Listen to the waves break and take in the magnificent views from this lovely gulf front townhome in the popular 300 Ocean Mile community. You can't get much closer to the sea than this! Watch the sun rise and dolphins frolic while sipping your morning coffee from the multiple decks, or the comfy couches inside, and fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing just a few yards away. Plenty of space to be together and apart, with bedrooms on separate floors.

Located in the Island's popular East End neighborhood, Ocean Mile I-3 is close to local shops, restaurants, nightlife, the multi-use path connecting the entire Island, St. George State Park, and the Lighthouse Museum. Guests can enjoy two large community swimming pools with sun decks, lounge chairs, and umbrellas. Multiple boardwalks provide easy access to the beach.

The exterior of this home offers under-house concrete covered parking, an outdoor shower, and a community grill, and is close to the community pool that also can be seen from the wraparound deck. The main level features the open living/dining/kitchen area, a half bath, and a private balcony. There are views galore, accentuated by one wall of mirrored glass. It's as if the Gulf is another room in the house! Relax on the comfy sofas, one of which opens into a queen sleeper, while watching the surf. Fix up a pitcher of margaritas in the well-equipped kitchen, or cook up that catch of the day. Serve it up at the two bar stools at the counter that divides the kitchen and living area or on the round glass table that seats four or more. The townhouse was very nice and had everything we needed. It was right on the beach with easy access. There was a resident that was very rude and yelled at several guests and always threatened to have them thrown out.

Decent community setup.
The condo kitchen was extremely outdated. The appliances were rusty. The cabinets were old and soiled inside. The sink was stainless steel but very used and dirty. The ice maker did not work. It was reported and a maintenance man came but had to remove and we never heard after that. The porch screen door did not open and close without a major “work”. The Master bath room has a tub that requires climbing into a huge tub, huge step into. We did not struggle but certainly not appropriate for an elderly person. It was not an inexpensive rental for the week in spring. Certainly did not warrant the rate. We had fun because we worked around the issues and cleaned with Clorox on our own. Would not recommend this unit!

I was extremely disappointed in this location. It was not updated at all and many things did not work properly. The master bath smelled like urine when we arrived and it took 24 hours to address. The garbage disposal spit out on you when you ran it; the screen door to the beach was hard to maneuver; the outdoor shower was simply a spiggot outside and was very tight to get the knob to turn to allow water to come on and go off. It was impossible to determine how to take advantage of the so-called $150 beach equipment credit so we spent $120 on beach chairs. The description says there is a closet with beach chairs and floats and there were none of either so this should be taken off of the description. Nothing was updated. Paint was peeling in several rooms. I would like a partial refund. I would not recommend this location.

Great Spot!
We loved this place! I will say, the pictures do NOT do it justice! It is much more spacious in the main master bedroom and bathroom than you realize. It is RIGHT on the beach! And even though, we are in a townhouse, on the inside, we never heard other neighbors! We traveled as two couples, each with a 4-yr-old. So perfectly family friendly! And we brought along our 5-lb chihuahua! She had a blast! IT was VERY clean! All the floors, bedding, bathrooms in tip-top shape! Only downside would be the small decks that do meet up right to your neighbor, but honestly people are all in and out at different times and I didn't ever feel like I didn't have enough privacy. We would totally stay here again!
