Pet friendly, close to the beautiful Manito Park and Cliff Park, Parks Cottage is 3 minutes from Sacred Heart Hospital, Children's Hospital, and Deaconess Hospital. Nestled into the gorgeous and historic south hill neighborhood, the cottage is walking distance to grocery stores, friendly pubs and fine dining.
Parks Cottage has two beautiful bedrooms with queen memory-foam hybrid beds, plus an office furnished with a desk and futon that folds out to a double bed. The dining area includes a large solid table that seats up to 10 and a game table with chess and checkers pieces. Our updated kitchen is fully equipped for meals grande or petite. The basement is unfinished but does include a brand new washer and dryer at your disposal, along with an unfinished but usable bathroom.

Clean and comfortable home
We enjoyed our stay. It wasn’t a fancy, new home but it made up for it with lots of special touches: a bottle of wine, snacks, bottled water and creamer in the fridge, toys and dishes for the dog, plenty of towels and toilet paper and shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this home. The owner was very responsive.

Great Stay in Spokane
We were visiting the Spokane area for a family wedding and this VRBO rental was perfect for our family's needs. The rental was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location of the rental provided easy access to some great parks, a few excellent wineries and was located in close proximity to the Spokane riverfront area.

We loved the location. Great neighborhood to walk around and having a grocery store close was super convenient. Lots of cool cozy touches at this home. Our daughter loved the reading book and having some kids books available to read was an added bonus.

Wonderful Stay!!
We loved our stay at your cottage in Spokane!! Only 10 blocks away from our dear friends, with Manito Park and the Bluff closeby, it was a lovely stay for us and our two golden retrievers, Gus and Toby. Comfortable, super cute, and amenities were so well thought out. Debby thought of everything!! We hope to be able to come back again soon!!

Very clean and comfortable. Owners have thought of all the little things to make our stay comfortable...tissue boxes throughout the house, water, coffee pods, shampoo/conditioner/soaps. Even items for dogs. Very well appointed. We will definitely stay here again.

Great stay
The property was easy to locate and access. We enjoyed our stay. It was very hard to pull in and out of the driveway on a fairly busy street with the neighbors parking in their yard blocking the view of oncoming traffic. The lighting in some of the bedrooms were hard to see but manageable with sunlight. The 2nd bathroom is in the unfinished (concrete) basement with nothing else. After reading closer the listing does say that but I missed it when I had booked it. Overall, the house was neat, stocked, and pretty clean.

Home Away from Home
This home has all you need to settle in and be your home away from home. The neighborhood is lovely with it's many beautiful and unique historical homes and tree lined streets, it makes taking a walk very enjoyable. The road out front can get a little busy so it's a good thing there is a quaint little backyard for kids to play in. The owners are very easy to communicate with and usually responded quickly. This is the perfect home away from home.

Great getaway cottage
When we pulled up to the address, we were surprised to see that the home had a "For Sale" sign in front which threw us off. It would have been nice to know in advance. Also, it was hard to get in the home. The door handle was backwards. Instead of pulling down you need to pull up to open the door. Other than that, the home is very welcoming, clean and nicely decorated. The fresh flowers were a nice touch! It is located in a great neighborhood and perfect area to walk your dogs.

All was good
Only cons: Everything was as they said it would be. I would have appreciated being able to check in a 1400 but there are no exceptions. The washer and dryer was stated welcome to use but after we washed some clothes we saw the out of order sign on the dyer. I still give them 5 stars. The place was very comfortable, clean and provided every thing we needed. I really enjoyed that they use Roku Tv. Felt right at home!!!!

Lovely weekend & very accommodating owner.
This was my second stay at this house. It's in a terrific location and the many amenities make it a easy choice to rent again. Deb was very accommodating & understanding as the number in our party changed. I gave it 4 stars for accuracy of online listing as the second bathroom is mid-remodel. For us, the house ran warm. Spokane had awesome 80 temps and we couldn't get the house to cool down. I'm unfamiliar with the Daikin heat pump system and, despite all of my googling, couldn't get the temp below 68. We prefer a cooler interior temp. However, this was not a big issue and I didn't bother to interrupt Deb for support. I would rent this house again.

House was very hot upon arrival even tho pleasant outside temp. We spent very long time trying to cool it off and never got AC to work. They had mini splits, which I have at home but still couldn’t get their’s to work. Few calls to listed manager # with no response over two days there. Disappointing for sure. Previous tenant expressed same AC issue. Bathroom fan knob was broken so no fan for smells or showers, hmmm. House would have been just fine except for those 2 important issues and no response was bad.

Charming Home
The location of this property made it perfect for myself and a co-worker that came up to Spokane for a work Christmas party. Deb was awesome as I was flying in pretty early in the day and I needed to get ready for a party that evening so she let me check in early which saved me. This home could have easily held a few more people. This home felt like a home away from home. Deb thought of pretty much everything down to little details like q-tips, cotton balls, lotion etc. There were bottles of water, a bottle of wine and snacks waiting. There were also fresh flowers which was such a fun surprise and I enjoyed that. The kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of linens, blankets, pillows, towels, etc. The decor was so cute and the beds were comfortable. The charm of the home and all of the thoughtful details made this home so wonderful to stay in. This home is also situated super close to a grocery store and a park. I did not bring my dogs but if I had, the dog bowls and leashes were available. I felt like I was right at home. Thank you Deb for the wonderful stay and if I make my way back to Spokane, I will stay with you again.
