Enjoy your stay @ 1st Street Retreat, a newly updated DOG FRIENDLY open concept studio apartment with private entrance and fenced in yard. Location is 1 block to the beach and walking distance to all your favorite restaurants like the famous Taco Shop right on the corner, Mango Mangos, Beach Comber, Café Eleven, Sunset Grille, Salt Life and the best ice cream in town Cone Heads.

Get in the car and take a quick 7 minute car ride to historic downtown and enjoy all it has to offer.


The outside retreat consists of outdoor shower which is great after a day at the beach with your dog, Propane BBQ, table and chairs, a propane fire pit for those cool relaxing evenings which goes perfect with a glass of wine.
We also provide beach chairs, beach towels, and beach cart.

Inside you will enjoy the beach feel of the open concept apartment with free wireless internet, Smart TV for streaming. Dog friendly floors, King size bed, kitchen with stainless steel appliances which consist of oven, microwave, Keurig coffee machine, toaster oven, blender, dishes, cups, bowls, silverware etc. Bathroom with walk in shower and all amenities you need.

We allow up to 2 dogs, there is a dog fee of $75.00

All you need to do is pack your clothes and your dog and come and enjoy our little retreat.

Super clean, great location, wonderful hosts who were extremely welcoming. We had a great time exploring the area and walking the beach with our dogs. Weekend Getaway
We came down to St. Augustine Beach from South Carolina for a long weekend with our Great Dane. The house is perfectly located just two blocks from the beach and is safe and private. Walking distance to great food and coffee is a plus as well! It is a perfect studio for two people and has enough room for the pooch too. We would absolutely recommend and will likely return!!

Location couldn't be better... Such a short walk to the beach, which is exactly what I was looking for! Also very close to many restaurants and bars for quick drinks and eats! The dogs truly loved the fenced in backyard and grass area. The simple kitchen was well stocked and the grill outside made cooking our own meals super easy! Communication with Lisa was easy and quick! Thank you for maintaining this adorable pet friendly beach house, it truly made my birthday trip that much more memorable!!
