"We stayed in this house for the first week of August 2022. It’s fantastic. Clean, spacious and well equipped. The house is in a quiet area about 12-15 mins walk from the lake, the shop (Mercator mini supermarket) and restaurants. Lake Bohinj is exceptionally beautiful, especially at the Ribcev Laz end. "We stayed in the Home Away From Home for 2 nights as a couple. Communication with the landlord before our arrival was perfect, although the lady who was expecting us onsite to give us the key sopke almost no English. The place is exactly as shown on pictures, absolutely clean, kitched well equipped for basic meal preparation. The house is in a quiet area and have a nice balcony to relax and have meals there. I can highly recommend the place."

"This was my second stay at their beautiful place, but won't be my last. The place and surroundings are extremely relaxing, but the best part is the wonderful HOSTS. Wifi did not work - was told it was because of the weather and then it came to light it was the owners account issue (sounded like this was not news) and was never fixed in the two weeks. "We had the best time at The Captain’s Lodge! The lodge is very clean and cozy! The location is absolutely perfect! We were able to walk to everything. Right across the street is a place to rent bikes and a bike trail to the lake/restaurants. Communication/check in and check out were very easy! We enjoyed every minute and we were sad to leave! I was OK, but older people will find this inconvenient. The rooms are of a good size, very clean, with veranda. Not really kid safe because of open electrical outlets that kids can get into.
