Pictures really do not do this place justice. It’s a beautiful home inside and out with a gorgeous backyard. The inside was clean and host very responsive. Our group could not have been more pleased. We will definitely return.
A great house. So we’ll done, with beautiful accents all over. Steve (owner) was so nice to work with and very accommodating to our questions and needs. Enjoy your stay!
Overall we were very pleased with our stay. A few minor things came up to be attended to (electricity in second floor bath didn't work under the sink, cooling the home was an issue but it was hot outside!). We loved and appreciated the extras like having a laundry room with supplies and a working kitchen to make meals. The home is clean and comfy. Being on a busy street meant we could hear the traffic at times, but not a deal breaker for renting again. Thank you for having this as an option. We had at times 7 adults in the home and we had plenty of space to roam.
We stay in Spring Lake every summer. This house is stunning. Whomever created the updates had a wonderful way of keeping the original historic charm with the convenience of todays world. The kitchen I could live in. The second floor bathrooms shower is a modern day dream, while the third floor bathroom is beautifully romantic and peaceful.
The backyard area is great. It backs up to the bike/walking trail that my daughter and I love about Spring Lake.
Anything I write could not do this house justice. Its an experience you need to have for yourself.
Elizabeth is a wonderful host and we thank her for her hospitality.
This is a great spot to stay in Spring Lake. House backs to nice walking trails and is downtown near restaurants and other amenities. We have family nearby and will stay at this house again the next time we visit.
We have stayed in this home on two separate locations and have loved it! The home is cozy with roomy shared living space. We love the big yard and direct access to the bike trail! It is also so centrally located and easy to get around Spring Lake and to Grand Haven. Even the library is directly across the street, which has a wonderful children's area. It is along a busy road, but we have honestly never heard/felt it while inside, only when trying to pull out if the driveway which can be a bit of a challenge at times. We had some minor hiccups throughout the week (issues with the Internet router, chirping smoke detector battery) and really appreciated the prompt attention of the local property manager, Elizabeth!
The house was spacious, very well-equipped kitchen, linens, etc. It was perfectly located for a family wedding in Spring Lake and fun at the beach in Grand Haven. The owner was very quick to answer questions. Loved our time!
We love the Dacha! It's a great house and it's a great location, quick drive to the beach, walkable to some restaurants, ice cream, coffee. the owners were lovely to work with.
There were 3 families that stayed at this property, six adults and five children between the ages of 1 and 7. The layout of the house worked out perfect for us for sleeping arrangements and bathrooms. There was even a bonus kids room with some toys and books on the main level, and a swingset in the back yard. The property had access to a walking/biking path behind the house, which also was nice to be able to go on walks/bike rides with the kids. The main level of the house had an open feel, which allowed you to still feel connected to friends and family while working in the nicely furnished and updated kitchen. The driveway was located on a busy street, which could be difficult to pull out of. The owner was responsive and helpful with anything we needed. Overall, I would highly recommend this property.
Perfect set up for our group of 4 couples and one toddler. Plenty of room on the first floor to hangout and cook dinner. The kitchen was great and well-stocked. Very unique decor which was comfortable and inviting. The backyard was fabulous and even had a swing set which was not mentioned in the vrbo listing. The house is located within walking distance of 2 coffee shops and restaurants. Our group loved walking for coffee in the morning. We also enjoyed the bike trail behind the house. Short drive to all that Spring Lake and Grand Haven have to offer. The only drawback was the traffic noise in the evening in the street facing bedrooms but sound machines are in the rooms.
We had a great time! House accommodated all of our needs and then some! Good bathrooms and bedding situation. A/C worked very well.

Enjoyed our stay
Good location, but on a busy street. Nice home, but could’ve been cleaner. (Floors not very clean and garbage wasn’t taken to curb from previous renters?). Rooms were nice. Outdoor space was nice but fire pit area was needing some attention. Winston (neighbor dog) was sweet and playful!
Beautiful home located close to a ton of stuff to do. Love the walking/bike path at the back of the property. Home was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. Great stay for the whole family.
Beautiful rental property that accommodated my whole family. Everyone had their own space and the main floor brought us all together. The large dining table was great with the breakfast bar and sitting room on either side. The high-end kitchen was well stocked. There was so much attention to detail and my grand kids age 3, 11 and 16 had a blast with toys, games and a fabulous backyard space. We had sat around the fire pit several nights and went to Grand Haven beach and downtown everyday. Thank you for a great stay!!
This house was perfect for everything we needed for our little summer vaca to Michigan! We loved the bike trail and gorgeous backyard, house had everything you needed, and the proximity to everything was amazing! A few things we loved around the area: The Village Baker, Rosey Mound Nature area (loved having a private little beach to play in!), The Front Porch ice cream, PJ Hoffmaster park.
House was beautiful and clean Beds were comfortable. Great layout for our 2 families (4 adults and 5 kids: ages 12-15).
We go to Grand Haven every summer for SITS (soccer in the sand). This house has been our favorite so far. Only 8 minutes from the beach (by car).
Unfortunately we didn’t have great weather this weekend so we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the back yard… but there’s always next year…
Lots of space, a beautiful outdoor area, and a great location in Spring Lake. Steven, the owner of this property, was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had. My group and I enjoyed our stay very much.
This property was perfect for our group of 9 adults. The best equipped kitchen of any rental property we have stayed at. The location in Spring Lake was perfect and was close to everything, especially the bike path right out the back yard. Our only complaint was that it was on a very busy road and it was hard to get out of the driveway or cross the street to enjoy the various markets in the church parking lot across the street. Ample parking for our 4 vehicles and 9 bikes. Everyone had a great time and the homeowners were very nice and easy to work with and communicate with. The house was very clean and well cared for and loved all of the extra towels and beach towels! The definite bonus was the sweet dog, Winston, next door at the B&B. He was always there to greet us when we left in the morning or came home in the afternoon or evening. We would all definitely stay at this location again.
This home has so many beautiful accents as well as being well stocked with virtually everything you may need to make your stay comfortable. With other rentals, it’s not uncommon to find accommodations tired and worn compared to the listing photos. That is not the case here-no surprises-and that’s a good thing!
