Comfortable home with lots of included amenities. Private and quiet. Great for bird watching. Very close to public beach access. Easy going, communicative, friendly hosts. Would stay again!

Peace at the Beach!!
Charming little house, block and 1/2 from the beach, use the golf cart and leave your car parked, they had everything you’d need!!! Great relaxing stay!! Thank you!!

Perfect Beach House with lots of Privacy
Because we were a few streets back from direct beach access, we had great privacy and a wonderful lot. The beach itself was very quiet this time of year and having a golf cart to get from the house to the beach made everything accessible. We love SGI and when we go back, we’ll try to get the same house in the future!!

Love St. George Island! The house was nice. Had everything we needed. Love the fact that coffee filters, paper towels, and other items were provided so we didn't have to run out and purchase them.

What a great getaway spot!
We loved the privacy and quiet of this cute house! Clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed for a romantic getaway. The beach is a short walk away and during the first week of May, it was not crowded at all. Nearby restaurants are excellent - the Blue Parrot was our favorite! The property owner was easy to reach and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect, low key spot for one or two small families
Property was great, clean, with lots of extras you don’t normally get with vacation rentals (seasonings! Detergent, trash bags, some toiletries, beach stuff, etc…) Communication was great and the hosts are very accommodating. I highly recommend the golf cart rental because it is great for getting to the very close beach access or grocery stores/shops/restaurants. We had to do very little to make the house a fun runaround for our 2 year old. 10/10 would stay again

Perfect couples cottage
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tropical Affair and plan to return. The house and hosts were very welcoming, the bed was super comfortable, and we really enjoyed relaxing time on the screened porch. The beach is close but I recommend getting the golf cart to make life even easier. The house and yard were very pet friendly and our pup enjoyed everything about our stay. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Beach Getaway
My husband and I had such a wonderful stay at this home. The home was well-equipped with all the things we needed for a relaxing day at the beach, which was just a short walk away. We loved listening to the birds (and neighborhood roosters) from the screened in porch. We loved how dog-friendly the home and entire island is. The home is very clean and exactly as pictured. A true gem!

We enjoyed our first time staying on St. George Island. Sid was very accommodating and extremely helpful with any questions we had. Always responded quickly and was very friendly! The house was well stocked with anything you would need. We would definitely recommend staying in their lovely house.

Fantastic home
Fantastic house with close proximity to the beach. The owners actually manage the property and made our stay that much better. The home everything we needed and more. Definitely recommend renting the golf cart, which makes getting around easy. Easiest checkout I’ve ever had with a rental. We plan on making this our regular spot for trips to SGI.

Beach Cottage
This little house is beautifuly decorated and perfect for a couple. Tucked in the forest, it is very private, yet you can still hear the surf. Owners very responsive. The screened porch was our favorite spot and nearly doubles the living space of the cottage. Obvious recent renovation of kitchen. Reminded us of old Florida.

August trip
Everything was very nice. Love the way Joyce decorated the beach house. So happy to have a place where we can bring our dogs. No flights of stairs, so no problem for my 15 yr. old dog. Every day at the nearby beach was sunny and beautiful. My husband and I enjoyed meeting Syd. He was a super guy and went out of his way to get a TV program added which we wanted to watch. Thanks again Syd!

Late Birthday Getaway
This home is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. It's not on an extremely large lot but it makes you feel as if you're in your own little world. The landscaping is extremely beautiful and the house is fully stocked and exceptionally clean. This was the absolute best property we have ever stayed at and we will be back. The hosts were exceptional.

I absolutely loved staying in this cottage! It has just about everything you might want or need. The rest you need to get at the grocery store. Sid & Joyce were absolutely amazing! Very friendly, considerate, and really go the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need. I have found my new yearly vacation spot.

Beautiful hidden gem
St. George and this rental exceeded expectations. The rental was just as it looks in pictures but Sid and Joyce also have the home stocked with everything needed for a beach vacation. We found we needed more time to enjoy it all and thankfully could add another night on to our stay. We loved the lizards in the yard and listening to a neighboring rooster crow in the mornings. Catching sunrise at the nearby beach and spotting dolphins were also highlights. We can't wait to come back!

Charming and convenient
Overall a very nice place, very convenient to everything around you. A golf cart is provided as an option. Highly recommend using it. Makes it much easier to get around and access, the shopping and the dining and everything else around you.

My home away from home
The house was a perfect little reminder of how time stands still when you’re on “island time”.It was beautifully clean and charming. It is in a quiet little neighborhood, just a short walk to the beach. From the tiki torches that light the path to the front door to the screened in porch for morning meditation and tea, the house is perfect. The owners Sid & Joyce make you feel like long time friends have just welcomed you to “come and stay awhile”

Beach Cottage Get Away
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this cute cottage. Everything was neat and clean. The cozy cottage had everything we needed to make ourselves at home for the week. Bonus was being able to rent Sid’s golf cart. I highly recommend using it to tour the island. Sid was very gracious and available for any guest request. He is prompt and courteous. We will return for another fall vacay!
