needs a lot of work, ac was cool, but room stayed damp. We had to keep it high all day because it was not cooling properly. Welive at the beach, and I know that its damp, but not like this. Sheets felt damp, room felt damp, sticky. I would not rate this a well kept condo, it needs to be gutted.
When we checked in, we were given a room, but after I unpacked all my food, and groceries, they called and banged on the door saying they gave us wrong room. I asked for time to get my things together and would be down to the desk to get the different room, they were rude, banged at door, and stood over me like a child as I had to empty all my groceries back into my cooler to move my things. I kept asking them to give me a few minutes to make sure I gathered all of our toiletries etc, but they were persistent and started grabbing our suitcases tossing them onto the cart. I stopped him, said I was not happy about the way they were handling this, and that I have a really bad back, so I need a few minutes to gather my things so I won't forget anything. The Maid shows up and started cleaning, mind you, we were only in the room 30 minutes , enough to unpack food, and toiletries. I felt like I was treated very rudly. It was not our fault that they issued us the wrong room.
The other issue is parking. Do NOT rent property here if you expect to have your car near your room to unload, What a pain in the rear. I have had 2 back surgeries and it was not easy.
When we were pushed out , then dragged to the other room, we realized the difference in room quality. When I booked, I was only shown ONE room, and did not have a choice, so I really didn't know what were getting. The only thing that was nice was the view. It was a million dollar view, but a terrible room. Very uncomfortable. Sofa was horrible to sit on. The bed was not too bad. At least we slept.
We only live one hour north, and we live at the beach. We just wanted a little getaway from our usual routine. I was so thankful for my beach home when we got back. I would never rent from this place again.
BTW Shannon the Property Manager was very helpful and answered all my questions before we arrived. I don't think she was aware of the confusion with our room when we arrived, so I cannot blame her.
Other than that, the place was packed, restaurants need a 3 day reservation prior, so be prepared for that too.
Put in new AC system to remove the dampness, for starters, and remodel , get new sofa, cabinets, doors,
