Waterfront home with dock, heated pool, & spectacular views- walk/bike downtown!

Our 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath home is located on Salt Run. We have a large back patio with outdoor dining and sitting area, 4 lounge chairs with umbrellas, firepit area, putting green with corn hole boards, outdoor ping pong table, a private heated pool, 3 kayaks, and a dock with floating dock for boat access. Fish, swim, kayak or paddleboard right off the dock or use one of our three kayaks to paddle across to Anastasia State Park and walk over to the ocean for an adventure. You can rent a boat (or bring your own) and tie it up at our dock during your stay. After a day of boating, touring the city, or visiting the beach, come back and take a dip in the pool. You can walk to a number of nearby restaurants and bars or even walk/bike to downtown St. Augustine to see the Fort and shop. We are a little less than a mile from the Bridge of Lions. Bring your bike (or use one of our 4) and explore Lighthouse Park and walk up to the top of the lighthouse for beautiful vistas. You are also biking distance to the Amphitheater for great concerts or check out the local Farmers Market there on Saturdays. Bring your camera and take pictures right off the back deck of numerous birds, dolphins, sea turtles and manatees. Collect oysters from across the Inlet or put our crab trap out and cook up some blue crab or your fresh catch for dinner in our fully equipped kitchen. Wake up and enjoy the splendor of the beautiful sunrises while having your morning coffee on the back deck. We welcome you to enjoy our little piece of paradise!
There is a smaller separate rental on the property but it does not share any amenities/spaces. The patio, pool, & dock are solely for main house guests.

Family time
Great place to spend time with family. The location was excellent. We enjoyed kayaking, ping pong and golf. The beds were comfortable. It was too cold to swim but we enjoyed the fire pit. The fireworks on the beach were amazing! We had beautiful views of the sunrise over the water. We hope to go back in the future.

Christmas in St Augistine
Great house for our family! We all wanted to be together at times and yet we wanted to all have our own spaces. The host had decorated a tree for us and had several holiday plaques and reminders of Christmas around. The kitchen was very well stocked. The drawbridge that had to be crossed to get into town goes up every 30 minutes or so and the wait to get across can be lengthy but otherwise, we had no difficulties.

Fantastic location with everything you need
Had a great stay here to celebrate parents 50th anniversary. Our group of 9 really enjoyed the area. Close to shops, beaches, and restaurants while still feeling secluded at the home. Spectacular home with great amenities
Not only was the home spacious with plenty of seating and sleeping accommodations...but the outdoor area was just as inviting with pool, fire pit, dock, outdoor dining and casual seating area. Our family made lasting memories. We named the sea turtles that hung out by the dock, kayaked several times to the nearby Anastasia Island, and rode bikes to downtown St. Augustine several times. I recommend this spectacular home!

Historic Florida at its Best!
Our family of 8 had a wonderful stay at your comfortable, spacious home overlooking the inlet. It was quiet and peaceful waking to the stunning sunrise each morning and plentiful stars at night. We loved the view of the Lighthouse from the deck, the close proximity to the culture and historic downtown and Anastasia State Park beach. We also enjoyed the many delightful amenities of the house: pool, kayaks, bicycles, putting green, grill and spacious seating indoor and out. We came from as far away as California, St. Louis and Ft. Myers and our adult children and grandchildren all loved it. It is tastefully decorated and provided a great kitchen to make meals. A wonderful vacation getaway!

A slice of heaven
This property exceeded our expectations. The house was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 4 kids. The layout offered everyone comfort and privacy. St Augustine in March for our 11 person group
Loved our 10 day stay. The property absorbed our 9 adult and 2 child/infant group easily. The kitchen is big enough for multiple people cooking and we all sat around the table to eat. The bedrooms are spacious and the sitting areas are perfect for hanging out. The outdoor space is very nice with a pool to cool off in, a fire area for evening wind downs and space for putting and cornhole competitions. We walked to downtown St Augustine a few times (lots of places to eat, shop, listen to live music), the Alligator Farm, miniature golf, and the Lighthouse - the bikes can be a good option for all these too (might want to bring a lock if you want to use them for excursions). More serious shopping, a number of beaches and an array of golf courses are available as well but we used our vehicles for those. The host was great with communications for all instructions and answering questions.

Awesome family trip to St. Augustine
We stayed at this property with our grown children and grandchildren- 8 adults and 2 small children. The house is perfect! So much space for large groups. Janet went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The location was great! We walked to downtown St Augustine and to the beach at the State Park. Location! Location! Location!
This place is absolutely perfect in every way! The view, the house itself, the space, the short distance to the city or attractions on the island and more. We had 8 adults staying for the Christmas holiday so it was a bit too cold to use the pool or kayaks and such but we did rent a boat 1 day since we had the dock to use. We all agreed we wanted to come back in warmer months to leverage all of the activities the home had to offer. Highly recommend!

My family of six stayed at this beautiful home over the Thanksgiving holiday. The home is beautiful - exactly as pictured! Plenty to enjoy at the house. My family of 8 stayed for 7 nights at this wonderful property and loved every minute of it. Inside is comfy and unique with different levels providing privacy for everyone. The 4 upstairs bedrooms share 2 bathrooms and there's a half bath downstairs as well. The sitting area and loft were great places for gathering in smaller groups and the large family room downstairs had room for all of us. The master suite is gorgeous with a full sitting area and direct access to the pool. Outside we spent most nights around the firepit and days in the heated pool where we had full sun until about 4pm. Walking the long dock in the morning we saw sea turtles, dolphin, loads of birds, and used the kayaks to be a part of it all. We had zero luck catching crabs but it was fun to try! The vibe of the marina and inlet is soothing and provides an ever-changing backdrop for a wonderful stay. Strong wifi, plenty of parking for our 4 cars, no shortage of towels for showers and for the pool, access to bikes, and the location mad for easy trips into St Aug for eating, drinking, and sightseeing. Janet, the host, was always available when we had questions and even gifted us tickets to a concert that she was unable to use right down the road. Four of our kids attended and had a fantastic time on our last night. It was so generous and really appreciated! I highly recommend this lovely home for your stay.

When someone says you will see dolphins, sea turtles, manatees and many different birds you are always sceptical. Here it is true! The house is lovely. Beds comfortable. A/C great. And we never missed the beach. Thanks Janet for a wonderful house to stay in while making wonderful memories.
