beds, they were super comfortable. It was a short stay, we wished we had more time. We will stay again!

Perfect place for winter ice fishing retreat
The house was clean with lots of amenities and comfortably slept all 7 of us. Easy access to lost lake boat launch and other area lakes. Definitely one of the top places we’ve stayed on our annual ice fishing outing.

Lovely Stay Up North!
We had a wonderful stay at Lost Lake this past weekend. The house is absolutely perfect -- the view is stunning; literally, the house has everything you need. My family of 6 fit comfortably! The owners are kind and easily accessible. We VERY much hope to return to this property; you won't be disappointed! We've stayed in a wide variety of places up north and this home, for sure, tops the list.

Absolutely fantastic cabin, perfect for families.
We have stayed in many, many rentals throughout the United States for a number of years now. This cabin, by far, was the most equipped, clean, and family friendly cabin that we have stayed at. There was nothing that we needed that was not provided at the cabin. The communication with the owners was immediate and very friendly. Our family enjoyed every part of it inside and out. Additionally, we rented the pontoon boat, which was an excellent choice. Our kids and grandkids caught many fish off the dock. We enjoyed the water activities and use of the watercraft that the cabin provided. The area was private and safe. The town of St. Germain is cute and not over touristy. We had one rainy day, which we spent in town at Cathy’s ice cream and at Elmer’s fun which included go karting and horseback riding.

Wonderful lakeside getaway!
This house is PERFECT! We wanted an awesome fire pit, a great deck and dock, and we got all of it. The house is updated - new kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and all new linens, towels, dishes, and tv. I felt like I was walking into an HGTV makeover! The hosts were very communicative and helpful. We definitely want to go back ❤️

Great house in a central location
The house is absolutely gorgeous. Everything is well kept up and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked. We especially liked the water filter in the refrigerator. The beds were very comfortable and had high quality linens. The layout was great with a wonderful view of the lake. They had a canoe, some kayaks and paddleboard for use. We saw a few bald eagles flying around. Also there was plenty of firewood available for nightly camp fires. This place desires the 5 star review. We would come back again but as it is priced so expensive, we likely will look for other options next summer.

Annual Guys fishing trip
We have an annual guys fishing trip we take every year in northern Wisconsin. This place fit the bill and then some. Very clean and had a nice up north feel to it but modern. The fishing was terrible but that happens when the weather turns. Towels provided were nice and the gas grill had an extra tank which we ended up needing. Plenty of room for us to spread out. Only downside we could possibly think of would be to have a few more streaming selections on the tv. Couldn’t get some of the sports. Overall would definitely rent again. Great place you have there. We would rent again without a doubt.

Lake Paradise & Peacefulness!
This property was exactly as advertised! The host was very responsive to any questions that we had. The home was beautiful and the location was fabulous, a fantastic lake in a peaceful neighborhood! We absolutely loved their deck and spent a lot of time on it watching the eagles glide and land on a tree top about 30 feet away. The sunsets on the lake were gorgeous. The house was very clean, all updated and well decorated. Inside the house we loved the comfy couch that made for a great reading corner overlooking the lake! There were plenty of boats to go around for kayaking or paddle boarding on the lake. All in all it was a fantastic place to gather our far flung family for a family reunion. This a property that I would highly recommend to anyone that's looking for a lake getaway. Thank you very much Steve & Family!

Great Family Getaway with One FYI
Overall very impressed, everything as advertised and had excellent communications with the owner and would stay again. One note for families with small children/infants: There is no gear provided- bring high chair, baby gate, pack n play etc. the dining chairs are higher and low backed so booster seats don't work. Also no bathtub. Just mentioned so you know. The sand beach was a huge hit for our 4-year old and the entire family enjoyed the water toys and the deck overlooking the lake as well as the firepit (which also overlooks the lake). Genius use of space both inside and out. Lovely finishes throughout cottage. Must try pancakes at Wolf Pack Cafe!

Nice getaway
Our family has been going up to St Germain for many years. This house was tucked into the woods on Lost Lake (about 10 minutes from downtown area and snowmobile trails). Easy checkin/ check out. Clear/ easy communication with management. Kitchen and baths were well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Home was very inviting and great for group of 10 (6 adults, 4 kids). Temperature control was the only issue. We kept the heat on 75 through our entire stay, but it was uncomfortably cold in the lower level (2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom & additional living space). Discussed with management and they are working to resolve issue for future guests.

Lovel Lake Home Under Eagles’ Wings
Our family of 10 (2 grandparents, 4 parents, 4 granddaughters – ages 11-10-9-7) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home on Lost Lake. The cabin was super – comfortable beds, great cooking appliances and utensils, etc., numerous areas for family to gather to play games, visit, or just watch the water. We had limited use of the fire pit due to the dry conditions, but made good use of the grill. The deck was perfect for sunset views over the water and watching eagles fly overhead. Deer appeared in the driveway area and even watched while the adults played corn hole. The internet worked well and our son-in-law was pleased he could do remote work from the cabin. In fact the number of outlets was great for plugging in all the phones, IPads, CPap machines, etc. The girls didn’t do much swimming, but they sure made use of the sandy beach area. It was so handy to have a hose by the patio door to rinse off the sand. Also handy to have a hose near by to clean off the fish cleaning table and area. My husband would have liked to catch a few more larger fish, but he was kept busy with the girls fishing right off the dock. They had a blast catching fish. The owners were very prompt to respond and easy to work with. So many memories were made by all. My husband had radiation in February for cancer treatment and I currently am in cancer treatment for multiple myeloma, so this time with family was special. A great experience!
