Simple but Cozy
I booked this for my daughter who is looking to relocate to Western Mass from Central Mass and it was perfect for her. The host was extra helpful and accomodating, and while it was a small and simple space, she was very comfortable and cozy. She would definitely stay again.

Wasn't worth what we paid!
Holes in the walls. Dirty. Dead bugs in the ceiling lights. Vrbo pictures are not current. Heater was preset to max at 64. No blankets.

Six flags get away
Perfect little house 20 minutes from six flags. Bathroom looks like it was recently updated as well as kitchen appliances. it's a little dated but who cares the price was right. Much more relaxing and comfy than a hotel room.

Nice Stay
We came for Brimfield and just needed a reasonable place to stay. This is a little old , not updated, two bedroom one bath house. Not fancy by any means but clean,comfortable and safe.

Perfect for a short stay. My family lives in Springfield so I went to celebrate my 70th birthday with them but didn’t want to impose on family or just get a hotel room. Everything was just as advertised. Quiet neighborhood, could use a little updating.

I was looking for an inexpensive place to stay and I had no illusions that it would be much more than "adequate." And it was entirely adequate for our purposes. We got in late, we were out early and it was a good place to spend what time we had. Love the Christmas tree in the TV room. Nice touch. And the price was right.

Convenient but in need of TLC.
The property is very convenient to WNE. There were quirks and things that need repair. It is like staying at a college student house. Be aware there are not the typical VRBO amenities like bath soap, hand towels, shampoo and coffee. A few weekends of TLC and several gallons of paint, and this could be a real treat. Note: the basement is listed on a different service.

Comfortable but worse for wear
This property had highlights like well-functioning AC units during a summer stay, comfortable beds, a nice couch, and a good variety of tv channel options. Unfortunately, the spacious kitchen was not stocked with tools for cooking despite having plentiful plates and bowls. The property also appears to have been abused by past guests as evidenced by damage to the walls and doors. This is a nice, little house - please be kind to it.

Fidelis demonstrated exceptional professionalism throughout our interaction. He was remarkably accommodating, consistently honest, and promptly addressed any inquiries I had, usually within minutes. On the rare occasion that he couldn't respond immediately, he took the time to provide an explanation and offer his apologies. Recently, my son relocated to this area for work, and thanks to Fidelis, I can now rest assured that my 24-year-old son, who has yet to experience living on his own, is safe and comfortable. Fidelis's respectful nature is evident in his property as well. Moreover, he was under no obligation to inform us when another guest booked the basement, but he graciously kept us informed of any changes. This entire experience has been truly remarkable, and as long as Fidelis's properties are available, it will be my pleasure to book with him. I wholeheartedly recommend him and his place. Ms Cameron

The owner did not disclose that someone was living in the basement. There was a door that connected the basement to the rented living space, and we only discovered that someone was down there by hearing sounds. We could not be sure that the basement door could not be unlocked from the basement side, and so did not feel safe staying there. We left, and the owner is refusing to reimburse us. I would not recommend this unsettling / frightening experience to anyone. Anything but cozy.

Untrue description
Three of our friends booking this house for 6 days. After checking in, i found that the condition of the room was compoletely different from the description. He said that there were 2 beds in each of the 2 rooms, but in fact there was only one. We were traveling with 3 adults, it was impossible to sleep on 2 beds. He said there was a kitchen with utensils, but there was nothing, it was just am empty kitchen without any cooking utensils. He said there was a free breakfast, but there was only box of cereal. This made it impossible for us to continue to stay. I contact with the host the next day that i wanted to move out early and refund the remaining rent. He agreed, but i never received the refund, after sereral email discuss, he refused to refund the money. If you want a happy trip, avoid this house, don't be fooled by the advertising

Not as advertised
There were several things wrong with the house. Took a video of how the house looked and now the owner who when he finally did come to visit us introduced himself as someone else. He basically had lied to us. Now he is accusing us of damaging the house and is attempting to charges for things that were broken and in disrepair upon our arrival. Very poor communication and a very dishonest host. We canceled our second visit with him and lost a lot of money. The money that we spent and the money that he kept that should be plenty to get the repairs done that should have been repaired prior to our stay. If you read further into the comments left by other visitors stating things such as the kitchen faucet being loose and nearly falling off and the hallway being very slanted and dangerous for guests. Just a very disappointing stay especially on our honeymoon.

OWNER IS NOT UNDERSTANDING / NOT FOR OLDER GUESTS
Booked house for 5 days with my mother (73). The house has some issue with the hallway slanting to one side. If you have anyone that is not steady on there feet this is not going to work. When we contacted them, stating we felt on safe and would have to find other housing and requested a PARTIAL refund for the days that we were not staying. The owner said that "the evaluation done before you shows nothing as to post safety risk to guest" so we will not be getting a refund. I understand that not all guest have the same concerns however I would have hoped they could work with us. The house had a few minor things, beds and couch were not comfortable. The faucet for the kitchen sink seemed like it was going to come off, when we used it and the water/ice didn't work for the fridge. The blinds had some missing pieces and only sheer curtains. But it was clean and that was all the representative seemed to care about. GFSF

We didn’t find anything cozy about this property. The Christmas decor tacked to the wall in August was creepy if anything. It was boiling hot when we arrived and took a while to get the ACs on and cool the place down. I felt safe enough since there were two of us, but the place was not in good shape and felt sketchy. Seeing a mouse running around and apparently living under my bed was the last straw and we would have left if it hadn’t been the middle of the night. Instead I spent the night googling “will mice crawl on you in the night” and needless to say did not sleep well. In the morning we were woken up early to move the car, which could have been communicated as a potential issue the night before. Overall it was not a good experience and I wouldn’t stay here again.

3 uncomfortable noghts
The house was anything but cozy ended up finding out somebody was living in the basement while we were renting upstairs when contacting the owner, he said don’t worry about it, The door to the basement connects to the hallway of the upstairs, which gave us everything to worry about, Everyone is safe. The apartments across the street had a bunch of young kids gathering in front of it, half the night After the first night it started to cool off and when I turned the heat on, it wouldn’t work so we kind of used extra blankets and made it the through the night and left at 5 AM the next morning. I will never rent this place again. This is the worst of my nine rentals in the last four years in Massachusetts to see my child at Westfield state The same issues as the other people had in the house, the sink faucet seem like it was falling off, the icemaker didn’t work. The handle in the shower seem like it was going to fall off. When we went to clean up, I went to throw the garbage away in the trashcan outside was completely full.

Enjoyable Visit
Picon Cozy was a great place to rest our weary heads. The neighborhood was quiet and the lodging/amenities met our needs very nicely. We'll definitely consider this place for future visits to the Springfield area 😊.
