Great location, classic beach cottage feel
Stayed for a quick 3 nights and had a great experience. House was on the beach with only the dune separating you from the water. Great green space for playing sports with the kids and quiet at night. Definitely recommend for future stays.

The cottage is everything and more that was put in the listing. Very quiet, private end of the road. Great access to the beach. Great access to restaurants, ice cream, and evidently the best burrito bar in America.

Location is perfect as it is just steps from the beach, the home is very comfortable, the enclosed back porch is a nice place to read and relax on cool days. The property is located close to downtown and restaurants. Would recommend to others

Charming house steps away from the beach!!

Wonderful beach getaway cottage
We truly enjoyed staying in this cozy beach cottage. It was an authentic and well-loved cottage and perfect for the two of us. It was in a perfect location with an easy walk to the beach (especially with the new walkway). The sun porch was so nice in the afternoon it rained where we sat and read our books. JP was the perfect host and so quick and responsive to any questions. We would book again!

Cute Beach Cottage + Sunrises
We loved our time in this cute little beach cottage. Every morning brought a new & spectacular sunrise! Our kids had so much fun! It was lovely to just walk out the door and down to the beach whenever we wanted. No packing up a bunch of things because you’re just right there by the access.

Wonderful home
The house is bright, clean, inviting and we felt right at home almost immediately!!! We watched the sunrise every morning on the beach and it is literally footsteps away. I spend a lot of time relaxing on the back deck and some cooler mornings in the relaxing sunroom. Can’t wait to come visit again, thank you for sharing your home with us.

Wonderful Beach Cottage
We loved our stay at this quaint beach cottage right on the beach. It was just down the street from from excellent restaurants, coffee shops and Publix. Our host was super helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again. Our fur baby loved it too. It was great seeing the beach birds like laughing and ringed billed gulls, black skimmers, and northern gannets out over the ocean and birds in the dunes like the savannah sparrows and palm warblers. We even saw a red shouldered hawk swoop down in the dunes and grab a snake and bring it up the condo roof across the street. Great place to stay!

Location, Location, Location
If you enjoy: being Steps from the beach, the sound of the ocean lulling you to relaxation while sitting on the outdoor deck or sunroom, sunrises, walking a few blocks for morning coffee and a choice of restaurants, this is the place for you. We were quite comfortable in this “beach cottage” environment. JP, was readily available for our many questions and had great suggestions to make our time more enjoyable.

Amazing location
Owner is extremely responsive and flexible. Home is beautiful. Property location is amazing. Directly on beach with the most beautiful sunrises every morning. Waking distance to shops and restaurants. Downtown St A is a ten minute drive. Keep in mind that the property allows pets so you may go home with a few extra dog hairs!!

Incredible Authentic Surf and Sunshine Destination!
We could not have been more pleased and blown away by our experience. The location is out of this world. We sauntered back-and-forth to the beach each day from the beachfront location. The area has an authentic surf and beach town feel that is unspoiled and can't be beat. The home is terrific, just the right balance between keeping a lowkey cottage charm and updated furnishings and amenities for our comfort/enjoyment. We will be back! JP was a kind, gracious, and responsive host.

Family Vacation
Had a great time staying at the beach house. Just a short walk to the beach. My husband said a wave of nostalgia swept over him when he saw the inside of the home. He’s from a small town in upstate New York and these are the type of homes he grew up in. Love the old floors and windows. Will definitely be back again. JP was very responsive whenever we needed anything. Highly recommend.

The location was beautiful, right at the beach, the house is old, which we expected. However, there were problems all week with the septic system backing up which were totally unacceptable and I would not recommend this rental.

Great Potential
At first glance, the cottage is cute and charming. The location is excellent with its close proximity to the beach and fun coffee shops and restaurants. However, upon setting our belongings down, we noticed that the rental had not been properly cleaned and was in need of a top down scrub and some updates. Surfaces were dusty/sticky, there were long hairs everywhere, and the beds appeared remade after the previous guest. Most linens were old and/or stained, and fresh linens were stored directly on the floor of the closet. JP was communicative and offered remedies to the situation, but it did not entirely make up for the hours it took to rewash the linens and clean the rental. We also found other surprises throughout the week: dishes with food residue in the cabinets, a dusty sock under the twin bed, and a bra behind the TV in the master bedroom. With time, love, and a thorough scrub this will be a great rental.

Superb location, unhelpful hosts and cittahebis quite tired
The location was amazing for us. You could walk straight onto the beach and to restaurants etc. The cottage is tired and lacks usable storage space as the small wardrobes are crammed with bedding and other bits. The air con is in a cupboard in the lounge and backs onto the bedrooms and is really noisy. We lost power from hurricane Helene and thats when the issues with the host started. She replied at first and said she hopes it would come back on. We were tracking it and there was no way it was going to be on that day, they said it could be 2-4 days. When we asked the hosts about refunding our unused night so we could move as we needed power all communication stopped. They didn’t even answer to VRBO and haven’t contacted us since. VRBO were great to be fair and refunded the remainder of the booking and said they would take it up with the now absent host. We weren’t being prissy about the electric. Once it was off the house internals were up at over 85 degrees with no air con, no hot water and no fridge or means to cook. The BBQ was rusty and filthy and the kettle was rusty to. We gave our food to the man a few doors down who was also renting but his host made sure he had a generator and was in constant touch. Ours was literally missing once a refund was asked about. I’d never treat people like they treated us hence the 1 star.!

Perfect Beach R&R Getaway
The property was so very charming and the location could not be beat! It was quiet and peaceful. The bed and bath were very comfortable and clean. It was a remarkable stay. We'll be sure to return here, especially since there was no issue with our pups being with us.

Best Stay Ever!
You just can’t beat this location. Absolutely awesome beach access, and round the clock ocean sounds. The street has parking for public beach access, so there’s lots of smiling surfers walking to and from the beach. We enjoyed every second, and would love to stay again!
