Situated in Davis Shores, this Saint Augustine pool home is in a great central location: One mile north is historic downtown, and one mile south is the entrance to the Anastasia State Park, the closest (and the best) beach in town. Spend a few days here and we think you'll agree: Davis Shores is the ideal Oldest City neighborhood. Quiet and peaceful, yet walking distance to some of the best breweries, bars and restaurants.

With three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two light-filled living rooms (each with their own Smart TV's), and a screened in pool, this property suits a variety of needs. While most of the homes original 80’s features still live on today (hello light pink bathroom tile!), it's furnished with brand new, comfortable mid-century flair, and designed for true vacation leisure.

In the backyard, you'll find a large, screened-in pool with an outdoor dining table and 5-burner propane grill, nestled beneath a massive live oak tree and surrounded by lush green foliage. Totally private, the screen enclosure also helps keep bugs away, making it the perfect spot to lounge during any time of the day.

With a fully stocked kitchen, plus a garage with washer and dryer, beach chairs, a cooler and an umbrella, you'll find everything you need for stays both short and long. (Discounts for longer bookings!) Plus, you'll find a custom welcome book with curated recommendations for fantastic local restaurants, beaches and activities.

Our home away from home was wonderful! The house was spacious, very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. We were in walking distance to many area attractions and restaurants. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

Great place in a great location!
Staying here was perfect for me and my partner and our two teens. We rented bikes for easy trips to the lighthouse, across the bridge to downtown, and to try out the local eateries (Sarbez and Mojo’s are amazing). And we were just minutes away from the amazing STA beaches. And what better way to cool off than to pop into the pool and then relax and grill or watch TV. We decided to make STA our family beach destination and this will be our base every trip!

Great Location
We recently stayed here for our son's college graduation that took place at the St. Augustine Amphitheater. The location was perfect! Less than 1 mile to downtown St. Augustine and about a mile to the Amphitheater. We walked to the Bridge of Lions which was so nice! The home is bigger than it appears in the photos and it's very clean! Zander was so responsive and helpful with our reservation and stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Great home in a great location
Enjoyed the home which was well appoiointed and comfortable. Very quiet neighborhood and even met a friendly neighbor. The location was convenient to the historic area, restaurants, shops, and beaches. Took the suggestion of Mantanzas Beach from the welcome info and it did not disappoint! Had a small issue with the pool but the owner was quick to respond to messages and had someone out to fix it right away. Very pleasant experience and would stay here again!

Outstanding pool home in St Augustine. Centrally located between historic St Augustine(walkable) and St Augustine Beach. If VRBO offered a 10-Star review this place would deserve it hands down! So close to everything St Augustine has to offer including, but not limited to, an almost endless offering of top-shelf restaurants & coffee shops(many walkable). Probably one of the finest short term rentals we’ve ever experienced. Better than the pictures!!

Rest and Recovery
One of our group has had some major heart problems with the latest having three stents. We all needed some breeze and rest and seafood to help the healing. This was the perfect place. Quiet, sweet house within a very short drive of town. Just up a couple of blocks is O’steens - a restaurant worth the drive itself! We couldn’t have had a better place! Wonderful!

Very cute house!
House is located in a quiet neighborhood. We were able to walk to dinner one night. We got an Uber to other areas very easily. House was very clean and decorated so cute. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking breakfast. It was perfect for our weekend getaway with friends. Owner always responded right away when we had questions. Would love to come back when it’s a little warmer to enjoy that awesome pool area!

We enjoyed a great 2-week vacation in this spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped home. As others keep noting, the location is terrific. Zander is a super-responsive host, and he supplies an excellent list of places to go and things to do in the area. We tried many of them and can vouch for the great quality of his recommendations! We had everything we needed, including a washer and dryer. Though we didn’t actually swim in the pool, it’s a fun patio area to hang out on. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Cozy home
Our family of 6 enjoyed our time here! The host was very communicative and checked in frequently to be sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. The close proximity to both the beach area and downtown St. Augustine was perfect. The property is very much as described. My only recommendation would be to add a few more items in the kitchen. We cooked dinner at home one evening and had some trouble finding pots and pans for everything we were making. Also a toaster would be nice for waffle breakfasts. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Wedding weekend and first time trip
First time to area did not disappoint. Zander had everything ready for us including the pool along with towels. We had one adult to each bedroom and we all slept good. We did day trips over the bridge into town for the wedding and then was able to eat near the house. Every restaurant we tried had good seafood. We had no trouble with pool or the home. Would love to make it a yearly trip and stay here each time! So much to see and do! Zander was very gracious and attentive, thank you so much

Great location -- close to everything yet feels like in a neighborhood
The property is just a pictured and actually feels more open. The kitchen was very well equipped, as result we cooked several nights. There is an amazing Chop Shop near by with the aged steaks and fish. Yum. Easy walk to the Lions Bridge, and the Light House. Getting to the beach is a bit longer as the entrance to the State Park is a mile and then it is about another mile or so to the beach. No issues for us!! We enjoyed walking everywhere including to Mass at the Cathedral on Sunday and to several wonderful shops near (including the chocolate shop!)

A perfect stay
This comfortable home was exactly what our family of 5 needed for a week-long stay in St. Augustine. I chose the home because it had a pool and was near my 11-year-old son’s sailing camp at the St. Augustine Yacht Club. I didn’t know when I booked the home that my 14-year-old daughter would be battling cancer during our stay. We had just one week between chemo treatments and radiation starting for a family vacation. This home provided the very best place for her to relax by the pool, swim, nap on the sofa and watch TV. When she felt up to it, we were close to so many attractions, good restaurants and fun things to do. We absolutely loved staying at this home. It had everything we needed. The neighbor we met was very kind. It was a safe, quiet neighborhood. We hope to book this home again next summer during sailing camp.

Girls Trip
This was great house for a girls trip! You're just over the bridge from downtown St. Augustine, and super close to some amazing restaurants. Make sure to check out the Kenyan Coffee House on that the corner of the main intersection, turning into the house's neighborhood. Mojo's for tacos is amazing, too, for a quick (and causal) bite to eat. The Conch House has amazing for seafood! Overall, the house was nice with comfortable beds. The kitchen has the bare minimum essentials, so if you're looking to stay in and cook, you might need to pick up a few things. There were beach/pool towels provided along with a few beach chairs, small soft cooler, and an umbrella for the beach. (They weren't spectacular, but got the job done!) We packed for the beach and drove over to The Reef restaurant because there's a public beach right in front of the restaurant that's less crowded. Plus, if you eat there you can park in their parking lot. Zander was amazing and great with communication! It was super easy and stress free to stay at his property! We'd stay here again. :)
