Just minutes from the door is the AONB of Goss Moor, home to an off road cycle trail and various wildlife - bike hire is available close by. Watergate Bay is a must see, with over a mile of golden sand and great surf, the beach and cliffs are dramatic year round. Visit the stunning Camel Valley vineyard, which can be reached by bike along the tranquil Camel Trail that meanders through the countryside from nearby Wadebridge. The Camel Estuary also provides the perfect kayaking opportunity. The Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Fowey and the Roseland Peninsula provide the perfect day out on the south coast, while Newquay with its surf culture, seven beaches and home to Jamie Oliver’s ’Fifteen’ restaurant is just minutes away on the north coast.
