I travel for work so spend about 250 days a year in a hotel. This trip was a personal trip and as a regular user of hotels.com I just made the booking after seeing some reviews and YouTube vlogs of this place.
I rarely write reviews, mostly when things are above and beyond or if they are outright unfair.
For this hotel I would say that it was later, things were completely off the hook. I do read the fine print while making the reservation and made sure what the room had before making the booking.
Upon arrival, the property is well known and well located if you want to be in the city. Has good security, and an amazing restaurant with really courteous staff but the hotel staff is different.
I read a review about how everyone would chase you tips and did find that to be case right from the arrival. The staff at the front desk aren’t really that great and the room was off from the fine prints that I had read. When I discussed the same with front desk, I was told that this is what the reservation they have received and there was not discussion. It was a little but like door slammed on your face especially when you travel as much as I do it is really unnerving. The Superior Rooms has no AC not matter what the webpage says and is not a good choice when you are going in summers or winters. If you wish to stay for more than a night, I would look for more options as there are many at this price point.
The first two hour was sufficient to know that the vlogs were cosmetic.
