Located in a quiet neighborhood which borders the gorgeous, park-like northern border of the Matanzas River, the home is only a short walk to the riverfront park, convenient to dozens of restaurants and stores, and a 5 mile drive from historic St. Augustine and the beach! This home features three bedrooms, open kitchen and living space, and indoor and outdoor dining with pool views in a tranquil outdoor space. Bring your boat along to put in at the park just down the neighborhood street for a day of fishing a sightseeing along the beautiful St. Augustine waterways and inlets.

This vacation home has been thoughtfully furnished and equipped for every convenience and comfort of guests. Cook up breakfast in the fully stocked kitchen and enjoy a poolside cup of morning coffee before heading out for a jaunt on the river or taking in an attraction in the Old City. Soak in some sunshine at the beach or on the deck of your private pool. Grill out poolside in the lazy afternoon or just pick up dinner from one of the numerous nearby restaurants before kicking back to watch a family movie on the cozy sectional. Bedrooms are outfitted with fresh crisp linens and bathrooms with soft white towels and bathroom amenities.

Great River's Edge Property
Five stars all around to this property in St. Augustine. The house was better than described: neat and clean, well stocked and the pool was great. We stayed an extra day while hurricane Helene roared by. Surprisingly the neighborhood lost power that night but we left at sunrise and headed home.

Wonderful place to stay after the hurricane. They worked hard to get clean and ready even though the power was not on. We got power later that night and had a wonderful weekend with family! The pool was a much needed distraction to the craziness from Hurricane Heleen.

Great house close to the beach
Centrally located house. Didn’t take more than 15 minutes to downtown or the beach. The house was clean, spacious and cute. Our dog loved it there too. They gave us coupons to use for free products in old town which we had fun sampling. We would stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our stay at River's Edge Retreat. The house and lovely pool area were just as advertised. The house and kitchen were well stocked for our needs and beyond. Property managers were easy to reach and responded in a very efficient manner when we had a little problem with the tub draining in the hall bath. Neighborhood was very peaceful and we felt safe in the house which was very important to us. The house was an easy drive to everything in St. Augustine - down to the historic district, out to Anastasia Island and over to Villano Beach. Convenient to stores for grocery shopping, etc. I would recommend it and I would rent again...many thanks for the opportunity.

Beautiful and Convenient
Super clean, beautiful home!! The private pool and garden area were amazing and enjoyed by the whole family. It had every amenity we could possibly need, accessible, fully stocked kitchen, outdoor grill, lots of seating and plenty of extras to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Check in and check out we’re super easy. Convenient to downtown and beaches with minimal travel time. Would definitely stay here again!

Cute house, nice neighborhood. Short walk to the beautiful park down the road. Close to restaurants, grocery stores and historic district. For those that travel with their dogs there are stray cats in neighborhood. Neighbors are nice.

Like A Second Home
Me and my family absolutely loved this place! It was bright and open, and had everything we needed! The pool was wonderful and the heated aspect worked perfectly. Next time we come to the lovely city that is St. Augustine, we'll be staying here again. So close to everything! Our only gripe was that we weren't informed about someone coming to clean the pool, and we were startled when they came into the backyard area. Otherwise, everything else was amazing and we thank our hosts so much for creating a great space and making our vacation!

Inside nicely appointed- clean- One of the things for us, since we have a small dog was the little screened in garden area that we were able to utilize, instead of having to get dressed first thing in the morning to let him out. The pool is very relaxing at the end of the day. Kudos!!

Great place for a getaway!
Really enjoyed my stay here! The house was cute and clean. They provided everything you needed for a short stay, even beach towels for the pool! The pool was the perfect temperature and had fun color changing lights in it at night! It was close to everything. I would definitely book this place again!

This was a nice home in a safe neighborhood. Good area for walking. Easy location to visit the attractions in the area. Great place to come back and enjoy the pool on the backyard. The management company was very easy to deal with and addressed any of our concerns quickly. The biggest complaint we would have is the pool lanai is in rough shape with lots of rips in the screens and lots of debris on top. This caused some problems with the pool that the management company had to address. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

The house is very well stocked with everything you will need especially the kitchen. We had fun in the pool and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Easy access to sites and restaurants as advertised. Only problems were bbq is rusting and therefore hard to regulate. We also had a problem with dryer and although they were unable to fix while we were still there, the response was very quick. I know that is probably replaced by now. Thank you for a great stay at your beautiful house in this beautiful city.

Great home in St Augustine
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. It was located in a nice neighborhood, close (but not too close) to downtown St Augustine, biking/walking, and very well supplied with towels/household needs..We thought the pool was a bit cool, the owner responded promptly and within 12ish hours the pool maintenance worker was there checking it out. After that, the pool was great. The house felt very welcoming and the lanai space was perfect! If you play pickleball, Treaty Park is quite close and the players welcomed new people as well as offered competitive games. Also, check out Butcher and Bean (very close to the home) for any type of meat, etc. you might want. The staff there was so helpful and friendly. For seafood, we suggest Kyle’s or BJ’s. For lunch or dinner, Aunt Kate’s was our favorite. We loved the house so much that we already booked it for next year.

We had a wonderful holiday stay at this property! The location was perfect and even with the cooler temps we were able to get some swimming in! There was plenty of lounging area in the living room for us all to watch tv and the diningroom table was large enough to seat us all for Christmas Dinner and New Years Dinner! The kitchen was well equipped with pretty much everything we needed. The neighborhood was perfect especially with our dog ... the walking path at the end of the street along the creek was great! Will definitely check availability for this property again for our future visits to Saint Augustine.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay!
The moment we arrived to checkout, our stay was wonderful. Before finding River’s Edge Retreat it was difficult finding a place that allowed our 3 dogs. They’re all 50lbs +. I contacted the property manager & gave descriptions of our pups. He asked for a deposit & gave us the ok to bring them. We ENJOYED having them on vacation! Our Border Collie and mutt loved exploring around the pool. They were fascinated with all the smells and critters Florida had to offer. They do have a sign on the wall outside by the pool asking to keep dogs out of it. Our dogs don’t like swimming, so that wasn’t a problem. If you bring your dog and they do like swimming, keep in mind they don’t allow them in the pool. It was just my husband and I staying. We closed off the 2 extra bedrooms & bath to keep them untouched. I viewed them & they were nice & clean. The master bedroom was cozy & had a TV. We found the mattress in the master to be more comfortable than our bed at home. We took our dogs walking the neighborhood daily. The neighbors were friendly, & our dogs loved exploring the river. We saw a sea turtle right by the dock! I read reviews about the bottom of the pool coming up, the pool screen enclosure having holes, & the place having plastic ware. These were not issues when we stayed. The bottom was all intact. The silverware was nice too! & obviously the screen did its job. I got bit outside of the screened area. We loved the stone garden! I can’t say enough good things about the place!!!
