This beachfront bungalow features amazing Gulf views and direct access to the sugar sand beach - it's the perfect spot for your incredible beach vacation. Located in the heart of the Island's popular and convenient Gulf Beaches neighborhood, Moon Dreamer is close to local shops, restaurants, nightlife, St. George Lighthouse Museum, and a multi-use path. Whether exploring the Island on bicycle or paddleboard, or just kicking back and relaxing on watching the moon rise over the sea, this vacation rental home offers lots of options for enjoying the Forgotten Coast!

The exterior of this home offers a private boardwalk to the sandy shore, a refreshing outdoor shower after a full day in the sun, and a park-style grill for those delicious meals. Two beach view decks with a convenient exterior staircase make access to the shore quick and easy. The first floor offers the first bedroom which enjoys direct access to the covered deck with beautiful Gulf views. A TV and full bathroom are provided. The second bedroom offers a TV and a full private bathroom. A laundry area is provided for added convenience.

The second floor offers an open living/dining/kitchen area with vaulted ceilings and ocean views. The well-appointed kitchen enjoys stainless appliances, granite counters, and a breakfast bar that seats two. The dining table seats six for meals, puzzles, and board games with family and friends. The living room provides comfortable coastal decor with a large TV and queen sleeper sofa. Exit through double sliding doors to the furnished covered Gulf view deck and enjoy fantastic sunrises. A full bathroom is provided on this floor.

The third/loft level offers a spacious bed that overlooks the open living area. Indoor entertainment is provided with DVD and Roku players. Beach gear credit is included with this home - book a stay and get your choice of kayaks, paddleboards, beach chairs, and more!

THINGS TO KNOW

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Wonderful for a weekend getaway
Great views and easy direct access to the beach. So so many stairs however- if you have mobility issues you may want to reconsider something with this many levels. Overall a great property and felt right at home for the weekend.

Right in the beach and close to all the restaurants. We had a lot of fun. It’s a short walk to the beach. The house was in good condition. The furniture was utilitarian but comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We would rent again. The Vacasa staff was professional and very helpful throughout the process.

Great, quiet location- property needs attention
Location is excellent- quiet with easy beach access and lovely views. Caution to elderly or those with mobility issues- multiple (steep) stairways for access to main living area and upper sleeping loft. Encountered several maintenance and cleanliness issues during our stay- Vacasa responded quickly- but these wouldn’t have occurred in well maintained property. We’ll return to this area but look for a different rental property.

Location is a big plus for this property. The views were fantastic, and everything from food to souvenirs were within a less than 5 minute walk. St. George Island is a wonderful location if you're looking for a laid back, low crowd beach stay. The issues we had : Some of the doors would not latch, and some doors needed adjusting as I had to "rescue" some of our party a few times from a stuck door. Being a beach house, all of the floors are understandably tile, and they were a little unclean as shown by dirty socks. Amenities were not the greatest, the living room couches had multiple stains, and some of the skillet pans were losing their Teflon coating so we were unable to use but one. All in all we enjoyed our stay and the negatives did not come to the level of "I have to call someone right now". We would definitely like to visit again, it is one of our new favorite beaches.

Wonderful location with breathtaking, beachfront views
This was the perfect home for our family beach getaway. We have two children (ages 11 and 14) who loved having their own separate bedrooms. We also brought our beloved lab for his first ever beach trip; and, he had the best time! We loved being right on the beach. The outdoor shower and garden hose for the pup allowed us to rinse off as much sand as we could before going back inside. The location is fantastic considering it’s beachfront and walking distance to restaurants and shops. No golf cart rental required! The kitchen was adequately stocked as we had everything necessary to prepare breakfast, lunch, and a seafood feast for dinner! I think it’s important to note that there are A LOT of stairs which would present a problem for anyone with mobility issues. That being said, the stairs we’re not a problem for us and just ensured that we got in a little exercise for the day! All in all, it was wonderful and relaxing stay for the whole family!

Beautiful and convenient location
After a major debacle of our entry code not working and not being repaired until the morning AFTER we arrived, our stay was great. Being able to walk out our door onto the beach was fantastic, and restaurants and shops were all within easy walking distance. The unit was very neat and clean and the in-unit washer/drayer was great to have available. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful beach retreat, this is the place for you. Enjoyed our stay
We enjoyed our stay in Moondreamer. Highlights were tile floors, master shower and outdoor shower, beach access, Netflix availability. Problems: the mattress in the master bedroom was too soft and very uncomfortable. Also the couch was uncomfortable and the springs were worn out. We wished there was access to amazon streaming. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and we would consider coming back if the mattress in the master bedroom was replaced with a new, firm one.
