Great Colonial Manor Experience
My husband, myself, 2 adult kids, and 3 of their friends stayed at this wonderful house. We were in town for a wedding. The grounds of the house were fun to walk around. We sat on the rear porch and at the fire pit and it was lovely. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. We had one member of the trip who had recently had knee surgery, so he stayed downstairs on the futon. There are no bedrooms downstairs. We had a great time and visited The Grand Ole Opry, Franklin, and Murfreesboro. My only suggestion would be a couple more blankets and extra sheets. Other than that the house was perfect! Thank you!

The pictures are nothing like the property itself. The inside of the house is fine but outside is falling apart. Upstairs deck is unsafe as railings are falling off. Grass not cut and it had been dry so no excuse for that. The yard service showed up on Sunday in the pouring rain to cut the grass. The first 2 days there it was dry and we had small children but could not play outside as the grass was 6 inches deep! Driveway was full of pot holes and when it rained was very muddy and slippery in places.

spacious and quiet
First, we would like to thank the property management team for allowing us to reschedule our week of vacation from July to August due to a death in the family. During our first few days of stay, we discovered problems with the gas grill and the coffee maker and the issues were resolved in less than 24 hours. The property is spacious and secluded which is what we were looking for. We enjoyed nightly bon fires and deck/patio time. There is a walking path/trail near the property which is an added benefit to this location.

Birthday Trip
The house is beautiful and looks just as advertised. The property itself is large and was an amazing space to unwind. The firepit was my favorite. It was so fun to hang out in the backyard with the fairy lights after a long day in town. Overall I would say they stay was relaxing and we had an amazing time. It’s so quiet and I loved the privacy. However, there are a couple of areas for improvement. We noticed that the larger blanket in the room with the porch had not been washed. It was in a plastic cover and looked like it had been dry cleaned but had hair, lots of dust and was stained. We noticed that the floors under the beds and nightstands had lots of crumbs and hair and looked like they had not been cleaned. Same with the bathrooms. It seems like they were surface cleaned before us but could use some housekeeping improvement. The washer and dryer had a very strong musty smell, most likely from not being used and could use some airing out. And lastly the refrigerator was very gross. It was very dirty and looked like it had never been cleaned. I think these are pretty easy fixes, but overall should not be a reason not to rent out this phenomenal place! The kids loved it and loved the amount of space they had to run around. A few additional suggestions: More drawer space And full length mirrors However I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone for a great family/friend vacation

Colonial Manor
Our family really enjoyed our visit to Nashville and staying at Colonial Manor. The house is lovely, very clean, the kitchen was stocked fairly good( needed can opener which we purchased and left for next renter, plus dish cloths and dish towels. The mattress are comfortable. There are a few repairs that need to be done to make the renters stay even better.

Awesome little getaway spot!
Overall we loved our stay. My only point of feedback is that I think the house is due for a deep clean. It had clearly had some level of cleaning done, so this is in no way a complaint-- just feedback. Other than that, it is as advertised. A wonderful oasis tucked away just outside Nashville. It's near everything you could want in a trip (food, activities, scenery, touristy stuff, etc.), and also secluded enough to feel like a relaxing getaway.

Disappointed
Upon arrival the first thing noticed was the grass mowing was long overdue & up to my knees, too high to enjoy the fire pit or outside activities. I contacted the property manager and was told this is Tennessee and grass is growing quickly because of recent rains but they would contact the owner to mow (never mowed & hadn’t been mowed in several weeks). Inside was in need of a good cleaning, fridge/freezer was filthy, one of two tvs no remote. Bottom line, the pictures misrepresented the property.

Cute property, needs to be cleaned
The house and property were charming; however, this was overshadowed by the fact the house was incredibly dirty. The floors were filthy and sticky, to the point our children’s and baby’s clothes were turning brown after crawling on the floor for a short while. Many of the linens were not cleaned, one of the beds had sheets that were stained and had hair in them. The towels smelled like they were not washed. We went out and spent $100 worth of cleaning supplies to make the house functional. We rent many properties for our vacations, and this was the worst cleanliness we have ever seen. I would suggest changing cleaning services or auditing their work.

Beautiful secluded property
Our family of three + one dog had a great fall break at this beautiful property. The house is beautifully decorated, and we found it very clean, with nice, comfortable beds and a kitchen well equipped with everything you would need to prepare and serve any type of meal (the cook in our family LOVED the excellent chef knives, in particular). The grounds are gorgeous and so nice to have as running and exploring space, especially if traveling with kids and dogs. The property is located within a few minutes of highway 65, which took us both south to the great Scott's Orchard, a century farm with delicious apples, fresh apple cider and other country store goodies (about an hour away), but also into Nashville, to awesome restaurants (highly recommend a Turkish Kurdish restaurant named Edessa) and to Percy-Priest lake sailboat marina for the most gorgeous sunset sail with our friends at SailNashville (about 45 minutes off rush hour from the house). We would definitely try to book this property again for any future visits to Nashville.

Family visit, birthdays & Mother’s Day.
The property is beautiful however it needs some care. There was no propane for the barbecue, no laundry detergent, no kitchen staples such as foil, etc. The oven didn’t appear to ever have been cleaned. We had to buy propane, trash bags, toilet paper, detergent, etc. The property was great for a large gathering.

Absolutely Perfect
From the moment you come up the drive everything is perfect. Beautiful outdoor spaces invite you to sit and unwind. Tire swing, Cornhole and fire ring for s'mores make for even more fun. The house is clean and welcoming, beds comfortable with plenty of pillows. Two separate tv areas so the men can watch the game and kids can still be entertained. We will be back!

Nice house! Just as described.
My wife and I rented this house for our sons wedding reception. Kevin was great in communicating and was also allowed us to use the extra chairs and tables stored on premises. The kitchen was well equipped and very clean upon arrival. We had a lot of rain the weekend of the wedding so we weren’t able to use the yard space. Would definitely rent this place again when in Nashville for a special event.

Tennessee Adventure
The house and property were beautiful at first sight and would be excellent for an event but staying a week reviled the cracks. The house was not clean. I spent a lot of time cleaning floors and dishes before we used them. There was dust, dirt and dog hair on all the dishes not stored in the cupboard. The floor had giant dust bunnies and feathers all over. Under the beds were gross! The "gourmet kitchen" was lacking and the "whisky bar" did not have any bar tools. Specifically to memory...no cocktail shaker or shot glasses for measuring drinks. The corkscrew to open wine was old and rusted and actually broke when we tried to use it. The coffee bar was cute and the local coffee sample was a nice touch but the actual coffee pot and grinder did not reach the plug on the "coffee bar". It all had to be relocated in the kitchen to use. The fire pit area was one of the pictures that made us choose this property but we did not use it. It was small, old, rusted and dirty filled with cigarette butts from the previous visitors. There was not a promise of firewood but the wood found on the property had some kind of moldy rot on it. There were hornets nests outside on the balcony, front door and backdoor areas which made it impossible to enjoy those areas. There was dog poop left in the yard. Our kids stepped in it. We left a few items behind to help the next guests. We left 2 over sized proper cocktail ice cube trays, a small food processor and a 100 foot hose. We did contact Kevin while were there to let him know how dirty it was and to let him know the attic window was open and they could possibly have a bird problem. (Because of all the feathers) His only response was, "We'll look into it." It was not very reassuring. Considering how nice the pictures looked and what the house actually was in contrast and the high cost to stay there I don't think it was worth it. I think they need to clean better and be better stocked with the things they claim they have to justify the amount they are charging to stay there. There is a lot of room for improvement.

Great Multi-Gen Family Vacation
We had a great time and enjoyed the house and grounds. From evenings with yard games under the twinkle lights and s'mores at the fire pit and great conversation on the porch. Kid loved the tire swing and playing basketball! We had plenty of room and made a few trips downtown and rented a boat on the J.Percy Reservoir. One more full bathroom would have been helpful for all 11 of us... but it didn't slow down or inhibit our fun! And the owners could not have been more responsive. We had an issue with the coffee maker our first morning, and a replacement coffee maker was on the front steps within 2 hours. Amazing!!! Great times and great memories!

Great house in the country with land to just hang out!
Our family of four, a granny, aunt and two dogs all enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for everyone, a huge yard, fire pit, soccer field, tire swing, etc. We made s'mores, hung out, and played. They host provided plenty of necessities, such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, paper plates, baggies, plastic wrap, spices, etc. It could use an actual spatula in the kitchen and some organization, but otherwise, pretty well stocked :) Everyone had a place to sleep, washer and dryer, and plenty of space to roam. I would suggest the owners check out the master mattress, as it is pretty worn in and on one side you slide off. But, otherwise, everything was great. The house had a ton of sunlight coming in and we all enjoyed it!
