"It was a cute little cottage. We didn't think it was cleaned...and having little ones, its important. We pulled the futon out and were surprised by all the crumbs that were in the crease. Also the fans were full of dust and a lounge chair was tore. Instructions were out dated..or not for that cottage. They instructed to leave dishes in dishwasher but theres no dishwasher. Instructions did say there was a quiet time and having to wear wrist bands, and one parking spot per rental. We saw more...

"My dog and I enjoyed our stay while in town for an event. Lots of beautiful hiking options, local restaurants, and friendly locals to make our stay at Morty Hideaway the perfect weekend getaway. "We were here for a wedding at The Reserve which was conveniently just across the Highway. We were able to enjoy ourselves and not worry about the drive back to a hotel. This location was very nice and quite so we weee able to relax when needed. We highly recommend this home."

"We love this cabin. We stayed here last year so we already knew what to expect and it did not disappoint!It is in the perfect area to branch out and see everything the Hill Country has to offer. They love dogs of any size so we were able to bring our 110 lb Golden with us, most places do not allow this. The cabin is very nice, it's very clean and easy to keep clean during our stay. The owners are available when needed and are very nice. We would recommend this cabin to anyone."

"2 of us stayed at this property for 4 nights in our 17 day trip. The reason for 4 stars is there was no where to set suitcase but on the limited floor space. Laurie is a fabulous host! Very quick in responses and friendly if you have the opportunity to meet her. We would have enjoyed having a TV in the space as it is a way to relax in the evening. "

"VRBO upholds higher standards here. Our family booked a stay with this VRBO and showed up to a filthy unit with urine on toilets, pubic hairs on the toilet seat (on and under), mold in the shower, hair and trash on the floor, used soaps left in the dish (multiple) and dead bugs as well as spiders crawling on the walls. We refused to stay in these conditions and due to the distrust in cleanliness, we would not be sleeping in these sheets either. Our family was displaced shortly after arriving...

"My only issues was a question that the unit was in listed in check in instructions for New Braunfels and they had mentioned it was in San Antonio, which is not correct. I did indicate to them that it is confusing and they’re looking into correcting their description. Also, the only other issue was checking in and the gates for security would not always open for car entrance with the codes given to me which you had to wait for somebody else driving up that lived there and when they opened up...
