Booking this hotel was a dream about us so on this trip, we decided to go for it! All the staff has been excellent. The room was so large with two queen beds and everything you can imagine however, we found out that they will be closing this facility because it’s been bought out by the University.🙃 Today is the last day this facility will be a hotel! So happy to experience The Sebastian Hotel!

Very helpful receptionist. Nice big room and shower! For us the only improvement would have been a handheld shower instead of only a wallmounted one. Everything else was perfect. Cannot comment on breakfast because we enjoyed that elsewhere.

I’m requesting a refund. Hotel was sold to Flagler university on 11/15. Entire place was not as described. Smoke alarms going off. No laundry services. Etc. Entire place is closing 1/12/23 as staff indicated. Terrible for Christmas.

Amazing stay!!! Nicest staff members ever!
Everything was nothing short of amazing, from check in to check out. Came across the nicest staff members… And I would love to recognize Bird, Christian, Lisette, and Michelle. All constantly had a smile on their face and entertained great conversations. Gave us a very warm welcome throughout the stay. Guided us on our whereabouts and advised on which restaurants and tours to take. Really wish you guys weren’t closing, but extremely happy we got to experience Sebastian! You guys are the best and wish you all a beautiful and safe Happy New Year!

Hotel was very nice and clean. Shuttle service was outstanding; longest wait time was 10 minutes. Christian at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. He was nice enough to move into a water view room. Wish we would have been able to stay longer ti enjoy the hotel more.

A great place to stay over the past several years for events in the area... especially the Nights of Lights Christmas lights in the area. Sad to hear that the College bought it for dorms and is closing it in mid-January.

Great hotel close to everything
We came to see the Nights of Lights around St. Augustine and they were very pretty. We stayed Monday - Thursday and it was not crowded at all. The hotel has a free shuttle (of course we tipped each time we used it) that runs into town from 10am to 10pm. You can also easily walk into town on your own which we did one morning as it was too early for the shuttle. The staff was wonderful and the young lady that checked us in was amazing. The only downer I can list was that the breakfast cost money and it was just your basic food that is normally free at other hotels. We didn't partake in breakfast. The also have a beer and wine social in the evenings. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the water and enjoyed watching the tides, birds and the dolphins. Would totally recommend this hotel.
