"This turned out to be very nice. We didn’t not realize the bathroom was a pit toilet and there is no electric on the property. All this being said we really did like it. We slept well, the outdoor shower was awesome. Spent a lot less time on getting ready. A plus when you are going hiking anyway. The pit toilet is a pit toilet. All in all we enjoyed our stay."

"Clean bathrooms with showers. You could even use the house if you didn’t want an outdoor shower. The caretaker was super nice!"

"Loved being so close to Sequoia Park, and truthfully we mostly used it just to rest before and after the park. I did find myself wondering why the quilts were ugly-side-out. The area around where the rooms are was a little worse for wear. But the room was clean enough, and I really, truly loved the sheets that were on the bed."

National Park Visit

"The steps outside could use some repairs but overall room was comfortable and just on a beautiful mountain. Be aware roads are very windy and narrow to get up there and stop for food before you do. Was great for late night star gazing. The host was amazing and very knowledgeable and helpful. He lead a couple nights of star gazing and pointed out the Atlas Comet, several satellites and planets. He took a map out for us for Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon and pointed out all the most sees. When we got there, he was spot on. "

"The lady that checked me in was so nice and sweet she made sure I got my room my credit card was no going thru and the lady took time to called me and let me know what was going on I immediately took action and went to the hotel to fix it I appreciate her for calling me because I would’ve been left with no room… thank you to the front desk lady you rock!"
