Aspen Lodge was a hit with everyone!
"This place is great! It has a large gathering area (lots of couches), a kids' hangout (bean bags, a projector and screen hooked to a dvd player), a cozier living room (where a few adults would sit and visit) and a good-sized dining area where everyone could eat together. The game room (converted garage - so a little chilly) - had everything! Foosball, pool table, foam pit, small climbing wall, ping-pong, a playground climbing set - everything! It has room heaters which keep it warm-ish and the way the kids were running around in there, they didn't complain that it was chilly, but it was a bit cool to me. The bedrooms had nice heavy doors and kept the sound out. The kitchen was very well stocked - lots of dishes and plenty of silverware and whenever someone asked "Do you think they have a . . . ?" - they did! Since its close to Christmas time, we were very glad to have the lovely Christmas tree in the front room. We found a keyboard in a closet but since we brought our own; I can only assume it worked. We had lots of little children - infants up to a couple of 13 year olds - and everyone had a fantastic time. We highly recommend Aspen Lodge. (Please note that the property details description is correct -there are 8 private bedrooms and one bunkroom. There are NOT 10 bedrooms.) TIP: One of our moms suggested we bring $ store black plastic
tablecloths to hang over the french door entries to some bedrooms to cut down on the light in the daytime to accommodate napping toddlers."
A verified traveler stayed at Aspen Lodge. Indoor play area. Great space for large groups!
