"This little apartment was a great jumping off point for our weekend in the Mosel Valley. We were able to park in front of the hotel at night for free with the blue parking ring. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Soap in the shower, extra bathmats for the bathroom floor (there is no door on the shower so water splashes around), in addition to a small vacuum (the clean freak in me was thrilled) and a tablet with information about the hotel and area. "Very cute boutique hotel if you want to stay at a quiet area that's a train ride away from Konstanz. The rooms are very nice and we got the room with the balcony. There are very steep and narrow stairs to go to the room so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues and a lot of luggage. Staff is very friendly and check in was a breeze. Parking is free but a little far from the hotel itself, but still walkable."

"No reception and was left in the cold for over 40 minutes to check in ! no heat in room , was not given any wifi in formation for the room , the next day got the password but in the room it was no signal . The shower arrangement is bad , no extractor fan in the room for the shower. Overall very disappointing , breakfast was ok. "

"Very nice property and staff at reception and housekeeping is very friendly. Staff provided a wheelchair (post surgery) and the property was easy enough to navigate. The only downside, I am sorry to say, is the breakfast. On a Saturday morning it was chaotic with everything from bread to cold cuts and plain cheeses being gone. You had to ask for coffee mugs. "A 4-star hotel (despite rating). Pulls out all the stops to upscale from lovely little entrance with red velvet ropes to well-designed rooms and elegant breakfast room and personal service. The location may be a bit pedestrian but it's a block from main shopping promenade and easy walk to the confluence of the Rhein and Mosel which is a gorgeous promenade and must do. Loved this hotel. A real gem."

"This is a lovely hotel right on the river. We were in a room on the top floor with a small balcony, which had a great view. The staff were friendly and breakfast was good. We found the beds to be a bit soft, but thats a personal preference thing. Parking is available along the river for 4euro a day and you get a ticket that allows free travel on the trains and buses locally for the duration of your stay."

"Beautiful wooded location. Clean comfortable room. There is an interesting animal reserve next door. Lots of free parking. My only suggestion for improvement is to provide a bar of soap and shampoo. I thought the breakfast was decent but not great with no cooked food available. These minor points don’t detract from how nice a place this is. "

"Basic, but great accomodation! Everything was very clean and in nice condition. There are no staff to greet you and many stairs with no lift, but this was not an issue for us (I say it only to make it clear for people reading) There is also a kitchen downstairs to cook your own meals."

"Buses right in front of the property. Easy to get groceries too! There’s a mall across the street — good for some quick shopping. Love the convenience to get food nearby and even some drinks by the hotel lobby. Toilet sliding door can be smoother. The damaged marks on the walls are evident. Other than that, love it! "

"We spent five nights in this unique hotel with a fascinating history. It is set by the River Lahn in the beautiful spa town of Bad Ems. The facilities such as the thermal pool were superb and we made full use of them. The staff could not have been more helpful, the room was really clean and comfortable and the food excellent. It is unashamedly old-fashioned but is full of character and we had a superb holiday there. Highly recommended!"

A Wonderful Stay

"My wife and I, on the Rheinsteig hike, stayed at the Hotel Belavista and we are so happy we did. From the moment of check-in, Roberto, the owner, took care of us and made sure we were set up for a comfortable stay. The hotel is right on the Rheine river waterfront, and the views are great. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was very good italian cuisine. In the morning, we were greeted once again by Roberto, who made sure we were set up with a good breakfast to continue our journey. This is a good place to stay, and we feel good about recommending to others. "
