This four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath home with four king beds will comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests, so bring the whole family!

Why choose between the beach and a pool? Carpe Diem has both! Swim in your own private, screened-in heated swimming pool or head just 125 hundred steps to the private, friendly beach.

The home contains bed & bath linens, a garden tub, hardwood floors…great care, and attention to detail – it provides a beautiful vacation! We pride ourselves on cleanliness and assure you of an extremely clean and inviting home upon arrival so that you may relax and enjoy your visit! There are a wide variety of amenities, including a Freezer, Microwave, Ice Maker, Oven, Ceiling Fans, Refrigerator, Wi-Fi access, Coffee Maker, Keurig, Cooking Range, Televisions, Cookware, Dish Washer, Utensils, Washer and Dryer, a Wet Bar, and much more.

The house is two levels, with beautiful landscaping outside and wonderfully decorated on the inside!

One hundred twenty-five steps to the beach from an easy path on one side and a 2-minute walk to the Inter-coastal Waterway on the other. This quiet but hip area of Vilano/North Beach is famous for surfing, paddle boarding, fishing, shark teeth hunting, and much more. You can walk, bike, or drive to many great restaurants within minutes. Our comfortable home is a 5-minute drive to the fun & activity-filled oldest town in America, St. Augustine! The Vilano Beach pier is a 2-minute car drive away (or a 40-minute beach walk), where you'll find a Publix Grocery Store and a mini outdoor mall. A local Post Office, Bait & Gear store, a boat rental facility and gas dock, a local pub, and more restaurants near and on the Intercoastal beach are in the same area. It is a 20-minute drive to the home of the PGA at TPC Sawgrass and a 2.5-hour drive to Disney World.

For an additional $200/week or less, the pool can be heated to a maximum of 84 degrees. Pool heat must be added to your reservation at least 48 hours before arrival. Please note that we do not heat the pool from Memorial Day through mid-September.

Contact with the property management was outstanding! They returned my messages super fast. Even though it was in a neighbor hood off the beach it took us less time walking to the beach than if we were in a condo on the beach. Easy crossing A1A to beach walkover. No stairs. Beach is not crowded and is a paradise for finding shells. This house is large so you won't be bumping in to each other. Great time with family.

Daughter's Wedding
We rented this house for my daughter's wedding at tge Lightener Museum. My parents and my sisters joined us. The house was perfect with every bedroom having it's own bathroom. The pool was also a hut with my niece and nephews. Would absolutely stay again.

We had an AC issue on 2nd day, but they were prompt on having their ac maintenance tech out to repair! The house is beautiful and accommodates plenty! Rooms are very nice! Pool was on the smaller side, but worked for our 4 children that loved it! We would definitely go again!

Perfect size and location
I rented this house for my whole family to stay, 12 of us, and we never felt crowded or smushed. We had plenty of room. The beach is right across the road, which was super easy to get too. We really enjoyed our stay. The only problem was the oven went on the fritz in the evening, but the company called me back first thing the next day. We would definitely stay here again’

The house, location and communication with property management were all excellent. The only cautionary comment that I have is regarding the size of the pool. If there are children involved, please note that the pool is quite small. However, the property is directly across the street from an ocean beach. All and all, very nice accommodations.

Great family house for beach vacation!
Our family of 9 (6 adults and 3 children) plus 2 dogs had a great week! Each bedroom has its own private bath and there was plenty of room for everyone. The only constructive feedback I have is that more hooks (i.e in the garage and bathrooms) would give a place to hang things, such as wet towels and bathing suits, after a day at the beach. We would love to stay in St. Augustine in this home again! Thank you for sharing it with us!

A Wonderful Week!
We enjoyed our week in St. Augustine. The house was perfect for our larger family group as each individual family had their own space and bathroom. The short walk to the beach was convenient and easy to manage for all in our group. Our group ranged from a 1 year old to a 74 year old and we all easily crossed the road to get to the beach. The neighborhood is quiet and very nice. While the pool is small, it was perfect for the younger members of our family. We will definitely be back!

We had a very nice stay... any of our concerns were addressed promptly only few small things and they took care of everything right away loved that it was close to the beach.... very nice home very well taken care of ... kitchen has all amenities Loved the screen in lanai yes the pool is small but nice to get in to and you can sit outside with no bugs... very comfortable for all... reminder All bedrooms are upstairs... we had a great stay and would come back again...

We loved this house - it is very well-maintained and in a lovely Florida beach neighborhood. We were only there one night and would have enjoyed staying longer. The only issue I had is that the listing has two single beds, but they are actually rollaway cots. Not a major issue and I may have missed the fine print.
