Beautiful property, a river runs through it snd a nice area with bench swings and a fire pit.
great hosts- very welcoming and friendly. Stayed as it was close to state parks, also a very nice winery near by.
Yvette and Jeff are amazing hosts! Their home is comfortable and charming. If you want a quiet and peaceful getaway, this is the place. By the way, breakfast is awesome. Especially the caramel rolls.
My daughter and i were seeking a restful place to stay in the lanesboro/Preston area. We had events and a wedding, this place was perfect! Close to both towns, lots to do and dining options yet off the beaten path to feel like we were on a retreat. The hosts were so welcoming but also gave us space. Their property is beautiful and peaceful we would def stay again!
The property is a lovely B&B in an idyllic setting with very gracious hosts. It was a perfect base for our weekend bike rides and river tubing. And a great place to come back to relax.
This was a wonderful property and the hosts were the best we have ever had. The breakfast was outstanding. We came to ride our trikes on the Root River Trail and the location worked perfectly. If you need a good getaway this property is for you.
We were warmly greeted by Yvette and Jeff. The lower level of their house is filled with light and nicely decorated. Very relaxing after a long day of driving. Enjoyed the chickens, rooster, dogs and cat. AND the marvelous breakfast with homemade cinnamon rolls. Thanks for the wonderful stay.
We loved our time at Rustic Valley, from fun at the pool table, and relaxing around the fire pit, to our fabulous breakfasts and time with Yvette in her kitchen. I would definitely recommend!
We really enjoyed our time here! Yvette was so nice and makes a great breakfast! The small river running through the property was refreshing to relax next to! We look forward to coming back!
Location on creek was fantastic! Our family caught a lot of fish & enjoyed first campfire with toddler.
Yvette & Jeff we’re both pleasant & breakfast was an added bonus!
We enjoyed our stay for a weekend getaway without the kiddos. We enjoyed the proximity to biking venues and Yvette is a welcoming host and spoils you with her amazing breakfasts! We look forward to going back again.
Enjoyed the serene and peaceful beauty of the property and area. Hosts are very gracious and catered to our needs. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and come back again!
Was such a welcome retreat after driving 11 hours in hellish winter weather. The hosts are wonderful, the accomdations are terrific, and the smell of the cinnamon rolls coming down those stairs in the morning was to die for!
It is out in the country. Lots of stars at night. Comfortable bed. Clean and up to date space. Owners are very nice. Great breakfast. Cinnamon rolls are delicious. Property is close to two State Parks. Wineries and breweries nearby. Will recommend to my friends. We will stay again.
I can't say enough great things about our stay! The house was spectacular, our hosts made sure we had everything we needed...including a dog to play with, and we felt so welcome, it was like staying with family, only better:) the breakfasts were incredible home cooked meals, the bed was super comfy, and seeing the Amish buggies go by regularly was an added special treat. Midwest vacations, and this property are hidden gems... don't miss out, book today!!
