Designer's "Treehouse" just 4 Houses From the Beach!

The next best thing to beachfront! Grab your beach gear and walk just 2-5 mins to the quiet community beach entrance located only three houses away (this is not a popular entrance because there is NO public parking). Don't worry about bringing gear we provide your boards, toys, towels, beach wagon and umbrella.

Spend your evenings laughing and reconnecting as you roast S'mores around the fire pit or grill up dinner on the Weber grill. Enjoy long talks on the deck shaded in the day from the live oak trees and lit up at night with cafe lights hung overhead, all while listening to the lullaby of waves a few blocks away and savoring the ocean breeze.

Inside relax in a professionally designed home with name brand furnishings from stores like West Elm, Article and Crate and Barrel. Sleep all the kids in the bunk room that can sleep five or the room next door that sleeps an additional two. Parents escape to the top floor that we call "the perch" because it is perched among the trees, making you feel like you are sleeping in a luxury treehouse. Vaulted ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, and a private deck makes this is a primary suite dreams are made of and a place sweet dreams are made! Need to work, we have a desk in every room so any group can find a place to work remotely.

Want to explore historic St. Augustine? Easy-- we're just 7-10 mins from the historic area. Want to stay closer to home, take a walk to Aunt Kates riverfront restaurant or drive a few mins to famous Caps on the Water or the Reef restaurant both located on the water. Enjoy the laid back surfing vibe of Vilano community and wave to the neighbors as they zip by in golf carts.

Always our happy place!

This house has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Very close to St. Augustine and the beach. Very peaceful neighborhood and easy walk to the beach. There is also a playground with swings and slides for children an easy walk away.

Fantastic Location
We loved the location of this home. Super close to the beach and within walking distance of three restaurants, which was super convenient. Not having to worry about bringing beach gear or towels was a big plus! The main room upstairs gets a lot of natural light, especially early in the morning (no problem for an early riser). We enjoyed our stay in this home.

Wonderful Beach House
We loved our stay in this beautiful home. The weather warmed up so we could enjoy the outdoor sitting areas and the beach which is just a short walk down the road. It’s also close to all the fun and adventure that Saint Augustine has to offer. The owners were great and communicated everything we needed to know. This is an A+ vacation spot!

Great Versatile Vacation
My husband and I drove over with our four adult children, and I must say, everybody had fun! There was something for the athletic ones, something for those that wanted to just relax and read, something for the foodies in the group, and most of all, many options for the whole family to enjoy together. Saint Augustine was great and this home was the icing on the cake. :-)

This house was perfect for our girls getaway. The location is excellent for getting away from the busy city of St. Augustine while being only a 10 min. drive away. A short walk to the beach and then a nice deck with a grill to chill out, The kitchen was well stocked with small appliances and dishes. The house was filled with natural sunlight and decorated very nice with little touches of home, I highly recommend staying here and would do so again.

Family Getaway
We loved our stay at the tree house! The house was adorable, the yard and patio were wonderful. The kids enjoyed the swing in the backyard and the beach toys. It was very helpful to have the outdoor shower to rinse the sand off after a day at the beach, and we enjoyed grilling and eating on the patio for dinner to unwind after exploring St. Augustine. The walk to the beach was very easy and the beach wasn’t crowded at all. We all had plenty of space to relax and everything we needed was provided. We had a wonderful time and would love to visit again.

Peaceful, relaxing and rejuvenating stay in Vilano
5 weeks of pure bliss! Walked across the street each morning to see the sun rise just about every morning! It was such a relaxing 5 weeks continuing to “work from home” but out of the normal chaos of everyday craziness! I have already booked this house again for 2024!! Magical little area! Perfect!
This was the perfect getaway for our family. The home is fantastic and is a super quick walk to the beach. We used all the beach equipment which was awesome and had a wonderful time. When you want to go downtown it’s a quick drive over the bridge to shop and dine which we did every afternoon/evening. This is one we hope to revisit. We are only 3 hours away but this has been one of our family’s favorite trips. Don’t hesitate, you’ll love your stay!

Quiet neighborhoood close to beach
We loved this house. It was the perfect base for our trip to St Augustine. An Easy drive across the bridge to all of the activities but far enough away to enjoy the quiet neighborhood as well. Also only about three houses from the beach. The house was cleaned and well stocked. The owner was very responsive. Would highly recommend. The only thing I would mention is the main treehouse bedroom has a very low bed so for older persons with bad joints it might be a little challenging getting out of that bed. But the other bedrooms were normal height beds. But overall this was a wonderful property!

Best stay ever!
This house has a soul and positive energy vibrating throughout the property! We stayed around 5 weeks in this house and loved every moment of it. It is bright and airy and just a 2 mins walk to the beach. We particularly admired how functional the house is. I know now the changes we need to make in our own house to make it as functional as this property. Our son did his online school during our stay and we were working remotely and never faced any issues with the internet. There are 2 Roku enabled smart tv in the house which was amazing! The kitchen has everything that you can think of.... starting from a pizza cutter to ice cream scoops and more than enough cups , plates , dishes, mugs etc. Our son witnessed his first sunrise over the ocean and got to see the beach on a full moon night. It was magical in every sense of the way. We are not very adventurous as a family but I am so glad we decided to drive from our hometown Chicago to St Augustine and spend a few weeks in this lovely house. I do hope we get to go back soon and stay again in this house.
